TIL that I spend way too much time following one TV show. At minimum 12 hours a week.

I'd do either a Fire or Dark team.
Fire:- Blaziken (Fire | Fighting)
- Talonflame (Fire | Flying)
- Chandelure (Fire | Ghost)
- Volcarona (Fire | Bug)
- Magmotar (Fire)
- Rotom (Fire | Electric)
My puzzle would be based on pushing rocks into volcanoes to stop them from erupting. Once a third rock is pushed into the final volcano, a doorway opens up into a cool room where I will be standing in there. With a click of my fingers, the arena lights up and surrounded by a wall of flames.
Dark:
- Greninja (Water | Dark)
- Malamar (Psychic | Dark)
- Scrafty (Fighting | Dark)
- Drapion (Poison | Dark)
- Bisharp (Steel | Dark)
- Honchcrow (Flying | Dark)
My dark puzzle would be based off having to find a key. Each room has various Pokemon which are to be approached and a battle ensues with that Pokemon. One Pokemon will have a key which leads down into the basement of the Gym, where I will be in supreme darkness.

Gen 4 is pretty much my favourite generation of all time.
Not because of the story because that wasn't it's strong point imo, or it's slow gameplay which I do acknowledge for it being a huge flaw and set back; but because of the Pokemon introduced (Roserade, Lucario, Giratina, Darkrai to name a few), the characters involved (CYNTHIA, Elite 4, Team Meteor as a whole, Gym leaders esp Wake and Looker for sure) And the whole map was memorable and never ending. The features the game had, the interactivity at the time, ONLINE WAS A THING, and everything else under the sun. It was just perfect for me. It was the first game I saved my pocket money to get because parents are highly against Pokemon.
The soundtrack was brilliant, I rather it than Hoenn's trumpets.
I can't fault it. There is a reason I have the timer stuck at 999.99 on my original Platinum save.

Banned for suggesting a Magnezone as a Pokémon that should be on my team when I have an adorable electric sheep already called Bailiee. She is my absolute munchkin darling angel who helped sweep so many Gym leaders.
With that said though once I get this bloody Lucario and breed it to get better IV's, I may invest in a Magnezone. Should be noted that I have never had one in my party before. (Had Magneton back in FR incentive upon a time.) Guide dang it approaching.
