  1. It looks great. I can't download them from drive though. I says I don't have access to the folder.

Same issue as above, but neato! Did you rename them all yourself? In which case, massive fucking kudos. Actually, massive kudos in either case, but slightly bigger ones for renaming.

oopss i'm sorry i've fixed the sharing issue. really sorry for the mistake.not really lol. actually insurgence use the same rpgxp so the files are the same. you just need to replace them. that's all :)

i'm just the one who figured it out, i did nothing really :)

  2. I just figured a way to change the old icons to the 6th gen icons. Simply extract this file in game folder, replace all. :)

    https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7oL100hAxlld0YxU185RzdCeUE

This is just an example from pokemon reborn. but could also work for pokemon rejuvenation. I took this thing from pokemon insurgence icons, so all the credits to suze for making these icons :)

6th icons are cleaner aesthetically, so I liked them than the default ones. oh, the shiny ones also have different sprite like my Lucario.

    vgjROOL.png

    become like this :)

    wwDFtbs.png

    MmXawCe.png

It also matched with ORAS icons, look at claydol and wailord. :) thank you

  3. It realistically is not that difficult to catch though. With some dedication it only takes a few tries.

uhh not really. beldum catch rate is the same as arceus, and it's shadow pokemon that could hurt himself with low HP. so yeah, every pokemon can be caught with some dedication but maybe in your case, you are lucky to do it in a few tries lol

  4. How did you do it? I couldn't think of anything

I think she has RPG Maker XP and the Rejuvenation PBS files, which can be used to fix save files.

yup Chubb is right :) I can do anything to a save file, including changing pokemon/add items/warping a character. but it would really kill your enjoyment in playing the game, so i refrain from using it except for helping people :)

  5. I'll try to give two pokemon that plays an awesome role in my team.

    224.png(A/A-) Ocritllery The Critmachine Elementalist

+ Solid typing with just two weakness
+ Usable offenses 105/105 with versatile moves it could go mixed
+ Both Sniper and Moody is usable, but i'm not too keen on RNG. But Sniper is the best hands down. 2.25x normal damage for crits instead of 1.5x
+ Available at amethyst mountain with surf/good rod
+ Can learn Ice Beam (hands down best gift for a water pokemon in fangames), Flamethrower (no kidding), Rock Blast (relearn), Bullet Seed (relearn), Signal Beam, Hydro Pump, HYPER BEAM, Charge Beam to increase your Sp.Attack (70% chance) and can get this from TM. Sludge Bomb/Wave for pesky fairy/grass (yeah this thing is going places).
+ Focus Energy + Crit inducing items + Sniper = 100% Crit with 2.25 multiplier on EVERY MOVES stated above. stronger than supereffective moves!
+ Countless Times OHKOed pokemon in gym battles

    - 75/75/75 defenses, can't really tank hits.
    - 45 speed, and it will mostly go last. Can be easily revenge killed.
    - Once trick room TM is out, this thing will be a fucking monster. For now, you need to rely on porygon-z to learn trickroom then this strategy will be viable. Porygon is available very late around episode 7.

    435.png( B+ ) Support Pokemon

+ Available very early (Gearen town grasses)
    + Focus Energy (lv 18) + Slash (lv 22) /Night Slash = 100% Crit
    + Status moves such as

    • Poison Gas (lv 1)/Toxic (lv 38), helped me in dire situations. very useful in legendary battles, helped me to win gym battles countless times
    • Smokescreen (lv 14) to nerf super strong/legendary mons.

+ Suprisingly very diverse movepool :

    • Flamethrower at level 34
    • Play Rough (breed from dedenne lv 42)
    • Utility moves such as Poison Spray to harshly lower Sp.Def legendary/signature pokemon from a gym leader, then switch to special sweeper to defeat it.

    + Aftermath ability
+ Solid Typing Poison/Dark only ground weakness
+ Memento/Explosion for last ditch effort

    - Underwhelming defenses 103/67/61 just avoid ground moves at all costs.
    - Mediocre 84 Speed
    - 71 base sp.att is just terrible, which means, skuntank sludge bomb stab will only yield average damage. and skuntank doesn't learn physical poison type attacks such as cross poison to capitalize its attack stats.

