  1. Hello folks. I cannot remember for the life of me if Drain Punch can be learned from a tutor. I tried looking it up and a while ago a user stated that you can find the move after "Agate City", but I just cannot remember if this is true or the location for it.

I suspect there is some truth to this because I have a Pangoro with drain punch and I don't know why other way they could've learned it.

I appreciate anyone that can jog my memory.

  2. My opinion is pretty botched by the fact that I will only like a starter set if I like the designs of all three Pokemon. If we're talking raw battle ability, one can't deny that Gen 3 made some very powerful starters. But the last generation that I definitively liked the designs of all the Pokemon was Gen 2. The only reason why I don't add Gen 3 is because Blaziken was the first big change in fire starter designs that I didn't really care for, which is a shame because Swampert and Sceptile look great. The Gen that came closest to me liking all the starters again was Gen 6.

Then Gen 7 was a huge letdown for me purely due to Incineroar. I know you like this one OP, but hear me out. I was hype for a lion/cat based fire starter for years, and when it finally happens, the legitimate fire lion is a low-tier Pokemon, and Incineroar blue balls me by suddenly standing upright.

I attached a picture to merely point out what could've been for poor Incineroar, at least it's what I prefer.

  3. Might as well chime in since this thread was revived.

If a Pokemon has base stats lower than 500, I generally rule them out unless I desperately need a certain type for coverage.

Despite Pokemon evolving as a game since the days of Pokemon Red, to this day I go for a balanced team and just brute force my way through the game. Every time I catch a new Pokemon I look up its base stats to see if its worth training. Over the course of a game my team develops, and usually there is one type that I have an issue with. Usually most of my Pokemon are weak to water or Ice and I find myself crippled if my electric type dies, so I raise a new Pokemon to prevent the possibility of getting rolled over by a certain trainer type.

However, Pokemon in general is a pretty easy game and if I hit a wall during a battle, I find that just buffing my Pokemon to Godhood with X items literally beats any trainer.

For Reborn, I have pretty much raised three Pokemon of every type since team building is a big part of this game and I enjoy it. Definitely wish there were more good Poison types with access to a proper move pool though.

  4. That's very kind of you. My online username is Jubedube and my trainer name is Hiro. You don't have to make them super IV buffed, I can do the breeding as I've done it on my own so far.

Hope you're having a good weekend. Feel free to let me know if there are any pokemon you're interested in, in case I have any.

  5. Hello folks, this is my first post and I hope to be more involved with this community.

I understand that Gengar was available for a limited time, as well as Mudkip. As for Deino, I'm just requesting that out of greed. Anyone that can help, I'm more than happy to know if I can give you something that you want as well.

I've also been getting into breeding and I'd like to share these pokemon once I get them. I don't have a perfect IV ditto or anything, but they have solid 23+ IV's across the board so they would be decent pokemon.

Thanks for reading, hope I'm not asking too much.
