Update: i turned off the DEP and turns out the game is running now! I wasn't aware that thing could mess up the execution of rgss. Thanks for your time! Topic can be closed.

Had the same idea but couldn't figure out what was missing. I tried all the links so maybe a .dll that i should have?

Yeah, i mean i double-click the .exe, run as admin, tried compatibility mode with other windows versions but all the game does is open a black screen for a fraction of a second and then closes immediately, no loads no crashes it just closes. I looked up for the save location folder hoping i could find or ask around a random save file just to make the game load to create a new save but there isn't one.

Hey first things first i'm sorry if there's a topic about this issue already but i searched for a solution for a while and got no clue. I downloaded yesterday the episode 17 to find out the game (.exe in the folder extracted) won't load. I tried the other download links but didn't work. Tried restarting the computer and also failed. Tried episode 15, same thing. Compatibility mode, run as admin, nothing works. I have Windows 10 btw. Any ideas that could help?
