FraRPetO
Hello, I just wanted to know what people think about my league team: This team is all about power, no wallers, but bulky sweepers (except a few) @ Lum Berry Trait: Contrary EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Leaf Storm - Leech Seed - Hidden Power [ice] - Gastro Acid Serperior is very good with Contrary, and because I wanted a grass type that could do well in singles, I chose this magnificent pokemon Leaf Storm is to destroy pokemon, with Contrary, it makes it even more powerful everytime. Hidden Power ICE, as I don't have a single Ice type move on the team Leech Seed to restore HP when necessary, and Gastro Acid to nullify abilities that can be a threat to this team @ Leftovers Trait: Sheer Force EVs: 160 HP / 252 Atk / 96 SDef Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Swords Dance - Waterfall - Rock Slide - Aqua Jet Feraligatr is a monster after a Swords Dance, it destroys nearly everything with Waterfall Rock Slide to hit multiple opponents, and Aqua Jet to finish off faster opponents Sheer Force will boost the moves This one works very well in Trick Room, as I'm free to change items and EVs, I can always adjust them (625) @Trait: Inner Focus EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Swords Dance - Iron Head - Sucker Punch - Brick Break Bisharp has proven to be a fantastic physical attacker during the league For example using Sucker Punch on Charlotte's scarfed Typhlosion Swords Dance to boost attack (obviously), then it gets super high stat and ready to sweep Iron Head for STAB with chance of making opponent flinch Sucker Punch against faster opponents Brick Break to break Reflect and Light Screen when the opponent uses it Inner Focus when I think the opponent is gonna use flinching moves, such as Rock Slide Defiant otherwise @ Life Orb Trait: Magic Guard EVs: 172 HP / 56 Def / 252 SAtk / 28 SDef Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd) - Trick Room - Psychic - Shadow Ball - Focus Blast Reuniclus will set up Trick Room and sweep Psychic for strong STAB sweeping Shadow Ball against those that resist both Psychic and Focus Blast Focus Blast against steel types @ Flame Orb Trait: Guts EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 SDef Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd) - Bulk Up - Drain Punch - Rock Slide - Mach Punch This one is a beast, with multiple awesome abilities, such as Sheer Force and Iron Fist, It powers up the moves when Flame Orb isn't wanted Bulk Up to be much bulkier and stronger Drain Punch to restore HP and hit them hard Rock Slide against flying types Mach Punch for priority @ Life Orb Trait: Flash Fire EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SAtk Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd) - Trick Room - Heat Wave - Shadow Ball - Energy Ball This one will set up OR make it normal depending on the opponent Heat Wave to hit them all and hard, almost guaranteed KOs Shadow Ball for another STAB Energy Ball against water and ground types There's not very much descriptions, as I don't want to spend lots of time for this. Serperior (F) @ Lum Berry Trait: Contrary EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Leaf Storm - Leech Seed - Hidden Power [ice] - Gastro Acid Feraligatr (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Sheer Force EVs: 160 HP / 252 Atk / 96 SDef Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Swords Dance - Waterfall - Rock Slide - Aqua Jet Red Ranger (Bisharp) (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Inner Focus EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Swords Dance - Iron Head - Sucker Punch - Brick Break Reuniclus (F) @ Life Orb Trait: Magic Guard EVs: 172 HP / 56 Def / 252 SAtk / 28 SDef Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd) - Trick Room - Psychic - Shadow Ball - Focus Blast Conkeldurr (M) @ Flame Orb Trait: Guts EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 SDef Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd) - Bulk Up - Drain Punch - Rock Slide - Mach Punch Chandelure (F) @ Life Orb Trait: Flash Fire EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SAtk Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd) - Trick Room - Heat Wave - Shadow Ball - Energy Ball Edited April 13, 2012 by FraRPetO
Damascus
I like the team in general. however, i think Serperior would be better suited to HP Fire, as there are a lot of pokemon that have a 4x resistance to Leaf storm, and to Ice moves, Scizor, or forretress for example. but other than that, i think it's good. Aero
Instead of using Lum Berry on Serperior, how about just using Substitute over Gastro Acid? Sub blocks status just as well, and gives you a somewhat reliable version of SubSeed, instead of just spamming Leaf Storm. If you're not going to use HP Fire, SubSeed allows you to set up on Pokemon such as Forretress that you can't really hurt much, however you may need a Rapid Spinner just in case it sets up too much hazards. Instead of Lum, maybe the usual Leftovers or Life Orb? xd Edited April 13, 2012 by Aero
FraRPetO
Not all leaders use Ferrothorn or Steel/Bug types, and for that, I've already defeated both Steel and Bug type leaders
