So I got a litten as my starter, but it's level 19 and still not evolving?
The evolution level for all the starters is currently at 20, for eventual balancing reasons. My bad I should have left some kind of mention of that somewhere.

I have still the same bug after the rival battle on route 1.
's there something wrong or something not correct fixed.
Hey thanks for letting me know about the problem, I have updated the files on both the links. Try downloading just the data folder from one of the links and replacing your old data folder with it. If the problem persists let me know.

Pokemon Unbreakable
The second version release of the adventure is here!
-===============================================================================================-
STORY:
Come one, come all to the Ironava Region, after our thirteen failed attempts to reinstate the Pokemon League, people began to claim that the Ironava Pokemon League
was cursed, for some reason. However, this year has been an unexpected success! Now trainers are encouraged to battle the eighteen Gyms spread across our beautiful region and
the very best one out of all those trainers will become a legend, by becoming the first Ironava Champion in nearly a century (ninety-seven years to be exact)!
... Huh have none of you heard the stories? C'mon this is basic history here. Well... Ironava used to be a Region filled to the brim with legendary Pokemon and the
people were connected to them in a very unique way. Not like spiritually or anything, but some would hang out in cities or help with transportation. In a few documented
cases, some would even do more powerful favors if you proved yourself. Anyway that's not the important part, exactly ninety-seven years ago a group called Team Aspire
seized control of the Region... to do something. They weren't trying to destroy the world or create a new one, so I don't know what the problem was. Despite that, seven
strong and supposedly noble Pokemon Masters rallied all the legendary Pokemon and launched an attack on Team Aspire's various bases, the ensuing battle has since been referred to as the Grand Calamity! Named so... because the people who witnessed it, that are still alive today, insist that it was quite the spectacle. Mountains blew up and were restored
within minutes, meteorites rained down and destroyed cities, only be repaired instantly from the immense psychic energy of the people who were living there, seas became lava,
the sky became ice ectera, ectera... My Granddad told me about how he watched a rip in space merge with a giant ball of floating electricity and become a plasma covered black hole!
I think I have some pictures around here somewhere... ahh, never mind. So anyway after the dust cleared Ironava looked entirely different, parts were broken off,
a chasm cut into the the center of it, whole sections buried by debris, but more importantly the seven masters, every single legendary Pokemon and the top brass of Team Aspire
had vanished without a trace. Ever since the Grand Calamity, Ironava has dealt with countless conveniently timed catastrophes and disasters, now it's just considered another
part of everyday life. The Pokemon and people of Ironava tend to look at the glass as being completely full (half-filled with toxic contaminated water, the other half ash filled air). It's because of these convenient setbacks that the Pokemon League has evaded Ironava for so long, but not anymore. The League returning is, i'm sure, a sign of things getting better for Ironava. Perhaps whoever
becomes the Champion will be the one to lead Ironava into a new golden age. Oh! There's no pressure or anything, the people of Ironava may not look it, but we can be rather resourceful when pushed
and can adapt very quickly when need be. Honestly whatever you accomplish probably won't matter in the long run, at least to the majority of the population. I think you're best option is to
go on an adventure, battle through some, none or every gym, maybe defeat an evil organization or twenty and enjoy yourself. Besides we've heard nearly every other region does it, so there must be something vitally important about it...-===============================================================================================-
Features:
Features- All 807 Pokemon and 18 Gyms blah blah blah...
- First trainer to defeat all 18 Gyms will become the Champion of the region and personally decide how many Elite trainers become standard.
- 2 Regions in 1 more on this later...
- Pokemon Contests with its own story to accompany it.
- More TM's and Items that can replace HM's.
- One all-purpose Rival.
- An emphasis on out of Dialogue choices ( i.e You can battle gym leaders or abstain and either choice leads to different problems and character interactions.)
- A Snack Point (SP) System that can buy pokemon raffles and snacks of course, also leads to hidden side-quests.
- A well-thought out and lighthearted story that prioritizes discovery and adventure.
- Music by HappyDragonite, Lala19357 AKA "The Zephyr" and other talented composers/remixers.
- Open ended Side-quests which will encourage thinking outside the box for multiple ways to complete them.
- A small main cast that effects things in different ways depending on how you interact with them.
- Multiple Outfits
- Choices that effect the story, and fewer (but just as important) choices that effect character relationships.
- A focus on comedy, character and spectacle!

