If i remember correctly, yes, because you can simply walk over the tile.

I discovered a pretty huge error when playing through Episode 16. In the Devon Building, after being zapped unconscious (right before you wake up in the room where you can heal and switch your pokemon, right before you have your first fight with your friend) you can still use an Escape Rope to exit the building, but can not re-enter to proceed with the Story. You can re-enter the Devon Building, but the tile that made you go unconscious is not active anymore (at least that was what happened to me) and there is no other way to go back to the next area, unless i simply didnt find a way.

 

If this is correct, and i didnt fail myself, that would be a rather fatal error, if you dont have any older savefiles.
