how do I get the devon scope?

I talked to the lady in the sylph corp then went to devon corp to get the model but cant go anywhere from there.

You have to go to the area where there are those puzzles with the discharges (in short, in the Devon downstairs, where you continued up to the end you found Pulse Magnezone), and after a little way, you find a model of the Devon Scope. As soon as you find it, come back and give you the new model of the Devon Scope. The latter will serve you in the forest to the left of Beryl

Yeah, I'm not finding the Devon Scope either. there is nothing in this room.
