Oh, maybe, I've heard that you can't battle gym leaders with shadow. I'll try to store my Meowth in a box.

When I try to battle gym leader Venam, she keeps saying "XXX, you know better. Those kind of Pokemon aren't allowed here". I don't know what to do, I tried to start the battle with all of my Pokemon in the first place in my team (I have Rockruff, Deerling, Shadow Meowth, Marshtomp, Poochyena and Dustox). Do I have to have a certain Pokemon or what?
