It's been 84 years... but hi guys. The new pics on page 4 are great! And Cairon, there is no such thing as too much Cain~ We finally got some other leaders drawn too!

I'll be updating the first post and adding the newer pictures towards the top of the list rather than the bottom so the exciting new stuff will be more visible.

    As for my stuff...

I've done like, next to nothing in terms of any art lately. I've been trying to draw but none of my sketches look good and it's just really, really frustrating. Like, why even bother? v.v

I did scan a sketch though so y'all can have that at least. Have some Fern and Vero

Unfortunately, I won't be able to color it 'cause my laptop's screen decided to fritz up so now everything in grayscale with pink lines running down. Don't know when I'll be able to get screen replacement but sketches are cool, right?

I also tried drawing Ari, Decibel, and Elias but they need a lot of work. I'll share those when they're presentable, heh.

Colour that now if you got a new laptop =D

Don't need that gorgeous art gone by without a touchup ♥ @Freya

Ahh Field Efects, The thing that makes Pokemon Reborn so special. It also can make or break certain battles. I will be trying to cover Strategies in every field effect eventually, but here i'll start with the elephant in the room. The Glitch Field.

So the reason this field effect is so big, is because of what it does to everything in general. It basically reverts the battle mechanics to gen 1 mechanics. Namely, The physical special split, and the Special stat being the biggest part of it. How Ame decided to determine the special stat was to choose your higher stat, between special attack and special defense, and combining them together. So if you have 150 sp def and 50 sp att, you get 150 special. This is incredible, due to how fun it is to abuse it in general. How this works is i'm going to list certain Builds for Pokemon and how they will work, and put them into tiers. Now if all of you want to put Pokemon builds on the list that you don't see, feel free to link them in the comments. I'll add them if i feel like they can work well. Keep in mind that there are no Fairy, Steel, and Dark types, and become normal types, and their moves become normal type as well.

The tiers will work like Smogon Tiers, going from S Tier all the way down to A- tier, and Then i'll put gimmicky Pokemon that can be used for some fun.

     S Tier

    706MS.png

    226MS.png

    199.png

Goodra is one of the best, if not the best Pokemon on Glitch field, for a few reasons. The Physical special split is one of the reasons. Giving it tools like Outrage, Power whip, and Aqua Tail becoming Special. Then there is the Special Stat, becoming base 150 special, partnered with Assault Vest, boosting it to 657, along with Powerful moves such as Outrage,Fire Blast, Power Whip, Aqua Tail, Thunder, and Ice Beam as well. It does so much damage, especially since on glitch field, There are no fairy or steel types, Which means there are 0 Resists to Dragon. So it becomes so damn strong that it can basically get 2-3 kills with outrage in one shot.

Mantine is a Very good pokemon, Benefitting from the physical special split, With moves such as Seed Bomb, Surf and Ice Beam to work with. The reason Mantine is so good is because of Amnesia. Amnesia Boosts Mantine's already great base 140 special stat, to 832 after one use. It can be used both Bulky and Offensively, and also has item options such as Salac Berry, Assault Vest, and leftovers. It has swept me 2 times before (Damn you DemICE)

Slowking is one of the Best Trick Room Setters In The Game on this Field. With Options For Coverage such as Fire Blast, Surf, Terrain Boosted Psychic and Psyshock, along with Ice Beam. It is in my Opinion the Best Trick Room Setter in the Game, Taking Hits from The Hardest Hitters in the Game, Such as Goodra, and Mantine at +2. It also has reliable set-up, reliable recovery, Great Coverage options, and many other Great things.

    A+ Tier

    277MS.png

    214MS.png

    080.png

    497.png

    065.png

    637.png

So In A+ Rank, Swellow is one of the two Physical attackers on this rank, also being one of the most reliable Offensive Sweepers in the Game. Along with Guts, It Gets Physical Options such as Boomburst, Brave Bird, U-turn, and even Ominous Wind. With Guts boosted Boomburst, it can OHKO easily the whole tier. It is one of the Fastest pokemon in the Game The Reason it isn't S Rank is due to how quickly it gets worn down. That and being walled by the rock and steel types stopping it immidiately.

Now Heracross is so good due to how is easily kills half the mons that are used. Scarf Heracross is one of the Hardest pokemon to counter in this metagame. Having Coverage for the common pokemon such as Mantine, Swellow, Goodra, and Slowking. Once it gets one kill you better have something to outspeed or tank a hit or you lose so easily. It usually comes in and just gets a kill, and either switches out or sweeps.

Slowbro is basically as good as slowking, but is slightly worse due to being slightly weaker, and is outclassed in roles except for one. The reason why it's even used it the physically defensive set, being able to take moves from swellow, being one of the two good and reliable switch ins to it. The calm mind set is very good, just as good as Slowking, if not better.

Serperior, is very good, benefiting from the physical special split, with moves like Aqua Tail. Also benefiting from the special stat, boosting its special stat slightly, along with the Assault vest, makes it a very scary threat in this game mode. Outspeeding a huge amount of the game, with very potent sweeping capabilities.

