[E18 - Technician isn't boosting Hidden Power]

That's why I created this post, considering the game uses gen VII battle mechanics. The tooltip for Hidden Power even states it has 60 base power.

[E18 - Technician isn't boosting Hidden Power]

So, I have a Roserade with the ability Technician and with the move Hidden Power Ice. I noticed that Hidden Power wasn't dealing much damage so I switched the Roserade's ability to test and the damage didn't change, meaning that Hidden Power isn't getting boosted by technician when it should since it's a 60 base power move.

[Trouble with Charlotte]

Flash fire Typhlosion with Eruption and Flash fire Arcanine with Heat Wave absolutely wreck that gym.

 

Even though they use fire moves, the boost that the field, the sun and Flash fire provide is enough to make you deal massive damage to even pokemon that resist fire. I think only one of her mons has flash fire to resist this tactic, at least in episode 16. I don't know what her team is for episode 17.

[[Fixed] E17 - Phantom Force is blocked by Spiky Shield]

I was fighting against a Chesnaught with my Gourgeist and when my Phantom Force was going to hit the foe's Chesnaught was able to protect itself with Spiky Shield. Phantom Force should, in fact, hit through all protection moves like Protect, King's Shield, Baneful Bunker and Spiky Shield.
