RaysGoat Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 (edited) So I'm at the castle and the west wing just opened up for me to go work my first day, but the girl we're with says to go check out something in the library first. I think she said purple book? I don't know I can't go back and I'm currently stuck. Usually it's something very simple that I'm just missing because I'm a moron. Can anyone help? Daniel Blackworth Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 The purple book is like directly to the right book shelf of where you're standing from. It's a small detail so you might not see it easily, but it's there.

Hey I don't know to notify you, maybe this will work, but do you know how to escape your cell with your character right after you play with emma? I click on the wall and it says it's cracked but I don't have anything to break it...

No that's not the reason. in V9 you get to play as Emma and discover a secret room in the library where the girl with the purple hair is being imprisoned there. and then I (as Emma) started talking to the girl with the purple hair and then the scene cut to my normal character locked up in his cell with the wall behind him becoming cracked

Also, does the cell not unlock after a while?

I think it is... you could perhaps post your save on the Save File Troubleshooting Thread and wait for someone to move you from that spot.

I haven't tried patching since I did not get that problem, but I think it should work like that.

Giovanni Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 I'm at the part where I play as Emma in the Blacksteeple library, but I'm lost on what to do. I've looked at all the bookshelves and saw the blueprints but nothing seems to be happening.
Junjo_J Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 i had the same problem and downloaded the patch (V10) as well and it looked like it was succesfull. however, when i press the icon to play the game, it doesn't respond at all :/ . is there a way to fix this ? , did i do something wrong perhaps ?
