Day 2

The day starts with the church's bell ringing. Normally, this is nothing new but the nuns and acolytes of the local church is going around town asking for everyone to gather at the town square. There, they are announcing the coming of a new priest, Nano.

"I had gathered you here today to introduce myself to you," Nano said.
"I'm the newly appointed priest for this town. I had come here for a mission. That is, to liberate this town from the lurking dangers from the shadows,"

Lykos was listening among the crowd, listening to Nano talk. He isnt a firm believer of religion so nano's words just simply sounds empty to him. When suddenly,

"That bored looking fella over there. What is your name?," Nano said pointing at Lykos.

Night 1

The series of events all started when Jace, a confident looking guy, was out playing cards in a certain bar. To your average folk he looks really at home gambling at the bar. What they didnt know is he is using his acute sense of smell and hearing and silently muttered to himself, "ah vampires are here. Looks like I have to prepare for every odd night,"

"What did you say?" asked one of the players who is playing cards with him.
"Nothing, I already won," and Jace stood up dropping a royal flush...

Meanwhile, in some unassuming house, a mass of flesh is undulating and slowly forms an androgynous looking human. Its name is Bok. Bok, who had been living peacefully with the primitive primates, got attracted here by some chanting. Bok usually responds to this calls as Bok secretly tries to protect the primates from the descent of unknowable horrors. However this time, Bok sensed that the evils lurking here are connected to the children of the moon and the descendants of the bloodsuckers. So this time, in order to protect the primates, Bok snapped its fingers and two certain people got swallowed by a twisting dimension and got swapped positions!

Alistair the werewolf was praying to the moon when he suddenly felt dizzy and found himself standing nearby a mansion in the middle of the town while falirion, a rich gentleman, also felt dizzy and found himself standing in the middle of a farmland. While both of them knows the town like the back of their hands, it was certainly peculiar to found themselves in a totally unrelated place. Alistair thinks that this must be a sign given to him by the moon goddess so he thought of it as a blessing. Meanwhile, falirion immediately identified that this was a work of an ancient being. After all, he is also one. What he found curious is that he sense no malice from the power being used. Usually beings that can exert such powers very malevolent being so for now, he take note of it...

In a small tavern near the outskirts of the town, Aldo, a shabby looking guy, was ranting on a guy named Astra who is surprisingly doesn't really stand out even though the former is really being loud.

In a dark alley near the tavern, Lia, a young kid, was playing by himself when suddenly he got approached by a seductive lady named Hypurr.

"Are you lost kid?" Hypurr asked. Lia being alerted of the stranger, suddenly ran away back to his house.

Nano, the newly appointed priest in town, secretly went out of the church to use the blessed tool provided by the church which detects monsters in its vicinity. He saw lykos, the town watch, doing his patrols so he tried to follow him secretly and hide in a dark corner before activating the tool. From there, the tool didnt have any reaction which implied Lykos is a human.

While walking on his usual patrol path, Lykos suddenly saw a hooded person vanishing out of thin air only to be replaced by a rich looking old man. He identified this person as falirion. He got confused for awhile but for a guy like him who dont believe in myths and magic, he just simply assume that he was tired and didnt noticed the gentleman earlier. He decided to observe falirion for awhile and noticed that there's a strong scent of herbs in the air. Looking around he found Nicki, the local healer doing something with the herbs nearby. As he isnt really well versed with this kind of things he just assume thats normal and not related to magic whatsoever.

Caimie the vampire slayer was standing on top of a roof of a certain mansion. he was looking at a certain window inside the mansion in which Candy was sleeping. Caimie knows that vampires tend to pose themselves as nobles considering their pride and accumulated wealth through out their long life span so he decided to investigate Candy, who was a visiting noble. However, based from what he has observed and from the tools on his arsenal, he merely shaked his head and head off to the night as it seems Candy is merely a human.

Meanwhile, In a dark room somewhere, Bean instructed his followers to secretly spread propaganda against candy...

In a dark corner of the town proper, Kiet, a child, was sulking cuz his prank didnt seem to trigger... After awhile, his eyes gleamed red and suddenly shown his true nature: a vampire. He tried to attack a burly man walking down the street. To his surprise however the guy rapidly turn into bats.

