[Reborn Mac Guide 2: Electric Boogaloo (2 Methods in One)!]

I tried to fix a bug with episode 18, by re-downloading wine and wine bottler, but now I can't access my saved files on episode 17 or 18. They are still in the same folders as the game.exe for each version respectively but it keeps wanting me to start a new file. I since deleted the other copies of wine and wine bottler by emptying the trash on my Mac. Not sure how to continue my saved files...

I'm trying to update my saved files. I just tried downloading the new episode for the third time today but I still have the same problem.

Tried using the wineskin method but I still can't figure out how to update my previous files to episode 18. Also the person who sent me their copy of episode 18 is also using a mac and they haven't had trouble accessing the PC so idk why it's happening for me.

Whenever I go to access a PC in episode 18, this message pops up and then the game closes. I've been able to get in the PC a couple of times but the game will still freeze or crash before long. I've tried accessing it from a pkmn center as well as in the gym (as pictured), and both places fail.  This happens to multiple save files as well as multiple downloads of the game.  I downloaded the public release twice and even got someone to send me their copy which works for them but nothing seems to work.  I am using a mac, but the only other time I've had a message like this pop up was if I left the game open and untouched for too long (in earlier episodes). Please help! Thanks in advance!