Bugs/Glitches:
I am the only one working on the game so there are bound to be mistakes or things that I have missed, not an excuse but an explanation. So please report any bugs, imperfections, grammatical errors and glitches you find by direct messaging me.
-===============================================================================================-
Updates:
In case you played the previous version i'm sorry for the almost year long delay when it really should'nt have taken this long. I had several setbacks because of broken computers
and badly timed crashes which delayed me quite a lot with developing this version.
Ideally I'm expecting to have a new update for the game sometime in the next month which should finish some side quests in both available
towns and add/improve the catchable pokemon and puzzles already in the game.
As well as clean up some of the sloppier and rushed dialogue/enviorments.
I'm going to put as much of my time as possible to deliver as best an experience as I can.

Help:
If you would like to help with the development of Pokemon Unbreakable in the future, whether that's beta testing the game and giving feedback or helping with the scripting or spriting for the game. Either send me a private message here or email me at TheAquaMacaw@gmail.com
I welcome anyone willing to lend a hand.

The main thing i look for in fangames is the story, a few (reborn, rejuvenation, desolation) have gone above and beyond to really create relatable characters and a plot to keep you engaged and this game seems to have the potential to be up there with them so you defintley have my intrest. I may wait for another episode or 2 to come out but i just wanted to let you know to keep working cause it looks great.
2 questions though:
What would you say the difficulty rating of this game would be and are you planning a progress thread?
First of all sorry this reply took so long I've been out of state for work and I haven't been able to work on it as much as I would have hoped. To answer your questions the difficulty is planned to be overall easier than most fan games coming out right now. Certain side quests and story choices can lead to harder challenges but I dont have a super hard game in mind. Secondly I dont have a progress thread at all planned just because i feel it'll be too inconsistent with just me working on it, I might consider it in the future. But I will have status updates on my profile whenever I make major progress on the game. Hope that helps and thank you for the encouragement.

thanks, looking forward to it............ as i always tell fan game devs, especially those like you who work on these kinds of projects solo, never overexert yourself, real life and health come before this kind of stuff
Thanks for the advice trust me I've already experienced plenty of burnout before. If it wasn't for burnout, you might have seen this fangame appearing in your notifications two to three years ago. I'll definetly take your words to heart.
1 hour ago, Candy said:Heyy I started playing the game The starting part was pretty interesting and got me hooked. There's some errors in the form of typos and tile misplacement (such as being able to walk over things you shouldn't, or NPCs passing through the MC) but as of now I'm going to give it a leisure play and then I'll report 'em juicy mistakes when I restart the game :3
I'm looking through the game rn and fixing some of the errors you talked about. If it's not too much of a hassle if you remember when and where some of these glitches happened please let me know (especially the NPCs walking thru the MC) and I should have an updated version in a day or two. Thanks for playing.

looks interesting........... if i may be so bold, how far does the demo let us wander? usually when i find a new fan game based on pokemon i myself personally hold off on giving it a shot until there's at least 4 badges available, tho that depends too of course on how many badges are planned on being in the game overall as well as the amount of people working on the game in question.................. either way it does look promising and i look forward to playing it in the future
This version only goes as far as the first gym at the moment. Thanks for reminding me about that I updated the post with that information. When it gets around to the 4th gym and beyond I hope you enjoy your time with it.