"Name's Drago. I didnt expect to see a kin here tonight," the burly man said with eyes gleaming red.

Chronicles of Dark Ages 3

Hello everyone! This is Dee tryna put some activity here in the club to let you forum lurkers know that mafia club is alive and well its just that we moved games to be discord centric now. Anyway, this thread is meant to just put a summary of the events that transpired on Dark Ages 3, a mafia game held in discord so that the records of it isn't lost to everyone... Well for as long as this forum exists that is. Anyway let start shall we?

The Roles:

As this is a game of mafia these were supposedly the roles for this game. Take note not every role was actually used in this game.

Spoiler

1. Priest Townsmen Exclusive role -visit someone at night, you will be able to determine if they are a monster.

2. Acolyte -you know who the priest is. you become the priest when he dies. -can only exist if priest is in-game

3. Fanatic -Kill someone at night. If they arent a monster, your ability is forfeited. -bypasses werewolves immunity if used by vampires at fullmoon.

4. Healer -Visit someone at night, they will survive all attacks that night.

5. Heretic -Once per game, target a dead at night, you can gain their ability permanently. -You always appear evil on investigations

6. Assassin -You can target someone at day phase and guess their role. If you got it correctly, they die. Otherwise, you die.

7. Executioner- Once per game, you may reveal yourself and ping the host to lynch someone. This lynch ignores the votes of that day phase. The day doesnt end immediately and the host will not confirm you.

-when you are already revealed, for the rest of the game, your vote counts as 2.

8. Gambler -At the start of the game choose even or odd, you cant be killed on those night phases.

9. Survivalist -You have two lives.

10. Courtesan -you can block someone at night from doing any action.

11. Wolfsbane(Non-werewolf exclusive) -You cant be killed by werewolves factional kill.

-You can visit someone at night you'll be able to tell if they are a werewolf. (roles that forces them to look evil will look like werewolf to you.)

-If a werewolf attacks you (factional kill), they will not be able to transform for the rest of the game. (wolves that can no longer transform will look human to you.)

12. Vampire slayer(Non-Vampire exclusive) -If a vampire attacks you, youll kill each other. (unless youre a wolf and its fullmoon then youll survive)(this also triggers when role ability of a vampire is used to attack you)

-visit someone at night, youll kill them if they are a vampire. (roles that look evil will always be attacked by you)

13. Mysterious Old Man -when you die, you may give someone an extra life.

14. Drunkard -You will always randomly block someone. You dont know yourself who you blocked. You cant be blocked.

15. Witch -You can target two people at night, force them to target each other if applicable. They will know they got controlled.

16. Magician -You can visit someone at night, you will be swapped with them and all targets to you and them will be swapped as well.

17. Ancient Spawn -You can target two people at night, they will be swapped with each other and actions done to them shall be swapped.

-This role is only available if the pagan role is in-game

-will never look evil in investigations.

18. Pagan -You always look evil in investigations.

-When you die, choose one person. That person's vote will permanently be meaningless.

--While that person is alive, you can vote in your personal chat and your vote shall be counted instead.

--While that person is alive your voting power will permanently increase by 1 every odd night.

--While that person is alive, you dont join deadchat or be able to see what the other dead can see

19. Boy who cry wolf -Once per game, cancel the night phase.

20. Apprentice -At the start of the game Choose one: Witch, Courtesan, Healer. Youll know who they are. -If they die you inherit their role. -can only exist if the 3 choices are in game.

21. Peeping Tom -Visit someone at night, youll know who they visit.

22. Town Watch -Visit someone at night, Youll know who visited them.

23. Oracle -Visit someone at night, when you die, their role and faction shall be revealed. Persists even on day phase.

24. Contrarian -Your vote counts as -1 (negative 1) -You may visit someone at night, for the next day phase their vote becomes -1 (even if they have a voting power higher than 1 it will still be reduced to -1)and your vote becomes zero(no value) for that day phase. You cannot use this ability on consecutive nights.

