I just spoke with Simon at the Beryl cemetery. When he asks you the question about if he would see them both again if the world was reborn, does your answer (yes/no) matter? Does the answer change anything in the game?

As in most of the cases, think it only changes your reward (not sure with this one) and dialogue! Maybe he will come help later on in the final battle against Team Meteor o:
