Just recently I came back to get the newest version of Rejuvenation and discovered that it updated not once, but twice while I wasn't checking. I've heard from a friend that there's been quite a bit of changes, so I decided to play through the game as a Wedlocke and share it with y'all. And so I present to you: Matchmaking through Pokemon Rejuvenation <- is link I'm also gonna post the rules here just in case someone is curious but doesn't want to go to an extra link Rules! Spoiler 1. Basic Nuzlocke Rules a. Only first Pokemon in a region. Region is defined by the "caught at ____". b. Dupes clause is on. Nothing from the same evolution lines - Shiny clause is NOT on, since shinies are relatively easy to find in Rejuv (at least, last time I checked it was) c. Fainted Pokemon must be buried in the graveyard - Exceptions against trainers with a 30+ level lead (I remember there being, like, 2 level 100 fights relatively early on or something idk) d. ALL THE NICKNAMES 2. Wedlocke Rules a. Caught Pokemon must be paired. For this particular run, I'll be going with male-female. - Depending on the gender ratio of my team, my next pokemon must equalize the genders. Example: I have 1 male and 2 females. My next Pokemon must be female. Any male Pokemon encountered does not count and I must run. b. Pokemon caught after having a full party does not have an initial pair. Pairings will be made when the Pokemon enters the party. c. Each battle only a single pair will be used. Meaning that I can only switch out to the other Pokemon in a pair. - Forced switches such as Roar means I must use the new pair. Can't switch back. d. No genderless Pokemon. Legendaries can be caught but cannot be used. 3. Custom Rules a. I am allowed to box Pokemon in their pairs. This will allow me some freedom in getting a round-ish team. b. All event Pokemon are up for grabs. Base line is, if it appears in the world, it's an event. Unless there's more than one running around. See you guys next episode!
