Advice on Shiny Hunting Legends

Alright anomaly battles take too long so shiny hunting legendary pokemon is a pain in the behind. Anyone got any advice on how to tackle this? Also can someone explain how the glitter balls work?

After you win the anomaly battle, slow down you game and spam quicksave, you can actually manage to save before the wild mon attacks and you can shiny hunt it way easier. Glitter balls have 1x catch rate on normal mons but they turn them shiny upon capture and 8x on wild shiny ones.

This method seems like a clever way to reduce wasted encounters and make the shiny-hunting process much less frustrating, although players should make sure quicksave works as expected before relying on it for rare encounters.
