sybols at bottom of pokemon portrait

when I look at the summery for any given pokemon, at the bottom of their portrait, there's four little symbols. there's a circle, a square, a triangle, and a heart. what are they there for?

They are just markers for deco, but most people use them in compt. battling to mark how many IV's a certain Pokémon has.

i use them when i am really bored, and i remember they are there. it is literally useless imo

I used them to denote what my pokemon were for. Circle was contests, triangle was breeding, square was PKRS, and heart was a temporary marker for when I was trading.

That's most likely the intended use, if I had to guess.

After all, when you're preparing for Competitive, you breed. A lot.

So, I guess you could use it to mark the best Lucario when you have 79 different ones. But then again, you could just move it to a different box...

They're pretty useless, tbh.

Their there for whatever you please I believe. Have a Pokemon you really like? Use a heart. Have one you want to trade? Use a star. I don't think there is a code or anything for them, but what a twist that would be.
