Maybe I'm being dumb and I'm doing something wrong but my sneasel just will not evolve... I've tried battling until leveling up and using Exp candies (while holding razor claw at night ofc). I tried with a different sneasel as well and I wasn't able to level up either. I have a feeling I'm just doing something wrong but I have no clue what.
Edit: So I managed to evolve it but only once I finished the Ryland fight? Maybe I did do something wrong or maybe it just wasn't late enough at night but it's resolved now

Ok so after like ten minutes I ended up just touching the rock from every single side constantly (after talking to the girl at the landslide) and it worked? I went from the north side of the den and pressed z at every spot on it that I could until I got to the south part and it finally prompted me onto the next scene. Hopefully that works for you..?

Edit: OKAY SO I just used one of my mods to clip through and progress just to see what would happen and that fixed it??? so true
After beating the gauntlet and getting to the area labelled ???, my character is stuck facing forwards. Though I can still move in all directions, I can't interact with anything that isn't directly in front of me, so I think I'm stuck in the area as well?
I redid the gauntlet twice through my earlier saves and it hasn't fixed my problem.
Thanks in advance for any help!

I beat it!!!!
Got rid of sharpedo and toxicroak (I'm usually reluctant to get rid of sharpedo bc destiny bond comes in handy so often) and replaced them with meowstic (who i really only used for trick room and helping hand) and aggron (who's thunder wave and heavy slam/fire punch were a blessing for sweeping in the final section)
I appreciate the advice!!
Update: my game got bugged so i have to redo it lol, but at least it won't be a struggle like before

Lucario, Aegislash and Volcarona can sweep the gauntlet on their own. Nothing else to say, honestly. You could replace Lapras, Sharpedo and Toxicroak, and you'll be just fine. Also, I recommend you get the Thunderbolt TM for Ampharos in the Devon? Building at North Obsidia Ward: https://youtu.be/GTDtvB2S3KA
I was under the impression you couldn't get this TM after Agate City, so thank you so much! It helped a ton

if i were you, i'd hinge on Ampharos. if you teach it Discharge, coupled with the mega evo and factory field it can decimate the enemy teams as long as you pair it with a ground type (or otherwise electric immune mon). Try trick room if it's a bit slow.
Literally just getting a meowstic to set up trick room changed up so much for me. Still stuck on the third gaunglet but it's more of a strategy issue than anything, so at least I'm not stuck on the first one anymore and can get past pretty easily. Thank you!

Thanks for the advice! I’ll see how this all turns out

I've been trying to brute force this fight with my current team and reserves (plus a lot of heart scales and shards for changing up movesets), but I suppose it's clear that I'm not getting past the third fight doing that considering I've been trying for a good week now
I've been thinking I should just add a gastrodon and a blastoise to this team like I've been meaning to, but I'd hate to go through the effort of training another pokemon from scratch after just doing it three times for the last gym and have it do nothing lol

I meant to edit as solved, I managed to get it after a bit of trial and error, thank you though(;^ω^)

I'm stuck in Iolia Valley even after I've unlocked all of the bridges and found the crystal to reveal the exit (and it changes onscreen for me as well after I activate it so I know it's working at that point) but when I go to exit it reverts back to the default route leading to the mining rock. I could just be really dumb and haven't figured something out but-

Zekrom Lin Route
Ignore how terribly optimized my team is, but this has been my main team throughout my file, so it felt wrong to not even try to beat the elite four with them. That, and i didn't really wanna cheese my way through despite how frustrated i was getting. That, and it was really interesting trying to find movesets, since I had to change them up just about every battle. I'm really surprised I managed to make it work somehow. It was a struggle since I didn't want to get rid of move tutor or level up moves since I was saving in between battles, so it was a matter of management and sacrificing slots. Frustrating, but fun. I made some notes for myself in case I ever do a rematch, though. Having more priority moves and having optimized hidden power types and coverage on everyone would have been especially nice. Was especially a surprise when I realized I had exactly six revives left for the final Lin battle since I hadn't bothered to buy more than 30. But I'm satisfied I could even complete this overall, and it felt even more special when my last surviving Pokemon was my starter.
Everyone on this team has had a sash or a z-move on them at some point. I got through Anna with the wonderful help of 4 sash holders.
