    I had the same issue. There is a patch released that fixes the problem, but you have to fight that double battle again. I think it's called something like "patch v7". You download the patch, and save it into your folder (it is labeled as "Data"). But you MUST get Patch v7 and NOT another version of v9.

    It didnt get fixed

    How did you do it?

    Go to fighting cafe

    Beat 3-4 Elite trainers

    After you beat 3-4 elite trainers go out the cafe

    You see grunts

    beat them

    read paper

    Give paper to Garret in your house

    Go to Garret old base

    Beat boss

    Get Deino egg

    Gengar Focus/Shadow ball

    Azumarill Belly drum Aqua jet

    Ferrothorn Entry hazards

    Weavile Stab moves and coverage

    Krookodile Moxie Stab moves

    Yanmega Stab moves + speed boost

    5th sludge fragment location

    Spoiler

    You go near the temple of arceus in celia center. Right to the temple you can see a sewer entrance go in and get the key there then go all the way to the upperleft corner of celie center. There is another sewer entrance. Use key and you have the 5th sludge fragment and a pokemon.

    Desolation teams are likely to end up FAR stronger than Reborn and Rejuvenation teams at this point. Caz has been very kind with the new Pokemon selection and items given out in this chapter for some reason. Then again, the VERY frequent major story battles resulting in teams ramming straight into the level cap if you don't raise reserve Pokemon might have something to do with that. This is actually a very good game to experiment with using Pokemon you've never tried using before.

    Yea it leveled up in daycare.
