Please provide your save file, as well as any mods you use, as well as if you are currently using debug, thanks.

No mods used or debug but I managed to "fix" it by using one of the back-up save files to roll back to before I engaged the trio and after going through the fight and the capture process again, it worked this time. No clue what happened the first time around but all good now. Thanks!

  2. Hello,

I'm currently doing the post-game quests etc after beating the elite four and I seem to be stuck after doing the legendary genies quest in route 4. I caught all 3 and after returning to the nightclub, the dude that "gave" me the quest is still there giving me the same "reminder" lines of dialogue. Moreover, you will notice from the image attached, that the sparkling star on the nightclub map is gone (as it should after I caught them) but the quest completion did not register for some reason. I'm I missing something, or is this a known bug? The only thing I could find was this reddit post of someone who encountered the same problem but the answers don't really make much sense or help. Any ideas?

    Thanks

I have the 3 pieces of the card key and am on the new version, but when I try and get the Beldum, it won't let me. Is there another step in this version?

I had the same problem in V11 and it still persists for V12. No idea if its a save file specific problem or a bug that only a handful of people experience. No one seemed to know what is going on or how to fix it last time I asked in the forums. Let's hope someone knows this time around.

  4. As the title states I am unable to catch the little buggers. It's been a long time since I last played Pokemon Rejuvenation so I'm kinda out of the loop of what transpired in past episodes etc. But as far as I can remember ( + a little bit of googling) the Snag Machine breaks at some point. Thing is, I am done with the last episode meaning that the Snag Machine should be repaired at this point. Am I missing/ forgetting something or is this some sort of bug?

P.S The Pokemon in question is the shadow Beldum. Throwing balls at it gives me the standard "don't be a thief" text. Can't remember if this was happening for other Pokemon after the device was fixed so it might be a long standing issue with my save file.

If you post your save file I can finish it for you. Most likely you are more or less at the solution but need just a couple moves to finish.

    Wow, thanks
Here's the puzzle up until the last 2 right-side columns (second to last is almost done). The solution I am going for has   3 4   in the last 2 columns.

                                                                                                                                                                                         5 9

                                                                                                                                                                                         7 2

P.S Had to zip the save file...

  6. Spoiler

For the past week or so, every once in a while, I kept trying to solve the infamous Devon "Rubik's/Magic Square" Puzzle. Long story sort, after many failed attempts I can reliably sort everything up until the last two columns and then everything goes to hell. Since this is the last side activity left, I gave in and decided to cheat by following a "tutorial" but to my dismay the number arrangement has changed since the tutorial's release. Every video out there that I was able to find has the old number arrangement. Is anyone aware of an updated video demonstrating the solution? Any kind of help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

  7. I am looking for a Torchic and/or Shroomish (Don't care about IVs, nature, ability or if there are shiny).

    My offers:

    • A shiny Mimikyu with mediocre IVs (14/12/31/31/29/23) and Docile nature
    • A Gastly with fairly good IVs (13/31/24/31/31/31)  and Naive nature
    • An A-Vulpix with Freeze-Dry and Moonblast bred to it, with good IVs (31/17/31/31/26/29) and a Modest nature. (Sadly no Aurora Veil because my save file is pre-EP17)
    • EDIT: Also a Larvesta with fairly good IVs (31/31/31/31/24/29) and Serious nature

If none of the above interest you, i might have a Mon that you are interested in that i can breed for you (with fairly good IVs probably). Just ask

  8. I figured it out...I realized that Murkrow doesn't start with confuse ray so no moves should get overwritten anyway. That means that it was getting confuse ray from the father (which in this case is Ditto). That made me check the Ditto i was traded to the other day only to find out that it knows moves other than transform (how?..). One of those moves was Confuse ray, a move that Murkrow can learn through breeding... thus the father (Ditto) was passing it to the child overwriting the previously bred move (Brave Bird).

  9. I bred Brave Bird onto a Murkrow then i proceeded to breed it again multiple times with a ditto to produce one with desirable IVs. The Murkrow in question knows these moves in the following order: Perish song, Roost, Wing Attack and Brave Bird. No matter where Brave Bird is located it always get overwritten by Confuse Ray (tried all the positions). I was under the assumption that if a move is last, it's always the last that gets overwritten. Apparently that's not the case and  it gets overwritten anyway wherever it is in this case. I never had this problem before. Am i missing something?

    Hi

My name is Dan and i would like to trade starter pokemon

I've got all of the starter pokemon from gen1 till gen 7

The only ones I am missing are: Litten, Torchic. I can offer you a Gastly and/or a Larvesta (both have very good IVs). If you aren't interested in those, i can breed you a different Mon, provided i have it of course.

Oh wow, thank god you answered this, because I had already returned it to her and I would never have talked to her again...

Just a general tip for this quest: All the NPCs are in some ways connected with each other and there is a lot of back and forth between them. It can sometimes be confusing, so try to read the text and when in doubt check with the other NPCs. If nothing else, the community is here to help :)

Anyone can tell me where do I leave santiago's jigglypuff at? Honestly the "you can leave it anywhere as long as you let me know of it" didn't help a lot as a hint to whom I give it to xd.

Santiago doesn't give you a clue but some other NPC involved in the same quest does give you clue.

    Spoiler

    Hint: Loudred owner

It was a bit complicated for me too, but what you need to do is put pokesnax in one of the containers, and then go back around, then fall in the hole right by that container. This will startle the Gible so it will battle you and you can catch it. (btw it is level 30, so don't hit it with anything too strong).

You don't even need to fill all the basins, one suffices. The annoying part is that it is trial and error, since it seems like it moves when you go back up a level or sometimes it doesn't spawn outright and you need to enter the lower level and then go back up a level.

Has anyone found where I can get Chimchar, I heard it was from Azurine Lake after the donation but only found a Chikorita and a Rocky Helmet so far

    Spoiler

It's a night time event only. When its night a dude will appear to the right of the entrance.

  15. You used to get a ludicrous amount of money from the Grand Hall trainers. At the end of EP16 i was getting around 18-30k per battle. I was indeed nerfed now and its increase the 4-8k or so.

It is still a decent source of income and common candies cost 300 per, meaning you get a net gain anyway. Also as other suggested, save and reload instead just losing.

EDIT: There is also the Amulet Coin. You equip it to a mon participating in the battle and it boosts your money gain.

I was wondering if there is any way i could find/buy one ingame.

I know there was a guy selling it on North Obsidia Ward, but the guy was no longer there.

    Thanks!

You can buy them on the 9th floor of the department store (That is if you are far enough into the game and you have the department store tickets). Apart from the random stones you get here and there I am not aware of another place where you can get them.