25. Prankster -visit someone at night. If they perform any action it will fail and their action shall be revealed to you. only affects roles and doesnt affect factional kill.

The Players:

Since this is based from actual events that happened in the game, I call em players but since I'm planning to write this summary as if its some sort of story, then think of em as casts and the descriptors use on them doesn't represent them but the roles they are playing.

1. Nano4 the priest- he is an old member of the church entrusted to liberate this lands from monsters. As a pious follower he accepted this mission knowing that great peril comes with it.

2. Bean the contrarian- For a greater part of his life, he had wanted to expose the corruption of the church. However, through his deeds and propaganda, he became rather infamous...

3. Astra the assassin- while his religious order have clashes with the church, both of em have a common enemy: the monsters. Thus, he were sent here to suppress the common evil for the sake of humanity.

4. Kiet the prankster vampire- he had been turned to a vampire at such a young age, perhaps its also the reason as to why he still have tendency to be playful even though his actually one of the elderly vampires...

5. Alistair the pagan werewolf- While werewolves arent exactly a religious bunch, they still do honor an ancient god, the primordial moon goddess. He is one of the few wolves who still actively give offerings to the moon... little did he know he actually attracted a particular ancient being...

6. Jace the Gambler werewolf- He is well known in the werewolf community to be really reckless always having fights and sometimes almost always being caught by humans but little did they know that he is a shrewd one. He only take risks that he know he will actually win.

7. Lykoshand the Town watch- He had been living in this town for so long, 'there aint no monsters round this parts' as he always say. Little did he know that the legends are actually true.

8. Aldo the drunk- His life is in shambles. He's deep in debt, his wife left him, and the horse he's using for his carriage is dead. Every night he drink himself to sleep hoping that somehow, maybe he can actually become a hero... except that he always bother the neighbours at night before he actually sleep.

9. Candy the executioner- She came from a well known family of executioners. While she couldve have just stayed on her own town and continue executing criminals there... She's craving for the thrill to actually execute a monster even knowing that this feat maybe dangerous. So when she heard that the church is ordering the liberation of certain town from the clutches of monsters, she eagerly signed up for the cause.

10. Bok the Ancient Spawn- It's originally an appendage that got cut offed from an unspeakable horror. Through countless eons, it learned how to transform and live with the primitive life forms quietly. On a particular night, when the stars aligned, a strange chanting had brought it here...

11. Drago the Survivalist vampire- For his long life as a vampire, he had a lot of times being hunted down so he had gained a few tricks up his sleeve.

12. Hypurr the Courtesan- She is one promiscuous beautiful lady. While she is one of the wives of the local lord, she still don't hesitate to wrap her hands around rather well known people or people she fancy...

13. Lia the Boy who cried wolf- He's a kid whose parents always tells him stories about vampires and werewolves and that he shouldn't come out at night as they might take him away. He thinks that they were just scaring him but little did he know that his parents were survivors of the werewolves attack and the threat is actually closer than he thinks...

14. Caimie The vampire slayer- He have traveled far and wide through out this lands due to the orders of the church to eliminate all vampires. He had stumbled upon this little town when tracking a particular vampire, however little did he know that there are other dangers lurking here...

15. Nicki the healer werewolf- As a werewolf she is thought to be an oddball for deciding to become a healer. But for her, she just simply prefer her food to be healthy before being slaughtered...

16. Falirion the mysterious old man- He is a descendant of a certain race that passes life force down to another being. When their host have an offspring of their own the life force shall be passed down to the child and eventually will become him again... While this place is particularly dangerous, he thought to himself that a strong body shall come from a place like this. Will his gamble actually be worth it?

Background:

After the continues victory of the werewolves, the humans remain defiant as to not get slaughtered mercilessly. The vampires suffering shame and defeat cannot forgive the insolence of the wolves and so they return with more sinister tricks up their sleeves...

