[I got really really lucky hunting my Torchic]

I was honestly about to start iv hunting Scorbunny when this little guy showed up. His HP is not that good but look at that Attack stat and I plan to make it speed boost as soon as I can. He's also Quirky.

Was items in Chapter 3 removed cause it only shows two items for the whole Chapter (Was it always like that cause I forgot the entire story since I was waiting for V13 to replay through)?

That's fine. Doing a shiny run so may take a while to get through depending on if the ivs want to play nice.  Shiny Fire Bunny loves zero Attack and Speed ivs lol.

So, just got done with Corey and here are all the event mons I got so far.

 

These mons are also shinies (I got Linoone and Numel shiny by pure chance but I shiny hunted Pichu and Growlithe).

 

 

Here are all the event mons I have managed to find after looking all around the wards so far. I know of Bounsweet but until my group is high enough level to iv/nature hunt then it will have to wait.

 

 

 

I know grass starters have a bad reputation but to be honest having Earthquake is a blessing. I almost swept Corey if he didn't have Crobat. Also, choosing Curse over Leech Seed since I plan to change its nature to shell armor as soon as I find another AC to use.

 

Now, my main fire I decided to use is Arcanine and BOY did it refuse to roll good Shiny iv for over I kid you not 4 HOURS (Failing its Attack and Sp. Atk EVERY TIME). I did want to use a mixed attack Arcanine (Flamethrower/Heat Wave with physical moves but this is the workable IVs it rolled and I decided to just go pure physical. I got Morning Sun as a egg move so yay? Also, BEST SHINY EVER.

 

 

 

Now, as soon as I walked out of the station the wind started blowing so I have to run over to the power plant and shiny hunt Driftloon (Hoping it goes well since it can be psychical/Special or mixed) since all I have to do is encounter it over and over again (kinda like Pichu).

PD: I know the Pichu line can learn that move, but, let's be serious, Pikachu can't even set up because of it's fragility

I plan to use Metagross (Cause it shiny matches the Reborn ball and it will make Mr. 3% easier to shiny hunt) but I may breed Pichu later on so I have a regular Raichu and Alolan. I'm probably going to shiny hunt a scraggy and hope it gets Dragon Dance (Since Drain Punch is a move tutor move as well I think).

So, after spending around two hours shiny hunting (Seriously, 31 in 3 stats automatically but Sp Attack fails almost every time at under 10) I got this little girl.

 

 

Who happened to come with this egg move:

 

I know it only has one IV in its attack but since all the Light Ball users seem to be timid would it really matter? Pichu is staying in my box till I get to the Light Ball. I may just keep it around as a rotation mon in the late game when I can get to the good mons.

Ok, just ran all over the ward and here are all the event mons I found.

 

 

They all have decent IVs with good natures (And it took forever to get a few). Here are the members I've added. Turtwig is in the post above so he'll be left out since you can see his stats.

 

 

I guess the game decided since it took almost an hour to get Turtwig it will give me a nice nature shiny. I used a Capsule to switch from Gluttony but going to pick up when I can. I may switch him out for Gulpin after the battle but bring him back for pick up while grinding the team up.

 

 

I need a fire type and he's it for now. First good fire type I find he's out. If you can tell I hate the monkeys lol.

 

 

Only water type I have for now (Till he evolves and becomes bug/flying).

 

 

Good Psychic type I can use till I'm able to get a good one and that will likely be far far down the road.

 

 

He's a decent mon to use for flying types. Plus the ivs make him a great mixed attacker. I may breed out a shiny later on.

 

 

I kinda ran through the game without looking around much on the Blaziken run so feel free to tell me if I missed a mon. Also if you have any good team suggestions.  Though I'm  not using any mons you catch in the grass, only mons from events, eggs, and trades.

Ok, I wanted to do a run WITHOUT Blaziken easy mode on so I'm using my favorite grass type starter. After an hour of resetting (with around four fails) for a good shiny this came up.

 

 

The Sp.Def is a little low along with the HP but I'm thinking of making him Impish/Adamant later on depending on which is better. Also, 31 in attack is AMAZING!

[[E18] Un-stuck Me! The save file fixing thread]

I'm on Route 2 on my way to get Surf  but I noticed one of my crustles moved from its spot and the one that comes out won't respond to me AT ALL from either side even though I have the sleep powder. I did the ENTIRE crustle puzzle before I went to get Hardy so I don't know why it reset itself back into its nest. Reset to back before I got Surf to see if it was still out but it must of reset back to its nest after I beat Samson?

 

 

 

Update: Ok, I think I know what it did. I guess the game thought was still in sleep mode in its spot cause I threw rage powder in its face and it attacked me. I went to heal after killing it since half my team was dead and its working like it suppose to now.

I think Jan will probably wait to release the new engine along with V13, I know nothing about coding tho' so I ain't really sure if changing engines is difficult or not, all I know is that I was already set in restarting another play in Rejuvenation because of the Gen8 changes, with the new battle animations it will be gorgeous!

May have to set back playing Reju till V13 if that's the case after I finish Reborn. May play through Desolation/one of the other games I have on my laptop. Though only doing a shiny run of Reborn and Rejuvenation. Have many games to play while waiting.

THANK YOU! Ah, will that be released as a 12.2 update (please please please) or will you wait til V13? Playing through Reborn with the battle animations on and would love to play through Reju with battle animations on also since I plan on doing a shiny run.
