    Uhhh...

Joking aside, I'd have to say I didn't really accomplish that much in this episode compared to the last but I'd to sadly say 6-0ing Adrienn with a Metagross. Without it Xe wiped me out almost effortlessly with Gardevoir. There was a lot of little stuff to do and find which was fun (even if a bit of it was broken in the beta). It was a fun one though.

Lol is Metagross that strong? Time to fins out when we are able to face Titania

A little bit of advice for EV spreads. There are 3 types of standard spread; Wall/Tank, Fast sweeper, Bulky sweeper. For a Wall/Tank spread what you want to do is have 252 (max) HP and then 252 in 1 of the defencive stats (this is to either help is weakness in a stat (like defence on chancey/blissey) or to further increase a defence (special defence on an umbreon)) and then the final 6 ev's in either the other defence stat or in its attacking stat. For a Fast sweeper you want 252 in speed, 252 in its attacking stat and the final 6 is HP. For a Bulky sweeper you want 252 in HP, 252 in its attacking stat and the last 6 in either of the defences. The reasons for this is though split defences/HP may sound nice in alot of cases they just don't hold up as because you split them you aren't great in either just alright in both and as later game gym leaders have propper EV training very often the split defences just aren't enough to withstand attacks.

This actually makes sense but feels like it requires some game knowledge which I dont have. Next time when struggle with the Gym leader i will try do in this way, thx.

For me, I have two big accomplishments.

      Hide contents

The first was finally beating Samson's stupid fighting team! I like going in under leveled, as it often adds a challenge. As such, my Pokemon were ten levels under his. He kept destroying me, and I needed a way to beat him. Because of this, I decided to lead off with Leavanny and go for Nature Power, which turned into Acrobatics. This brought his first Pokemon down to red, allowing me to bring in my Noivern. Noivern then proceeded to use Air Slash with a Metronome equipped in order to decimate everyone, while also flinching the Lucario to secure the win. That felt awesome, as I really had to think how I would win with that team.

The second accomplishment was against Adrienn. My team was bad against the Fairy type, as I had a Scrafty and Noivern on the team. Because of this, Scrafty was benched for Bronzong. Once again, everyone was ten levels under. I started the fight by having Noivern use Hurrican to change the field. Bronzong would then go for Trick Room. This made Heavy Metal Bronzong and Magnezone the fastest on the field, allowing them to decimate with Heavy Slam and Flash Cannon. When Bronzong went down, I just had to use Discharge while Swampert went for Rock Slide. It was another instance where I had to use what I had on me in order to win. Since then, my team has been trained up, but I was really proud of my team both times.

To me it would deafeating Adrienn with my stall team which focusses around toxic spikes. Defensive mons tend to be not good in doubles because of focus (and less toxic spikes victim) and the field heavily disrupts my strategy. Luckely I prepared for this match in E15 and my team pulled through.

Yeah Adrienn was hard, ge was actually one of the toughest Gym leader for me, the reason why I was able to win against him is because I somehow flinched him 3 times in a row with rock slide. But that was when my EV and IV were completely garbage. Cant wait to face the new gym leader

I'm only two badges in, but I think beating both leaders on my first shot was pretty good. I did only win with one Pokémon with minimal HP each time, but that 7HP was the different between victory and loss. I doubt I'll continue my streak, but it's fun while it lasts.

Also, PWNing those steel gears of sadness with a team of 4 members, all with a 12ish level shortfall (and no fire type). I was so proud of those guys when we pulled through!

Wow, even that I took fire type as starter I could not beat the Florida in first try nice job. You probably will struggle with some gym leader later on in the game for example the third leader, poison type, that person made my buy alot revive candies

  4. So...since the episode 17 development seems to going smoothly, what was your biggest accomplishments in episode 16?

For me I traveled through the whole Reborn map with itemfinder and mined every single mineral I can find, to be able to obtain those damn Heart Scales, and also I have first time in my entire life tried EV and IV trained Pokemons. To be honest, before I played this game, I did not even know that EV and IV existed. Here is my main team:

Lol, yeah I know, those IVs not nearly perfect and the items are quite weird to. However I am satisfied, I spent alot time to train them because I did not have a good Ditto, it was fun i guess.

Also, free to drop some tips for my items or EVs :D

  5. I want to get acid armor through breeding for my Goodra, which makes me need Skrelp, however since the Reborn City is rebuilt there is no poisonous lake or anything similar. Can someone pls tell me where I can get Skrelp? Thx
