    @Paperblade we can agree to disagree, maybe if the gym leaders had more theme oriented rather than type oriented, then there could be a compromise between the 2. That or maybe we could have Victoria stop blocking us each time we fight a leader that she decides to be concerned with(jk). The whole thing with monotype rivals is that it's a something new compared to every other rival in the mainstream games except for N since he change his team depending on the mons in the adjacent routes. tbh Samson just isn't a leader to be interested by, he doesn't have anything other than his banter with Ciel and Terra. yeah his battle could be challenging due to the big-top arena field but i don't think Victoria hampers  Samson since i don't they used a lot of the same mons. A batlle can be good despite fighting a similar type multiple times but it depends on the ai and your decisons and the variety of mons in a team.

    I kinda hate that the mono teams were just thrown out the window by the time we entered route 1 in E16 and even more now that they aren't mono, it made rival battles unique in the way that usual rival battles aren't, at least by the time we fight everyone out of their monos in e16, there's a reason( head cannon or not). Fern gave his up because he's an cocky jerk who only appreciates power, which his types don't give a lot of by the time we reach randomus.  Cain ends adopting his oshawott/popplio after saving from being stuck at the lighthouse. many people theorized that Victoria raised a togekiss in order to have an ace against solaris since she's gunning for him after killing kiki

    @Alaris yeah the badge won't be invalidated but I feel like reshiram path Amaria is gonna join team meteor, there's nothing stopping her and while she is battling her own problems and demons, I think we've seen that Amaria would much rather not confront those issues and just stay in her nice world, but instead of committing suicide she gets recruited by Lin to join team meteor in order to see a new world where she can be happy.

    @Seehan I understand what Amaria is going through especially as someone who did suffer from depression and still suffers social anxiety; however, do you understand her motive of why she tries to kill us? She wants to drown us because of a truth that she knew about and tried to cover up, she wanted to keep up the facade, she wanted to keep Titania with her despite the lack of feelings. all in all, She didn't care about anything other than herself in that moment. She didn't care that we're probably the only trainer that can be champion or that we have been there fighting with her and for reborn for the start, She didn't even think about the consequences of her actions. She just wanted her peace at the expense of basically everyone's future. So yeah Amaria's a selfish bitch, but not only for trying to kill us but for the sheer disregard  of the consequences and the need to still be a bitch by choosing the opposite battle format that you select. I feel sorry for her, and her recent actions make her look pretty bad;however, her future actions are what may or may not seal the deal.

    @Gh0stStark she tries to drown us in order to get back at us for "spilling the beans", i didn't read the diary or tell Amaria what's going on because i didn't know. so her trying to drown me and then nonchalantly act like i never was there made me dislike Amaria a lot more than Titania. I think she'll turn to team meteor, reshiram path Amaria has lost everything, I think her dying is too obvious. Her joining team meteor in order to change her current shattered mess and mold into her perfect world where she's free from the other side of her. She'll either die because of Titania pushing her like in the vision shade showed us or live cuz we messed up.

    I feel like a kyurem path would lead to a game over or perhaps a very surprising twist on our motives.

     

    Reshiram is the being of truth.

    Zekrom is the being of ideals.

    Kyurem is the being that needs either one to be "complete", it's a fragment of something more than truth or ideals.

     

    According to bulbapedia, the tao trio ( Zekrom, Kyurem, and Reshiram) are based on the concepts of yin and yang in taoism. Kyurem is more based on wuji though, wuji which is described as the absence of both yin and yang. in deeper research. wuji originally meant "ultimate; boundless; infinite". which might mean we have the potential to be swayed over to the cause of team meteor after something major happens. either way this is an interesting turn for the game and we'll have to proceed our next choices with caution

    Everyone keeps saying it's a punishment because they battled Taka at WTC but i think everyone needs to actually wait for the next episode to truly call this episode bad. Reborn isn't a conventional game and the choices given in the game are no doubt connected. I just feel like everyone's mad because they chose the "wrong" path. however, the zekrom side makes sense when you think about it.  If everything is going as usual, there wouldn't be a big change in story. I think in order to avoid people saying that the episode is empty, they aren't thinking about story wise how there can't be any divergence because they handle a decision lightly plus aside from taka's appearance and subsequent death, everything is the same including the other murder attempts in this episode.

    Well I'm not sure where it is (because the community release is not out yet) but Mimikyu was an AMAZING addition to my team in Moon because of his high speed and attack making play rough and shadow claw deadly in battle. It looks like he's an event though and without any idea when he shows up I would recommend Noivern or Jumpluff Both have proven helpful in my Reborn runs.

    hm interesting might take it up since i can actually raise a noibat through it the rough part

    The reason why : Imo, your team need more type coverage, due to only Magneton and Swampert ( i'm gonna assume that you have Rock Slide )that least not weak against types that doesn't covered by your team. The gym leaders that have tons of coverage moves will rekt your team easily.

    I was actually thinking this but with clefairy being in agate( i haven't gotten there yet) Wigglytuff kind of sucks and i got a ralts but i don't really want to use it because everyone uses gardevoir and i don't want to have to 2 psychic types on the team.
