I created the new game and put the file with it's save in the folder I had the game in then I took game.rxdata with my old save and placed it over the new one it asked me if I wanted to copy it over it I accepted and my old save overwrited the new one but when I booted up the game it didn't read my old file I think it's because I didn't rename ether file because I got a pop up saying that if I messed with the file's name it would make it unusable so I didn't want to mess with it unless I messed up the save file ether I messed up on what I was supposed to do or I misunderstood what you told me

I attempted it again and finally succeed using  Game-Z I made the new save with the old one named as game then when trying to copy it into where the new one was in it didn't work so I moved it back to where I had it before then named it back to game.rxdata and copied it into the new save and it finally worked but now I want to try and move the new save file to the Usb I have the game on in case this computer breaks as well thanks for your help!