  6. Hey guys,
I have tried to purify beldum, and I am at point where it says; "The door to its heart is open! Undo the final lock."
I have filled all the chambers with normal type pokemon and put beldum in one of them. It has not changed the sitiation one bit.
Is it a bug or is there is something I misunderstood?

yes it's a bug, try to get another shadow pokemon who can be purified ASAP, then you will be needed to choose which pokemon you want to purify. SELECT beldum now.

if you go to purification shrine with just 0 gauge shadow beldum, it won't be triggered. so you need another one.

  7. We have talked a lot of this like hell lol.

Anyway, you need a pokemon so can dig pretty much. Catch a pokemon or Tm of it which can be find.

And so you need to find a ladder. Which is pretty much on a cave named wispy ruins. You need surf, rock climb and rock smash.

For the location, go to goldenwood city. Go go wispy path and surf up. You will see a cave and good luck exploring.

Deufax is a demon something in past with ghost leader narcissa. Pretty much we know now.

Odd house is right and up in goldenwood city.

Really? I'm sorry for posting this kind of thing. Because I searched the "secret grave" and found nothing lol.

Wow thankyou! I've found the ladder btw, now i just need to go there once more. i'm now curious of what kind of TM is that. thanks

  8. inb4 nobody mentioned about secret grave before, so yeah (correct me if i'm mistaken).

I've finished the graveyard-mom-part in amethyst cave peak. i saw this gravestone which have a passageway.

    bTjycke.png
is this thing is the gate to reach secret grave? i tried to hack the game with debug mode from pokemon essential just for curiosity and i saw Jan created a map named
"Secret Grave" but for some reason i can't reach it.

    OzhytoI.png
How do I reach this place legitimately? Is there a connection between that gravestone in grave peak?

(for some reason i can't reach the TM there)

also, i saw that this place is clustered in amethyst cave map, so definitely this has to be in amethyst cave.
    DpvS0mR.png

ps : that secret grave has eerie bgm....

    also regarding odd house..

who the hell is deufax? how do i reach odd house? i warped to the mirror thing which has mew in it. and all hell breaks loose.

  9. People seem to forget you can't leave the circus or route 2 at this point.

really? i don't know because i challenged the gym right away. after the fight i can seem to transverse anywhere without any problem

Yeah, That Earthquake is the nightmare on my team. Thats a one shot for my Steelix. Only my Magnezone survives it with Sturdy but that only buys me one turn. And the only good lvl Fairy type i have is Gardevoir but her defense isn't that high. Guess I'll have to get a Crobat.

btw you should use that one turn-sturdy to thunderwave it, your pokemon will move faster. I have lucario myself and drapion, but i refrain from using it because of the earthquake high strike combo. thunderwave it then use misdreavus with perish song to end it, or any pokemon with destiny bond. pretty sure your untrained misdreavus will move faster.

    here's my experience.

i only use 2 pokemon in this gym, greninja and galvantula. from the start to midway, i used galvantula. the last 3 pokemon i use greninja with ice beam. one shotted talonflame with surf. For mega altaria, i used ice beam from greninja. luckily it got frozen with 10-20% HP. She ran out of hyperpotions and boom. The first time I win a gym with just one KO. 6-1 GG

  10. I would try this, if it weren't for my computer not allowing me to swap the files of the Pokémon. xD

lol change the name first into something, like 641 to 641X, then change the 641S to 641 ; revert the 641X to 641S.

  11. joltik cant learn thunder no mater what even if you use the electabuzz>volbeat>joltik chain because joltik cant learn thunder only galvantula can learn thunder. But.. you can use that chain to make joltik to learn thunderbolt. Yeah the down side of this is it cant get energy ball. but yeah what is the use of galvantula having thunderbolt.

    Electabuzz(thunderbolt)>Volbeat>Joltik

    @jameslfc

Rk9 can not learn moonlight but it can have morning sun i think you meant morning sun since that is the egg move for Rk9

yup i mean morning sun. sorry lol

  12. While it takes away the Wow factor, Reborn shinies are pretty common anyways, like you can get a bunch if you grind long enough or something like that (Or am I just lucky?)

umm i think so. there are people who soft resetted for 4 hours to get shiny beldum... so yeah, purely based on luck. even on shiny charm (1/30 chance), it's still pretty rare.. i hatched 40~ eggs to get real one.with the help of CE of course.

    Great idea.

Hadn't thought of this despite having dug through the file when I was boring at work.

