Perhaps this question was even motivated by the "Is the Interceptor the MC or the human being behind the computer screen" discussion that happened recently in this thread.

 

 

 

A lot of people independently come to the conclusion that in the origin story that Nymiera tells you in her house, the Man and the Woman are Vitus and Nymiera, but this confirms it (the Woman part, at least) and adds a bit more flavor to Nymiera's character. (Also, it wasn't until I was replaying the game recently that I realized it was "Nymiera" and not "Nymeria".)

 

 

I know that Jan knows that his responses are being watched carefully. He needs to not spoil anything major in his answers, but in addition to this, he has had many oppotunities to answer questions in such a way that would cause people (see: the people posting in this thread, which is a group that I am now a member of) to spiral down the Theory Rabbit Hole as he sits back and laughs. If I were in Jan's position, I certainly would have been tempted to take some of those opportunities.

I have a theory about Nymiera and Alexandra being the same person, just like Vivian and Aelita, (Alexandra knows about the obelisk, Alexandra is a descendent of Nymiera) and the sentence that Jan wrote about how Nymiera is living in modern day life is justifying this theory.

For now, we've known several versions of Melia, not counting her siblings:

Maria from the Prologue who lived in the badlands, Marianette from the prologue, living in a castle, probably the same Maria

Marianette from Sewers Mansion (Normal-type badge) who lived in a Mansion we can't yet identify, for now, and ended up facing Indriad;

Maria from the TimeTravel in Kugearen (so, 50 years "ago"), who lived in what is now Chrisolia's hotel and who was sealed by Indriad in a christal (the one that Kenneth sees in WLL)

Melanie from the Bad Timeline (which we already know is a dark version of Melia and is defeated for now);

And our actual Deuteragonist Melia.

Which of them are the same? Which of them share a timeline or are different versions of each other? Because Venam knows Melia well, but didn't recognize Marianette or Maria when she met them. 

I think it can have something to do with alternate versions of each other, but, with Storm-9 as a reference, we know two of them could have coexisted (Prologue!Maria and Timetravel!Maria) while we could piece that at least two of them could have coexisted after the Cataclism (We know from Angie in the sewers mansion Storm-9 already had happened, and I guess Castle Marianette is a grown up version of Maria from the Prologue...), while originally Melia seemed younger than those two Marianettes.

I think I was wrong here, I now think that he is dead but madame x captured him because she wants to give him life. If she is able to do that she will have the power of time and space (with the time diamond) and now life and death.

As for where that puts Ren and Reina, there are two trains of thought:
1) the fortune teller didn't specify that they were associated with the prophecy, just that one of them would eventually act in an 'evil' manner (though how that'll work out is a bit of an odd point, considering that both of them have managed to not be blatantly influenced by Goldenleaf Town's... unsavory culture during their childhoods); or

2) the Light one of the pair will wind becoming a pokemon somehow.

Keep in mind that this sort of thing does happen in Pokémon's established lore a few times. The most common cases are many Ghost Types being essentially reincarnate spirits of the deceased (and boy would that make for a return that'll catch a lot of folks by surprise; Ren's precarious position also makes it very easy for such a thing to happen in the first place), but it's also worth noting the two cases where someone became a kadabra and the nine "great wizards" that combined to create the first ninetales (sounds like a drawback for botching a Garufan spell within the context of Rejuvenation's lore to me; Gen. 3's Dex Entries were weird sometimes). 

 

Naturally, there's an especially high chance that I'm terribly incorrect with this one, but if I'm actually correct... we're certainly gonna see some seriously surprised spoiler threads on that Version's release~

The fortune teller in the underground tells us that in the final battle the player stands in front of three of there friends,  so I don't think the light prophecy talks about pokemon.

'Reina' is the Spanish word for 'queen', and those of us who delved into the sidequests not attached to the Help Centers should be pretty familiar with a black-haired queen notorious for her evil deeds in her time. I wouldn't be too surprised to see Giselda attempt to possess the girl or something- surely one the most vicious of the Garufa would be willing to pull off a trick like that, right? Her sisters are still around, after all.

I'm pretty sure that the player and venam are two of the lights because in a previous version when you meet indriad for the first time he says that knowledge and intelligence are in the room and I dont think that luca and lenny are the ones he was talking about.

 

In the prophecies I think the man from "not born of man" is indriad but I may be wrong.

 

I'm pretty sure her sisters are spacea and tiempa.

I think crescent is a family member of the player because at the start of the game you can hear a conversation that the player's "mom" was talking to crescent and crescent tells her that all she wants is to see the player smile. So if she is not a family member of the player I dont know who she is.

I was thinking something similar because there are still the dual prophecies and in blacksteeple we see the absol statue with the description of the four darkness, one of them being betrayal, so probably Reina will feel betrayed by Ren and will turn evil.
