Right click on the file you want to duplicate, and there should be an option saying "duplicate" or something like that

Not for me sadly, no duplicate option when I right click, either way, I've been scarred for my life of Pokemon Reborn, and I'm sure I can grind the coins rather easily on my 7th file anyway, i I just play Voltorb flip for a bit.

What about right clicking on the Game.rxdata file I uploaded, selecting copy, and then going to Saved Games > Pokemon Reborn and pasting it there?

    I'll try that

I just now got it to work. Thanks or wasting a couple hours I'm sure it was to help a poor scrub like me get his save back

Can you find the folder that contains all your save files? (A bunch of them, in the format # - Joseph - time - # of badges.rxdata)

Put it in that folder. I use a mac, so maybe the place where savefiles are located is a little different in windows.

I've already tried to do that, and I'm completely sure that will work, but since I'm pretty bad at simple computer mechanics, I can't find a way to drag it to Saved Games, and into Pokemon Reborn

No, in my case it's all in the same folder as the game itself... so Idk what's up

Perhaps a mod can help out?

Maybe I'm just doing something wrong.

I download the game.rxdata file you send me

I drag it through the file explorer

    I go to downloads

I put it inside Reborn 16.2

Do I keep it as it is, outside of the Pokemon Reborn file

Or do I put it inside the Pokemon Reborn file?

When I put it inside the Pokemon Reborn file after putting it in Reborn 16.2 it doesn't do anything as if starting a new game (This is the file with Data, Audio, Graphics etc.)

Would it work if I put it inside the Saved Games: Pokemon Reborn file?

If what you wanted to do was open the file, I did, and this is where you were:

Ignore the change in hair-color, I recolored my main character lol

Now if you wanted to do something tech-complicated, I think I'll have to baton pass to a mod here :/

What happened after you opened the file, did the game itself work and all that? If so that would be great.

(The best part about this all is I was just trying to trade a Nidoran M over to my other file to get a Nidoking, but I guess I ended up low-key deleting a file and never getting the Nidoran over.)

  6. Ah, I see what you mean now. (And yes, it was the main file that I lost, not too disappointed though, I still have a secondary file that is already up to scale with my main file) I'll try renaming the thing I linked to game.rxdata, though I'll be surprised if it works.

(Just now tried it, didn't work.)

EDIT: What I meant by attaching it to a new save was to possibly make a new save file, and getting the thing I linked to replace it, which in my theory, get my save back.

  7. So being the idiot that I am, I attempted to trade myself on a singular computer to see if it was possible, and sure enough it could work out fine, but since you have to save before you go to the online mode, I actually managed to copy one of my save files over another, which had to be my main file. I know exactly how this happened, in fact, I had to change the game.rxdata1 to game.rxdata, after switching the one I had open from game.rxdata to game.rxdata7, while it was still open, and proceeded to open the one that has now been changed to game.rxdata, I then also went into online mode on that one, and proceeded to start the trade. It turns out if you press X on the trade, it brings you back to the game, and me doing this, I went "oops" and closed both games. Now, what exactly I did wrong here, was going to online on my non-main save file second, which would mean I had to save second, which meant I saved my non-main over my main, which "deleted" it from game.rxdata1. But I know that it probably isn't completely deleted, from me going to the file with the rxdatas in it and seeing my save file. 1912 - Joseph - 94h 26m - 14 badges.rxdata I have no idea if this can be fixed, but I'm sure if it's possible, It's a simple transport from one file to another, which I already tried, but couldn't find a correct file to transport it to. I would really appreciate if I could get some help on this, because I really don't want to lose the save that I have pretty much everything on.