May or may not try it out one day.

you should try it if you want to see your favorite pokemon's shiny form. breeding the right nature with the right moveset and shiny is just damn hard. i once got shiny tyrantrum in the middle of the chain-breeding-process-to-get-the-right-nature. in other words, it's still not perfect, so it end up wasted lol. but i heard in the original game, if the parent is a shiny pokemon, there might be a chance the offspring will be shiny too.

  13. LOL love this idea. Quick question, does it save the animation time that normally plays for a shiny? Because if so I'm even more down to use it, those seconds add up quickly :P

i don't think so, usually i turned the animation off, so haven't tested it. I think the shiny animation will come based on the "star" icon.

I see no harm in this. But it also means all that are encountered will also be shiny.

lol yea, but i usually do this on starters like greninja, or event pokemons so it's still not that usual.

I know for that "trick" (mostly because one day I just went and browsed everything in the reborn folder) but I never used it except if I wanted to test how some sprite looks.

While it does give me the sprite that I wanted, it still doesnt fully satisfy me. It somehow lacks the "wow" factor for me and I dont really feel like I actually have the shiny sprite... Perhaps because I always think first of shinies as how I got them and the struggle/luck behind it. The actual sprites comes in second :)

yes to each of their own indeed :) well like I said, the team has made a plethora of beautiful shiny sprites. why not use them more frequently? :) my favorite one so far is shiny lucario. it has dark aura omg.

  14. Okay i just want to share something. it's a simple method if you want your pokemon to be "shiny". no cheat needed.
well, please don't flame me. just giving you the instant way to enjoy the game's awesome shiny sprites.
Look at your game folder Graphics -> Battlers and you will see every pokemon sprite and it's shiny sprite.

swap the normal sprite and the shiny sprite.
for example here, Greninja normal sprite is 658. back sprite is 658b (b for back).
the shiny one is 658s (s for shiny), back is 658sb (shiny;back).

swap the 658 with 658s, so the normal greninja will have "shiny" sprite. do the same with the back sprite. the game will recognize based on the name.

    pXEItn.png

Please don't hate me. I just want to enjoy the awesome shiny sprites that the dev has made :(
1/30 chance with shiny charm is still low lol

PS : I'm a newbie here, i might post a very old info. I can't use RPGMaker or such, so coding or things like this is a new thing to me.

  15. No no no, Rock+Ground is great coverage, but it's great because it's almost perfect neutral coverage (so almost nothing resists it). But Fighting+Dark+Steel IS perfect neutral coverage and that's a combo that involves 2 of Lucario's STABs, so that's just way better.

And no worries, happens to everyone lol. I remember when I was SURE that Venipede could have Swords Dance bred onto it .-.

speaking of vulpix - solarbeam and venipede - SD, joltik CAN'T learn Thunder either >_> i'm sorry for misguiding you.

  16. You quote posts by clicking the quote button to the bottom left of any post. Anyways, about your sets...sorry. It's rather easy to figure out how to get those moves onto Lucario and Gardevoir (and they're not the best for Lucario, cuz coverage and lack of STABs), so I don't think I'll be putting that in the guide (I'm only trying to put really useful or tough-to-figure out things like the Roserade chain in the guide). Moonlight on Arcanine is completely pointless since we have healing items, and Ninetales can't have Solar Beam cause Vulpix doesn't learn Solar Beam via TM.

sorry. i see, so that's the criteria for the guide. yes it's true, it's easy to figure some of them lol. people can see from bulbapedia about egg moves and such. eq + rock attacks was popular back in gen 5, super effective against a lot of pokemon.

haven't played competitively since then. maybe the usefulness has changed now. okay then. my bad about ninetales, didn't see the vulpix + solarbeam compatibility. thanks! if i find something gimmick like thunder+compoundeyes, i'll let you know.

  17. thanks etesian for accepting my suggestion. yea volbeat and illumise is nothing like human.

btw how do you quote a reply?

anyway here are some sets that i use

    Lucario

Set A : Bullet Punch (from Hitmonchan) + Blaze kick + High Jump Kick from Hitmonlee (gen 6 mechanics)

Tyrogue you get from trading Dunsparce in route 1 science center.

