Weather question

I'm not sure if this has been asked before, and after searching a bit and not finding anything, can someone tell me how does the weather work in the game? Is it random or does it depend on the weather at your actual location.

Go to a T.V. and keep watching/talking to the it, until it says "Welcome to Reborn's Weather forecast for this week!" and it will tell you what day will have Clear, Raining, Storm, Sunny, and Windy. It's random for each save file and in the next week, the weather will change, so go back to the TV and find out the day! If you're trying to find a pokemon and it said the day for a Storm is on a Friday, and you're on a Thursday, go to your clock and change back to LAST WEEK'S FRIDAY. if you go ahead the weather might change into the next week's forecast, so watch out for that.

Also, if you want to force out another week forecast (for example your week is clear and windy only and you'd like another pattern), you can :

1) Change the date of your computer to seven days later, and note the date on a sheet of paper;

2) Go to the Opal Ward, there is a scripted event there which will check that you changed your weather pattern;

3) Check on T.V your new weather forecast.

When the computer date will be equal or over seven days from the date you wrote down, if you visit Opal Ward the weather will change again.

Going into the future with the time-changing thing will mess up the patterns- if you absolutely must change the time, go backwards.

The aforementioned patterns are completely random, to answer the initial question.