I made my own Sonic the Hedgehog movie trailer....
-
I'm using version 17.2 as well, im not using any scripts from reborn, I am using some custom scripts that effect the Pokemon contests but i've had this flash effect problem since before I added those. and no the map isn't connected to any other map. I might try adding all my data and stuff to a new unzipped Pokemon essentials and see if that works.
10 hours ago, Autumn Rain said:Strange, the white screen flash seems to work fine for me on large screen sizes.
What version of Essentials are you using? (I tried on 17.2 and older which seems to work fine)
Did you use any of Reborn's scripts, EBS scripts or are you using a script made by someone else?
Is the map of the screen flash connected with another map via Map Connections?
-

For the second question, http://prntscr.com/ng2ooq
The Script Section PokeBattle_Move.
You can just use Ctrl + Shift + F to search for a specific keyword/keyword(s) in all of the scripts.
As for the first one, I don't think there actually is a fix outside of just switching to normal/small.
Thanks this helped a lot, sucks that there might not be away to fix the flash issue guess i'll just have to work my way around it.
-
1. During a couple of events, I use the Screen Flash effect and it works just fine when the game window is small or medium size, the problem comes up when I switch to a large screen size and then the flash effect only appears in the top left of the screen. Its distracting and I need to know if there is a way to make it scale to proper size.
2. This one is simpler, I want to know how to make an item do the same thing as an Ice gem in the scripts. The Item is defined in the PBS files, but I don't know where in the scripts the Gems are all defined.
Thanks for any help and if you need clarification just ask ( first time trying to explain a problem like this. )

My family plays it a fair bit. I've tried every class, and from what I've encountered Death is the best, Myth is the worst (sorry).
Oh dont worry I know its the worst I just thought the summons looked cool as a kid.
-
So I woke up two days ago and remembered how I used to waste time when I was a kid. And decided to try doing it now as well when I looked online I was surprised to see that Wizard 101 is still up and running while some of the other mmos I played arent like 'Pirates of the Caribbean' and 'Toon Town'. Is was a massive nostalgia bomb playing through the tutorial, and I actually still found it fun actually playing the game makes sense since i'm a sucker for turn-based strategy games. And card summoning is just icing on the cake. I always played as the myth class wizard because you could summon GREEK MONSTERS and NINJA PIGS it was awesome. I mostly made this topic to see if anyone else has has nostalgia with this game or maybe i'm just weird and if you have any stories about the game feel free to share em'.
-
This happened to me a couple times, my guess is that it has something to do with the script for Pokemon requiring the shape value. I just copied and pasted the same shape for every 6th and 7th generation Pokemon. As far as I now (and i've looked) there's no way to get back deleted info from pbs besides manually putting it back in. Sorry...
-
I don't know about highly anticipated but i'm creating a Pokemon fangame called Pokemon Unbreakable, the first official version is still a W.I.P but you can play the Demo here. Hopefully you'll enjoy it.

Yay, I'm first.
This game sounds really promising!
Will there be a speed up feature to this game? (Please)
I didn't even think about that, but yeah i'd be totally up for putting in a speed up feature for grinding and stuff. There's still a lot of things I need to learn regarding coding and scripting but when I learn how to I probably will put that feature in.

I feel comfortable enough to finally tell a story that will at the very least give you a sense of adventure.

setbacks that the Pokemon League has evaded Ironava for so long, but not anymore. The League returning is, i'm sure, a sign of things getting better for Ironava. Perhaps whoever
becomes the Champion can set things right in this region. Oh! No pressure or anything, the people of Ironava may not look it, but we can be rather resourceful when pushed to
and adapt very quickly when need be. And honestly whatever you accomplish probably won't matter in the long run, at least to the majority of people. I think you're best option is to
keep your head down, battle through every gym and aim to become the champion. Besides we've heard nearly every other region does it, so there must be something
vitally important about it...DEMO:
QuoteA very short and terrible demo that really only exists to show me the kind of time and effort required to make a fan game. It also exists to introduce the main cast... kinda.
Think of it like an alternate universe to the actual game. Hope you enjoy it for what it is!

* Several graphical glitches happen if you play on large screen size, they aren't game breaking but it is annoying.
* There are sprites that are used as placeholders from other games, and hopefully they will be changed in an actual version releases.
The First Version is Out:
Help:
As of right now the most important thing I need is help with is Spriting. If you are confident in your ability
to do pixel art, I would LOVE your help.

Sorry for the confusion, turns out the problem had to do with something completely different to what I had thought. The links have been replaced with updated game files and I believe the problem to be fixed.
For anyone who encountered the same problem try deleting the game folder and re-downloading the game with the new MEGA link.