    • Steel type priority + adaptability (when mega is available) + STAB is quite scary.
    • HJK > Close Combat if we use wide lens (+10% acc)

Set B : Earthquake + Stone Edge + Swords Dance

    Rhyhorn -> Lucario

Set C : Rock slide + Earthquake + Swords dance
    Drilbur/Tirtouga -> Quagsire -> Lucario

Yeah lucario literally can learn almost anything lol

    Arcanine

Set A : Moonlight (Espeon) + Close Combat (Primeape) (gen 6 mechanics)

Try using this in double battle with contrary spinda skill swap. Close Combat raises defenses, while recovering with moonlight ggwp. Moonlight is good for recovering recoil damage from flare blitz too.

    Gardevoir
    Set A : Thunderbolt + Energy Ball
Stunfisk (ThunderBolt) -> Swirlix (Energy Ball) -> Ralts. if you just want energy ball, go with Swirlix -> Ralts, TB Stunfisk -> Ralts.
    Set B : Shadow Ball + Thunderbolt.

    Stunfisk > Drifloon > Ralts.

    Ninetales

Set A : Nasty Plot + SolarBeam + Drought. Solarbeam hits 1.5x harder than Energy Ball, GG.
    Deerling -> Ninetales

I have modified my team heavily from the guide here. I think i want to help contribute some as my thanks. Well, if it's too much work for you then it's ok if you don't post this. Keep up the awesome work man!

  18. galvantula! it has compound eyes (+30% accuracy) so thunder with 110 base power (Excluding stab) is monstrous. Well thunder is not here yet though, you can chain breed it after 12 badges to get baby joltik with thunder, but just wait for the tm if you don't want hours of grinding.

it also has sticky web, entry hazard that lowers speed by 1 level. which can be very helpful. The downside is, you can only get it after 7 badges i think.

  19. @Animefg thanks for the suggestion, i bred jolly lucario today and i was so lucky it turns out to be shiny! yea i agree that eelektross would be reserve squad for water gyms. i think we can't really use 6 pokemon in this game because of the monotype gymleaders that have lots of coverage moves.

    uR7w7F.png

@NovaKnight thank you for the reply. alright. i think i will not make greninja as suicide lead. maybe i will just switch between dark pulse or grass knot depending on the situation. and i decided to keep the gardevoir as it is now too. regarding archeops, i think i will still keep it, because i can use endeavor when my health is low. but i bred tyrantrum too yesterday, both has the role as earthquake + rock attack users. except tyrantrum packs head smash but slower.

i think i will swap eelektross for galvantula. galvantula has sticky web support and i think my team really need it. this is the final 6 in my opinion.

    1. Greninja Modest Protean : Surf, Ice Beam, ExtraSensory, DarkPulse/Grass Knot

    2. Gardevoir Modest Trace : Psychic, Moon Blast, Calm Mind, Grass Knot

    3. Drapion Adamant Sniper : Cross Poison, Night Slash, X-Scissor, Swords Dance

    4. Archeops Adamant : Rock Slide, Endeavor, Earthquake, Acrobatics

    5. Lucario Jolly Justified : (image above)

    6. Galvantula (planned, has yet to breed it) Compound Eyes Modest : Thunder/Energy Ball?, Bug Buzz, Sticky Web, Charge Beam/Discharge (C-Beam if I use Thunder, Discharge if I use E-Ball)

    Reserve :

1, Arcanine Adamant Flash Fire (for Galvantula/Lucario's shield against fire) : Crunch, Outrage, Flare Blitz, Close Combat

2, Tyrantrum Jolly Rock Head (he is for archeops substitute) : D-Dance, Head Smash, Earthquake, D-Claw

    3. Eelektross Adamant Levitate (For gym battles) : T-Wave, B-Break, Coil, Wild Charge

So, with this main line up, i have every spectrum of attacks except normal, ghost, and dragon attacks. Might give shadow ball to gardevoir in the future.

I decide to drop arcanine because lucario can cover arcanine better, that's why i gave him blaze kick. And Lucario gets swords dance too. Occasionally I die on recoil damage from F-Blitz.

Please give me more suggestion regarding the line up. Should i swap something with the reserve pokemon? Tyrantrum is a bit slow and needs DD first so he can sweep. Meanwhile, it has plethora of weaknesses and hard to survive for even two turns.

Regarding compound eyes galvantula, should i go with thunder or energy ball? TM breeding can only do one of those. no bug pokemon can learn both energy ball and thunder.

thunder galvantula = electabuzz -> volbeat/illumise (only them can learn thunder in bug group) -> joltik

energy ball = lotad -> paras -> joltik
so, i must only choose one.

    thank you