Alakazam is a very threatening pokemon in this, with coverage moves like the elemental punches, psychic, and other options. It's good, since it can either chunk, or ohko everything from stab psyshock or psychic, and those that live, can be covered by the elemental punches.

And now Volcarona, probably the best fire type in this field. With moves like Psychic/Zen Headbutt, Wild Charge, Fire Blast, and Giga drain, it can ohko so many things with a quiver dance up. After a quiver dance, it also can live hits from alot of things on the special side, like mantine's surf for example.

    A Tier

    476.png

    465.png

    036.png

    094.png

    139.png

So People Be Sleeping on my boy Probopass aight? That's fine in every other time, but here, oh boy here, never sleep on this monster. It got 150 sp def, so it has goodra special stat, it has options like stealth rock, pain split, volt switch, elemental punches, discharge, and even explosion. Nobody remembers this thing getting the Elemental punches, and it really helps this thing. While it's basically a pure rock type, it's still a very very good option.

Tangrowth is basically the most bulkiest thing in the tier list. Having bulk of 100/125/110 with reliable recovery, giga drain, it just will never die. It's got bulk that can rival Mega Venusaur, and can run an item, such as leftovers, rocky helmet and even assault vest.

Clefable is probably in people's nightmares back in gen 6, where it terrorized the metagame, and never god damn dying. Here, it's really good aswell, while not as good, still a great pokemon. With Cosmic power, giving it effectively +1 in defense special attack and special defense. With BoltBeam coverage (Thunderbolt and Ice Beam) it can really just stall out the whole game honestly.

Gengar is a pokemon that both got better and got worse from the special split, losing elemental punches, but gaining a thing called usable STAB. Here we go back to the days of RSE, and bring back the glory of Gengar. This thing is the best ghost type on here, and by some distance.

Omastar is good from being both a suicide lead, and a sweeper. With good all around bulk, it has 70/125/115 bulk, and has shell smash with coverage moves like Surf and Ice beam. In my opinion i think suicide lead is much better, since we have effectively none in this format that get benefits.

    A- Tier

    477.png

    073.png

    373.png

    130.png

    034.png

Now Dusknoir is a good Pokemon, not as good as gengar, but is still a good Pokemon thanks to trick room. Trick room along with the calm mind set is a very good option. With The Elemental punches and psychic, it poses a pretty big threat to your opponent.

Tentacruel is good thanks to rapid spin, along with things like tspikes to set up. It deals good damage, with moves like giga drain, surf, and ice beam. It takes little damage from the offensive water types, such as mantine, and other threats like serperior.

Salamence is not available, but i don't think it's right to not include it on this list. With moves like hydro pump, dragon pulse/outrage, and fire blast, it can put a real dent in your opponents team if they are not prepared.

Gyarados is quite gimmicky, but i put it here due to it's movepool. Having Surf, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, and Ice beam, it can really put a team in a bad position if they go into their physical wall.

Nidoking is great. With Sheer force Physical Shadow Ball, Earth Power, Sludge Wave, and Rock Slide, it can really tear through a team late game. While also being able to run Special Flamethrower, Ice beam, Thunderbolt, Confusion, and Water Pulse.

    Gimmicks Tier

    185.png

    400.png

    107.png

    234.png

Sudowoodo is complete FIRE (also trash) in this Field. With Calm Mind Wood Hammer, Fire and Ice Punch, it can deal a good amount of damage if you let it set up. It's bad because its calm mind Sudowoodo, i needn't explain myself further.

Biberal is kinda fun, having Simple Amnesia with Thunderbolt Surf and Ice beam, is actually deadly in trick room, but it's not good enough to be anything more than a Gimmick.

    Hitmonchan Gets the elemental punches.

Stantler can be used with Calm Mind Energy ball, Psychic, and thunderbolt for some decent coverage, but isn't all that good.

    Unreleased Category (Gen 7/Legends)

    380.png

    378.png

    720-u.png

All Of these Pokemon Here will be very very broken in this field for there own reasons. Either due to huge Special Defense stats making them have decent offenses, incredible coverage or both, no matter what these mons will be ridiculous once they come out. Until then, we can have decent Balance.

So That's it, it kind of got sloppy around the end of it, if you guys have any suggestions of what i should put on here i will, or any recommendations are appreciated. I'll probably be doing a different field around the weekend, Here's a poll for the options: http://www.strawpoll.me/13261919/r Go Nuts People

Thank you so much dude, that sp attack ev training there was so helpful ♥♥♥♥

  7. OK So For Those Of you trying to battle people on Reborn's Online, and getting destroyed by people, either 1, you didn't iv breed, or 2 you didn't EV train, or even both. So if you asking what are those things well ill explain to you. Iv's are basically individual values for each stat (hp,attack, etc) , which are determined when the Pokemon is generated, and go from 0-31. You may ask, what difference does this make? Well at level 50, at 31 IV's your stat goes up by 15, at level 100, it goes up by 31. In Reborn, you're able to check what they are in the Pokemon's stats menu. Like so:

