I'll replay the whole game with Rowlet as my starter
-
One vote for Alakazam, it can OHKO many neutral opponents.
-
I dont think the chances of getting a mon from police egg are equal. I got Togepi 3 times out of 5 runs, the other one was Drilbur and Starly.
-
I dont think the gyn leaders team will change much. They will stay the same or just swap 1 alolan in, like Aya with a Salazzle.
-
This is a great idea. And you shouldn't have to pay money whenever you give or take your pokemon to daycare, either. Instead, let people pay for every egg they receive. About 10.000 pokedollar per egg, perhaps.
Makes Reborn economy great again. Ame for President !!!

Okay.. Now e17 will be pushed back till gen 8 come...

I believe Z-moves will start from E17 itself coz it's a part of the new Gen 7 battle mechanics. Starting from Titania.
It may be earlier in the games, such after Luna or even at the beginning of the games. And if we continue from E16, we will automatically get it from Adrienn's room like how we got the Field Effect dex in E16, hopefully.

Yes and there are ghost types just before him... either way, I said Flo bc she's not bypassable with a well placed volt-absorb pachirisu (Like Julia) but doesn't let you build up in mons. I found a personal hell in Charlotte in my first playthrough for example.
I have Koffing and Kricketot, so Floriana is easy for me. My toughest battles was Shade's and Blake's in my first playthrough.

So by now we would be two release date questions from the game releasing when AI is at top competitive level. If Florinia already gave we nightmares, she will now make us cry blood.
Flobot is easy. SHADE gonna be the true nightmare.

I was expecting to play E17 this Christmas. Now I have to wait till next Christmas (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻)

I believe all alolan form pokemon will be available at some point. Like alolan Sandshrew maybe found in the cave near Shade's gym, while alolan Vulpix/Ninetales is on top of Ametrine cave or from a sidequest near that point.
-
My Roserade's Petal Dance 1HKO 2 of Ciel's pokemon. I couldn't believe in my eyes when that happened. One of my surprisingly easiest gym battle.

Any thoughts on the importance of the story we're told when we start the game?
The story was told at the very beginning of the game, and there is only 1 controllable character in this game, other than the MC, that is Melia.
Melia has a shiny Zoroark that can transform into human shape. The Pangoro gonna be the MC at some point in the future I think.

Crawli's fight was pretty easy to me. My team was Lycanrock, Talonflame and Alolan Raichu.

My Excavalier became a god when Radomus used Trick room

COREY. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME
I've done quite a few runs over the years, but I've only successfully kept two runs due to Corey. His battle has always proven to be difficult for me because of the following reasons:
(1) Field - both of his fields either poison your team to death or damage it to death
(2) Pokemon - his pokemon are strong in their own regards, and although they aren't exactly hard hitters, they slowly pick off damage.
(3) Ace - Crobat destroys your team easily due to them already being weak from battling his other mons. Crobat easily picks off everything you have.
(4) Available Pokemon - The available choices don't exactly help; I can only name a few which could prove to be useful against him.
I recently beat him with a team of Meowstic, Pachirisu, Kricketune, Koffing, Roselia, Loudred. Obviously, Meowstic is the MVP here. And I took Crobat out with Koffing's selfdestruct.
My hardest battle is Kiki. I still having trouble defeating her though I have Granbull and Meowstic on my team.

How about Bronzong with Trick room? This will make Aegislash a living nightmare.

Like the others said, you're a bit too early in the game to really have to worry about team building. Monferno, Blitzle and Espurr should all serve you quite well at least for the next few badges (and even further than that for Monferno). The others are pretty useless though. Keep Zigzagoon in the party only if it has pickup.
That being said, there are some mons you could look for in Obsidia and its surroundings to improve your team.
Klink is available as soon as you reach Obsidia, in a small portion of the underground railnet. Its pure Steel typing makes it useful for leaders 2, 3 and 4.
Consider adding a Poison type like Gulpin or Ekans to your team. It will also help for leaders 2, 3, 4, not to mention a certain fight coming right up against a peculiar kind of pokémon.
One of the Fighting types found in the Obsidia Slums could prove useful against leader 2's ace.
Finally, Nidoking is available right before leader 2. Early on it will have a barren movepool but it is an extremely useful pokémon to keep around for the mid-game.
I wanna add Koffing to your poison list, as it has Levitate to cover its Ground weakness, which is very useful on Floriana battle (2nd gym?)

I once beat 3 pokemon of Ciel with my Roserade's Petal Dance. Sometimes a silly strategy can turn out to be an effective one.

You can find it in a cave in rhodocrine jungle. There is a trapped Treeko there too.

I used something to tank until the rain end, like koffing and noctowl, finish her illumise then burn the rest of her bugs with fire (numel or any fire starter with fire pledge)

I got freeze at this point. I fast-forwarded the text after choose 'Yes' to Charlotte and get freeze. And I also realize that there is no backup save on my computer xD Please help me.
