Giratina Quest Door Puzzle stuck

I am at the Giratina door puzzle and I screw up the door puzzle. But I cant seem to reset the puzzle even after exiting the portal and the wasteland and re-entering.

How can I reset the puzzle?

Which puzzle are you trying to reset? If you mean the door that Taka sliced through I don't think you can reset that without loading up a prior save. Even if you solve the puzzle beforehand you just get some orbs and a Z-cell and the door won't open. So it probably doesn't matter if you do it before or after.

I'm in the same boat. I messed with the light/dark tiles before I understood the objective, and it's now stuck where sending either/both tiles does nothing.
