2nd Meteor Factory after Shade

So i've been looking over the forums and cannot find the topic. I need help with the 2nd team meteor factory after Shade. I can't get out of the cage every time i move the fire/ice/rock pokemon in pace the guard warns me to leave them alone. Please help. Maybe i'm missing something or i'm being blond
