Help with Serra's Gym Puzzle?

I'm stuck on the Spinal gym, because I can't figure out the puzzle, I've heard you need rock smash for it, but whenever I try and have my Nidoking use it, it just says "can't use that here" so I'm fully stumped ono

Are you using rock smash on the mirrors?

If you are and it still doesn't work upload your save and I'll take a look at it.

You have to rock smash the wall in the back. Most just brute force their way through, but you have to look for change of rotation, color, or loss of reflection in the floor. It's quite a good puzzle.
