[Surf glitch in Route 4 + Surf Option Yeeted]

I'm pretty sure I can get through these gaps (looking at other people's playthroughs) but I'm blocked for some reason?  [Essentially blocked from Gastly and TM73 Thunderwave)

 

I've had the easyhms password from the begining as well but after fighting Titania I have to manually go to my party and click surf instead of giving me the option to surf in any water surface. I have tried turning the easyhms password off  or having a Pokemon that actually has Surf but it still doesn't work. By the time I noticed I tried to load my earliest Backup save file but it was still happening.

Other than the passwords I have not edited any of the game files so I'm not sure what the problem is or how it happened.

I believe Chandelure is Ghost/Electric.
I used moves like Flash since it's amplified and spammed the everlasting shit out of Nature Power with Meganium and Aurorus, used her Trick Room against her. But oneshotting the Corviknight is essential. Personally I used Heat Rotom's Overheat but anything that can OHKO her Corviknight is fine.
Nature Powers works since both  Sacred Sword & Moonblast hits hard and against her team. 
Meganium Crest because of reduced damage and the recovery at the end of each turn.
 

[Are Nature mints available?]

Starting a new Intense mode playthrough and wanted to know if nature mints are available and if so when? 
Also is this decent for a scorbunny? 
I'm a little iffy when it comes to whether IVs vs Natures.