Well wasting ur shit opening spoilers was fun for me thats for sho. However, doing that shit is time consuming so kek. Well that said, i also give eric the benefit of the doubt since he is being forceful and claims lia is indeed cult leader. But if I was right, i cant really judge him for lying to town while he is townie cuz i also did lie to town while being a townie in a different game. Well if somehow Lia still survives the fcking lynch then i really suspect its no longer an item but a role ability. If it was hers then i honestly doubt her cult leader cuz thats way too many powers in one role. If it was somebody else's role then what is it some sort of lynch saver role? Why bother saving a killer third party? are you a maf by some chance?

Well either way if lia gets lynched and no disciples flip im honestly suspecting how the voting for role reveal and lynch vote was created. Well honestly a lot of thing are happening and new year's is supposed to be a time to relax for most so i find it hard to be certain in a lot of things.

Blanket I'll tell you now: if I do get a gun I will be shooting Nick without hesitation if somehow Lia is not cult simply cuz i feel something is not right. Then again, you could also say something aint right with me since I havent done shit yet and im still alive past day 5 its a record for me honestly. Normally im already past my in game expiration.

For some other thoughts seriously assuming jester is one and inquisitor the other, where are the other 2 killer roles? Also, what happened to mafia kills last night assuming that was a jester kill and the other was lia's "eraser".

So the ancient being is revived and looking at soup's reveal there is a mythical being as well. Whats next ultra rare being? rare being? common being? feels gacha yo. Lia, tbh with ya i havent voted yet simply cuz i feel like the timing was kinda too convenient. I mean cult leader is friggin big accusation for starters so i actually expect it as a post opener but then again nick said he won the guessing game shit. Honestly i have no idea if that is true but since he gave away that you or ali is third party, im guessing eric was able to confirm something with that but... yeah fck this shit my conjecture has many ways to be wrong. heck in my own world i actually feel like there is some sort of uncanny synchronicity between nick and eric. Wow Im late to the party but a lot of things are happening. Again. This night is somewhat eventful for me so let me break things down.

1. I got blocked.

2. My keys were stolen (in game i mean.)

For starters, i have no fcken clue who blocked me but if you just want mein attention, luv u too honey #nohomo. Second, someone stealing mein keys means we have a thief or a ninja in our midst. Im banking on thief cuz ninja is a really good killer so i doubt theyll just be resolving for petty thievery. Now you may ask why do i even have keys, I'll leave this one to imagination.

Believe me this shit doesnt sound believable to me either its easier to just ~~screenie ma whole shit channel than explainin it~~ but anyway rather than not talking about it its much better to reveal a mafia info so i hafta get it out rather than leave you guys unaware.

I believe the 9 non town is plausible considering my rule of thumb: 1/3rd of populace is non town. As for actual distribution i have no fckin clue.

Less tangible speculation:

Im tryna run simulations in ma head on how to brick this game. Now i have no actual clue as what are the roles even so my assumption is prolly off. Im thinking its actually possible to exploit revives assuming the only killers are mafia. lol there is a extreme possible loop that will cause the eventually of mafia killing everyone at least once so its gonna be eventual that theyll be lynched one by one lol. Well but most prolly since this got approved everyone should prolly have a chance at this game. also i think skipping n1 and going straight d2 is prolly beans way to ensure at least one is dead which would help for anti bricking purposes but not sure cuz it doesnt explains the question why are roles non existent in d1 in the first place.

So my hot take ill put it in spoiler since this is purely speculations with no way of backing things up and you lil shits can sleep at night without worrying about it:

ya know what, fine since there is still some who are way too inactive imma just speak the idea i have in my mind hopefully this game finishes early with it.

You know what guys lets just help the scholar finish the game. my proposal is this equalize the bandwagon in equal parts. why? lemme give you an example for the current scheme (as while im writing this the lynch candidates is just bok, astra and kiet) lets assume 3+1 evil (assuming actress is alive and the plus one is jihad) lets assume the mafs actually was able to divide themselves one for each bandwagons.(hopefully this isnt the case thats why i fcking waited last moment for this (last moment for me cuz phase change is while im away) but anyway ill assume the worse)

so we will have 2/4(the jihad will not know who among us is maf so he has no choice in this) +1/4 +1/4 evil in a bandwagon so if we are lucky the lynch that passes is the 2/4 but if not we still have the 1/4 chance to lynch someone and thats a lead already cuz its good that peeps already have hunches we could work on. Tbh this is much better on a dual bandwagon only but as i see that stray bean post i hafta considere it as off my time tryna post this long ass analysis.

