Just to clarifiy, is Shuckle ONLY found in the rocks in apopyhll beach? Or can he be found in any rock? The posts about him don't make it very clear which it is. Also, if it is only in apopyhll, how long until you get to apopyhll after finishing Shelly gym battle? Thanks! I really want me a super tanky Shuckle

The pokemon location guide says "training grounds". That's the beach in Apophyll, iirc

The EV training guide confirms it.

Training Grounds (Rock Smash)

Geodude / Lv.31-35 / (60%) / Ev's: 1 Defense

Binacle / Lv.31-34 / (39%) / Ev's: 1 Attack

Shuckle / Lv.31-36 / (1%) / Ev's: 1 Defense / 1 Sp. Def

Apophyll is two gyms away from Shelly's gym.

It's not even only on Apophyll beach, it's in some very specific rocks on Apophyll beach. You'll find the rocks you're looking for by going south from Apophyll academy, into an area with a handful of trainers, and Kiki giving a lecture.
