Battle - Flora and Battle - Machine are Splicer Admin Battle and Team Splicer Battle by Zumi.

Kudos to her btw, for this amazing music for the battles.

Granted those two themes are indeed awesome...what is this "team splicer" you speak of?

  2. This happened to me as well when I tried using a Lightningrod Manectric against Erick though I never had any major, or otherwise blatant, issues with AI "clairvoyance" outside this particular fight.

That being said...Clairvoyant AI really, really, reeaaaally sucks. And it is the primary reason I dropped PokeMMO to sink like the Titanic in the depths of the darkest corner of my memory, and have not looked back ever since.

  3. So with my new playthrough I decided to horse around with the choice of starters for the virtual league, and to my suprise, even the starting line up changes:

    • For Cyndaquil:
    1. Cyndaquil
    2. Onix
    • For Totodile
    1. Totodile
    2. Phanpy
    • For Chikorita
    1. Chikorita
    2. Mareep

I did the Cyndaquil route on my previous playthrough so I know the team for it by the time the player faces Lance is pretty much:

    1. Typhlosion
    2. Steelix
    3. Gliscor
    4. Qwilfish
    5. Jolteon
    6. Miltank

Did you guys try the other routes as well? What were they like?

Sorry about that! I didn't have access to my pc but wanted to get a result asap so I said whatever I could remember.

It's the help center at GDC's Central building, where you get denied registration for the tournament. When I checked the requests on the board it said I was already doing a quest and would have to cancel to accept another. After cancelling the only other available quest is classified information. but when I try to accept it it says I've already completed it.

Iirc the classified information was a quest which I was supposed to cancel, but I'm not sure if what I'm seeing is a bug.

    Thanks!

    Huh that is strange, indeed.

The mission you're supposed to drop for progression is "Missing children" and the rewards for doing classified information are the rift data for drifio (think that's its name?) and the dept store stamp.

If you're sure you don't have the rewards then it's probably a good idea to check out the bug report section or contact someone who can fix savefiles directly (I don't know how to do that, sorry 😞 )

You got to level 6?  Even after looking u a lot of guides, I only got to level 5 twice.  After level 3 or 4, the last few spaces really do come down to luck.

Yeah, well...whenever I start a new rejuvenation playthrough I always grind those 12k coins right after I get the coin case, so I, too, had to teach myself how play voltorb flip.

It's just...it's frustrating not being able to capitalize on the later levels when I tread on them because the only choices are either 3s or voltorbs. So I get nothing and delevel a whole lot :(...

At this point its almost a complete crapshoot, there is no 100% to win this. The most logical thing in this situation would be to pick the 6-1 column and try the point of its interception with 7-2, but then its pretty much pure luck for a few turns. And even the most logical choice gonna have like 30% bomb. it got a huge element of random, there is just no way around it.

That's what I did and eventually stepped on a voltorb. Oh well :(...

Well obviously you can completely mark up the rows like the middle one that have only bombs and 1s in them because they're useless. Other than that you're in a casino so it's gonna be largely luck based as you'd expect. You can however increase your odds by analyzing the board. For example the top row has 3 bombs and 6 points which means both of its point squares are gonna be 3s. So it's definitely not gonna be the 4th column since that one can only contain a single 2 point square. At the same time you've excluded the top and middle rows from containing the 2 pointer for the 4th column.

Middle column could have one 3 pointer or two 2 pointers so the odds of it being in that one are less than it being in the other 3.

On the other hand, columns 1,2 and 5 can also only contain 3 pointers so that gives some very useful information. Now take a look at the bottom row which has 2 bombs and 6 points. You can reach 6 with three 2 point items but since we know 3 of the columns cannot contain 2 pointers, the combination has to be 1, 2 and 3.  This means either bottom row middle is the 2 pointer or bottom row 4th column is the 2 pointer. At this point you can just take the 50-50 since it's relatively safe. The middle row only has 1 bomb so your odds are good that you'll at least hit a 1 if not the 2 pointer.

And if you hit a 1 then the other spot is guaranteed.

From there you can keep doing this type of autistic analyzing but you might be better off just guessing and getting your coins from the lower levels if you fail....

By the time I get to level 6 or so my patience for abstract thinking kind of...wanes instead. Guess I'll just have to get better at it :(

The one with the Classified Information quest.

EDIT: It's from the Grand Dream City help center.

If I remember correctly the one that couldn't be completed in v11 was the missing children one but Dylan pretty much makes you drop it to progress.

It might help to elaborate a bit on what it is you're seeing because on my first playthrough I didn't have any issues with the GDC help center, granted this is coming from someone who played the flora route (just because I wanted to know what her deal was) if that makes any difference

Would reroll, that nature will piss you off and those hp/ Def will make him quite frail being slow

It's mostly the nature what I'm worried about. Nidoking's always been on the frail side anyway.

I know it also activates the underwater towers on route 11 (the place you reach if you surf from Akuwa town). You need to dive down the big round dive spot first and talk to a woman in a submarine then she'll tell you to activate the towers which open a door.

There is another similar underwater door you can open if you dive from Aquamarine cave but I'm not sure the game specifies that you used the Enigmatic key for that one.

Is this big round dive spot in route 11, sir?

  10. It's a really nice touch to see another one of your badges becoming something else and as far as I understand it, this new key opens more than just the event door during the pyramid storyline. I just don't know what the keyholes for it are supposed to look like, or how I'm supposed to approach them once I find them.

How do I use this key?

    TIA 🙂
