[Delays in Battle]

Whenever I enter a pokemon battle, there is a short delay after I choose an attack. In single battles it's not so bad. The delay lasts from 3-10 seconds. However, it's extremely annoying in double battles especially when the AI is my ally. The delay lasts from 15seconds to over a minute with the game sped up.

 

At first I thought the problem was my old E5 save, so I started a new game. When that didn't work I tried to constantly use the updater. Then I tried turning off the speed up button (when you press 'Alt' to make the game go faster) but still no dice. It can't be my computer because I just bought it a few weeks ago and it plays all my other games with no issues. 

 

How do I resolve this?

Anyone else has this issue?

Do you have any recommendations? Basically any other pokemon games where your choices affect the game or any pokemon game you think is interesting.

I just beat charlotte and i cant go back to agate circus because one of the crustles i had placed in the hole dissapeared.

please help me.

I followed all of your directions exactly and tried to head back to agate circus, but the Crustle i should jump on is still missing. I even tried using earlier backups to see if it would fix the problem but no success...

What should i do know?

Pokemon reborn.Help! I recently just defeated the fire gym leader charlotte,but when i was returning to agate city one of the crustles that i pushed in the hole have dissapeared. I am now stuck. Can someone please help me?
