Beware, it is a genuinely difficult game, not the plain/old/boring fight against overleveled pokemon and that's all folks... Many enemies have competitive movesets, have their mons EV trained with nice IV scores, use items in battle and can sweep you, almost effortlessly. Then, there are those fields; and forget the trick of raising levels and overpowering stuff. There is a level limit, past which, your pokemon ignore your orders.

 

Blaziken though, is one out of the 3 single strongest starters, in this game. Use well and go for speed boost.

 

You couldn't ask for more, out of Reborn... Gen 3 style, all pokemon up to and 7th gen, not childish story, hard battles (with satisfying wins), choices that have an impact in game's course, etc. Be ready to use odd pokemon that you would never even consider, in main games. Good ones are pushed back very late in the game. And forget those pseudos. Until next episode, at least.

Definitely learned not to overleveling the hard way. I realized this when I know the gym leader always have a team composed of 6 Pokemons and the first gym is just chock full of Pokemon spamming Sonicboom that a party of only 2 Pokemons won't gonna cut it through even at level cap. And speaking of which, the level cap is just complicate things further. I also find myself with a lot of Pokemons I'm not even think to raise before playing Reborn.

 

Tho, thus far I'm enjoying the game. Since some battle could outright whoop my ass down if I'm not crazy-prepared...

So... Yeah. It's just me and my curiousity who brings me here (actually, one trivia site brings me here, soooo...)

 

I usually goes by the name 'Kengo' for the Internet Alias. I'm a first-year college student. I have been playing Pokemon since I'm 10 years old or something. Around that time, my dad bought me a GBA and a copy of Pokemon Emerald -which kickstart my journey. Ever since then I've played and followed the history of Pokemon (tho I don't watch the anime).

 

I usually consider myself as a casual player and play with my own groove, but I tend to get carried away sometimes. My favorite Pokemon is Blaziken since it was my first starter. So you probably can guess which starter I'm taking here. And, boy. The site which brings me here doesn't even sugarcoat the fact that this game is mind-bendingly difficult, I have to actually restart the game as soon as I hit the first gym since I only have 2 main Pokemons and it'll be a pain to raise 4 more Pokemons from scratch. I'm currently on my way beating the second gym, FYI.