    Spoiler

    Screenshot_1.png.97fd06f470b9a415d8cb3b975ce7efbb.png

The 0's You see By the Tyrunt are the EV's: Aka Effort Values. Effort values are gained each time you defeat a Pokemon in battle. For Example. Poochyena gives 1 attack EV, and Mightyena gives 2 Ev's in attack. You EV train by killing certain Pokemon to gain up to 252 EV's in 2 stat, or 510 maximum per Pokemon, every 4 EVs you get increases you actual stat by 1 (At level 100) You may ask, why ev train, what gain do you get from doing so. Well, at level 50, with 252 ivs, you have 32 more in that stat, than you would with 0 evs in that stat. At level 100, with 252, you gain 63 in that stat. You want to ev train your pokemon in the stat they will be using the most, for example, if you have a Bastiodon you're not going to give it 252 ev's in sp attack and speed You will be using it where it should be used, in HP and either Defenses. It's Very important to ev train your pokemon, since after Charlotte, every important battle has their whole team ev trained, such as Blake. Now there is the matter of Pokerus, a virus that lasts up to 3-10 days real time, and doubles the evs you gain while having it. Next to the pokemon's name you will see a pink bar that says: PKRS, which means your pokemon is infected. To preserve pokerus on your pokemon, you put it in the pc, where the timer for Pokerus is turned off. To spread pokerus you put the pokemon with pokerus in your 2nd or 5th slot, and battling any pokemon, be it in the wild, or in a trainer battle.

If you already have evs on your mons, in this game, it's not a problem. Go to the 8th floor of the department store, you will get the friendship berries, which lower your evs in certain stats. Also you can go to the move tutor area in the updated peridot ward, and buy the Stat reset discs, for 20k each.

Now we get to the part of where you want to ev train. Ev Training locations are good in reborn because in most cases, there is a spot for most combinations.

HP: Muk, Grimer, and Gulpin in the water treatment center, all give HP evs, The level range is around 50-70, so make sure your mons can beat them without too much trouble.

HP 2: In the Hidden cove, you can fight Ducklett and Audino to gain hp evs aswell. The level range in around 28-42, so at level 35 you should be good to go.

HP 3: In Ametrine mountain, you can fight spheal and sealeo for hp evs aswell. Level range is 55-70, so you should come around level 65, since the spheal/sealeo have sheer cold...

Hp 4: Tanzan Lake diving with Wooper and Quagsire, Shellos and Gastrodon can be used aswell, Stated by Mr. QuestionMarkSpam himself, Mr. QuestionMarkSpam is a good person =D

Attack: In the alleyways in the Peridot Ward, you can fight Poochyena and Mightyena for attack evs. The mon is somewhat common, so finding them won't be too much of a hassle. This is the best spot for ev training in attack and speed at once, since everything in the alleyways except skuntank gives attack or speed evs.

Attack 2: On route 1, you can fight the boufallant, which give 2 attack evs, so around 16 per kill. I recommend doing this by the grand gates, since you can always reset the bouffalant to fight them multiple times.

Defense: The Cave by the grand stairyway is the best spot to ev train in defense. Sandshrew, Geodude and graveler are all common encounters, so you can easily get defense there. Levels range from 20-28, so its very easy to get them.

Defense 2: The cave system on route 3 is also a good spot to ev train in defense, with geodude, graveler, rhyhorn and rhydon giving defense evs, levels range from 55-68, so be high leveled with  water or grass moves and you'll be fine.

Sp  Attack: In the hidden cove, you can fight the oddish and gloom there for Sp attack evs. Levels range from 28-42 aswell, and training shouldn't become too hard.

Sp Attack 2: While this spot is unaccesable after entering agate, it still deserves an honorable mention. The place where you find adrienn is a great spot to ev train for sp att. With Natu, Xatu, Elgem, you get it done pretty fast, but again, isn't accessable after agate.

Sp Attack 3: Shout outs to Mr. QuestionMarkSpam for this one, being slugma and numel in pyrous mountain, from 30-40, you don't have to grind to bad to get to ev train there.

Sp Defense: Azurine lake after entering agate is sadly the only spot i can find for special defense. Ranging from level 45-60, make sure you can defeat the tentacool there easily, or it'll be a pain, trust me.

Speed: The previously mentioned alleyways serve as a good spot to ev train for speed, with purrloin liepard, espurr, meowstic, electrike, manectric and stunky. It's very quick to ev train for speed here, taking only around 10 minutes of killing with pokerus.

Speed 2: Literally ANYWHERE WITH WINGULL.

Speed 3: Another one from Mr. QuestionMarkSpam is Fishing in Tanzan cove with a good rod, luvdisc and basculin are so easy to do, but it is tedious, if you want to do this method, i recommend having ALOT of patience. Trust me, luvdisc heart scale farming is a pain as is.

So hopefully this has proven helpful to you guys, i really wanted to do this, because most people don't know how to ev train in these games, and i love to be able to battle a good team on reborn online, (i'm looking at you DemICE) and have some fun. So all i can say is: Have fun grinding, grinding and GRINDING.
