I figured it out. you can revert this save to episode 15 and back. so far no reprecussions.

The police officer who wants to trade for the growlithe egg is missing. Was he removed in the latest episode?

So I'm playing catchup with all the stuff I missed from the previous episodes. I caught the Solosis just now and as I'm trying to go down the hole after pushing in the boulder. Every time I follow the boulder down I'm stuck. I cant move or pull up my menu to use an escape rope. If I fly out, it resets the boulder that freezes me every time. From my understanding I need to complete the puzzle to get to Spectral Kiki. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? It looks like there haven't been any fixes to the crash.
