I mean, why are you playing v6? It has been a few days since v9 was released, and there were v7 and 8 too.
This fight was changed and rebalanced so it looks completely different from this version, also I don't think we have much information about her team since this is an old version.
I recommend you just updating for the newer version, Jan has made some nice changes not only to the fight, but to the entire game as well.
(also it has some cool custom shinies)

Some people say this ocurres only after getting your 8th Badge, but I managed to get it with 7.

Just go through the gym puzzle again, it'll teleport you to another room.

Are you using the current patch? I believe this bug has already been fixed.

Dunno if this is a bug or not, nor if it has only happened to me, but when I bring the Zangoose data Zumi asked for, she won't recognize it. Even if I have both Zangoose's data in my Pokédex and a Zangoose in my party she keeps saying where to find it.

Axew isn't available as Jackpot starter anymore, now the Jackpot starters are: Jangmo-o, Ralts, Eevee and Riolu.
Tfw spent 2 hours to get an Eevee, totally worth it.

Don't know if Crawli's ace is going to be changed again, since the original was Volcarona, then Jan changed it to Escavalier, but now Araquanid fits him and his gym much better.

These two mugshots are in the game files, but we didn't get a chance to see them in game yet. Which kind of characters do you think these will be? Last time, the bizarre green haired girl with a giant flower was revealed to be Flora, our Grass Type Gym Leader (or ex gym leader).

I fixed them all a long time ago. I just didn't mention it here. I just brought it up because someone mentioned that Amber was easy. She's a lot tougher now with the right EVs!! But she still might be easy if you decide to go for Rain Dance. Who knows? The balance in this version is going to be so different.
can we talk about how i also struggled with amber in the first place

During my Ground mono (also my first contact with Rejuvenation) I struggled with every single Gym Leader after Keta, I mean, even with Eric! Props to Jan for making me struggle using a team full of Ground types against an electric gym.

Anyway, they are nothing special, I didn't even finish Vespiquen.
I used a simple combination of yellow, black and white on Empoleon, but it didn't look good on Piplup/Prinplup.
The thing that I'll probably do is switch the tones a little and remove some details, but I don't think I'll do that lol.