Ya see in a dual bw, the jihad and the maf has no choice it would have been 3/6+1/6 or the other only pussibility is 2/6 +2/6. on the first possibility even if we get the 1/6 it just means we have 5 peeps we can trust and the other side we have half of em evil. well there are other combination but i dont see any of em as a losing ground combination.

Anyway we have about 3+1(jihad)/12 who are evil so that makes it 1/3 chance to hit evil. well 1/4th if the actress or whatever that roles name is dead.

well opinion on third parties? well first of all the that terrorist or whatver ya call it must git eliminated thats for sho. As for the other third party, well the other veteran players know my rule of thumb: i never trust em. Specially they can change allegiance at a drop of a hat. Since I would be out for work after this post and I'm pretty sure the phase change is just the right time while i am driving home, I will gonna do this now even if its the wrong timeline. Afterall, I had already flipped the table many times whats the worst that could happen when I flip it once more?

You see, ever since day 1, I could have already immortalized( I will get to this later dont worry) myself even if the sniper is alive but I just didnt do it for 2 reasons: Respect for the host and cuz I really wanted to buttheads with nick. I rarely play now and my instincts are kinda dull but I would still like to have a jab against this guy. If I immortalized myself, then we wont be having a good chance for a heated debate so i stopped myself from doing so.

Day 2

Man, nick is fckin dead and now my goals are ruined. so time for plan b: find a beacon that the town could follow and from there I can fckin exit. Well, I dunno if stars are alignin fer me or what but fali said something highly unlikely fer me: the vigi attacked. Ya see from there, I already figured out I should fckin use that to lure the vigi out in the thread via giving mix signals that im pretending to be them cuz from there they could lead town and none would be able to dispute on top of that maf cant target them easy as long as doc is alive and since sniper is dead they have nothing to be afraid off and just go out into the open. But yikes they haven't revealed and its nearing phase change so I just need to put more bait for the next day, so that either maybe they can put me out of my misery or at least this sets the next day phase until suddenly...

Day 3

Y I K E S, the vigi is fckin dead and its ali!? (man, my ego tells me this is just a way to frame me up but highly unfort for them I had already set the field up for plan B version2.0 get the vet and turn them as the fckin beacon!!!) From there, I know some people will be highly sus and viola two peeps i could easily exploit under a guise. From there I just go passive aggressive stunt cuz I know I will be striking a nerve soon. Lo and behold an over eager mofo acting like a hero bringing the 'evidences' which i actually spread for my own plans(honestly even if he didnt bring this I would bring it up myself). easy to exploit as they come. I only answered his allegations with a facade cuz I wanted this to be more natural as they come. From there, yo ma bois unwittingly(?) bitin on the hook. Whatever, since they bitin I'll be slowly guiding them to the conclusion i want: boat is the fuggin vet1!1!!1!one. Cuz from there the real vet should be outing themselves to swoop in and eliminate this mofo villain. And again, they will be solidified as town and they can be the beacon to guide this poor souls who have no friggin direction.

Well, anyway as I dont like to be branded by blanket as a gamethrower i will provide my personal suggestion to this game, this whole shenanigans of mine is actually just a show for you guys to see that its much better to just go force peeps to roleclaim thats why I had said on earlier post that you should vote like you mean it. (yeah im instigating mass roleclaim at this point) afterall, there are no more stop gaps that prevents this, the doctor is still in and the town can still make it even if the 3 evils are still alive. Now you might say thats anti fun but you see its more efficient. And sides, 2 of those guys are gonna be forced into RC'ing(heck one of em might flip as a town role) and one gonna clean someone to pretend to be that role so you can still play detective for a few days. Heck i bet one of their CC choices gonna be doctor just to kill doctor but at that point its pointless cuz again everyone is revealed. And sides, as far as i can tell not everyone is really active for whatever reasons its the same peeps speaking over and over again.
