  1. Good luck!

Btw, i expect Lord Goomy to destroy everything in his way

    Lord Goomy > ALL

He is the leader of the team, obviously! I wanted Goomy so bad. Thanks for the luck!

To be fair, noibat is complete and utter trash.

To be also fair, I might just give Noibat a try. I'll give it a shot and surprise surprise!

  2. Dragon Monotype Run

    !Thy Noise!

    Introduction:

Hello guys! Seth here, again. And an exciting news! I finally got myself the pokemons I requested, so thank you Ronan! Actually, he gave it to me last Nov. 3, though I only saw the message in Nov. 9, so disappointing, yeah. Still! Let's make it possible.

There are few advantages and some disadvantages. One of the disadvantages are few numbers of available Dragon Types, so yeah! There are actually, 1..2.. 8 pokes available for Dragon Monotype,

    !Thy Noise!:

History: (NOTE: NAMES ARE STILL NOT IMPLEMENTED, MAYBE AFTER?)

    Goomy - DaGumba

Originated from the western lands not far from Reborn but near Heather's Voice, which means its somewhere in nowhere land.

    Swablu - Shiverly

A flock of Swablus came over and Shiverly was caught by the open forest fires caught by the wild Pansears doing some.. uhm... ritual mating.. I guess?

    333.gif

    Horsea - VivaQueen

He was going home to his grandma's coral but he saw me with DaGumba and Shiverly happily dancing ashore. He enjoyed and decided to join our team.

    116.gif

    Charmander - Sir LongFire

He was left alone in front of my house, in a basket, with a scar on his forehead. I said, 'He shall be the Chosen One'.

    4.gif

    Details:

    DaGumba - Bold Nature

    Ability - Gooey

    Reminders to the Playthrough:

I will be updating the playthrough every time I defeat a gym leader, she is always right there when..... Oops! I won't be posting any pictures though, since it will consume me such precious time, considering how slow my PC is. Every update, I will tell how it goes, if I'm actually productive, I will tell what moves, who I killed, etc. If I will be lazy, I would tell you how it go, like it was easy or not. You can guess how. At the end of each update, I will put a spoiler about my team in this options:

:Name: - :Level: - :Held Item: - :Nature:

    :Picture:

    :Movepool:

Well, that's enough of the reminders! Stay tuned at the next update, Reborn!

    Expectations:

    - Fern

    - Aster & Eclipse

    - Julia

  4. What type is Doublade though? You can use Donphan to wreck Chandelure and Doublade easily. You can try evolving Graveler to Golem, so more protection. Try beating the first 3 since it can knock out most of your pokemons easily.

  5. You can't hop on the Crustles, you place them onto deep dark patches of the ground.

I, too, found this. Didn't knew what item it was, so I didn't care for it, so yeah...

You lost all your Linkstones? I still had 3 of them while in Agate Circus...

  6. A big welcome to my thread guys!

As the title says it all, I will be doing an RPGR with the Gang KM, which you guys will choose who I will be going with. Its fun since I chose random pokemons, with aces and newblings, which might be great for experiment.

NOTE: You may only choose 3 groups, exactly 18 pokemons.

Here are your contestants! Some of these pokemons are not fully evolved, but I placed their name in fully evolved.

    Group 1:

    olqujED.png

    Reuniclus - Pre-Radomus(?)

    Gastrodon - Pre-Aya to Pre-Serra

    Leavanny - Post-Flobot

    Dusknoir - Pre-Shade

    Group 2:

    Vespiquen - Pre-Julia

    Kingdra - Post-Samson

    Grovyle - Starter

    Drifblim - Pre/Post-Corey

    Amoonguss - Pre-Aya

Camerupt - (whenever its raining) Pre-Julia or Post-Julia

    Xatu - Post-Corey (Nuzleaf Fortress) Pre-Radomus

Here, after the 7th post, I will now choose either most picked group or a random number according to the date of the post.

Hence, after I picked the 18 pokes, I will now set their names by a random name gen. You may decide what Movepool they get.

You may suggest their Nature/Ability/Movepool for the future gameplay.

    Let the decision begin!

  7. Update, I'm currently at Agate Circus. I've read all your suggestions and it went great after I read the comments.

Fighting Samson seemed harder than I suspected. I only went to 2 pokemons of his, Hariyama and Mienchao, which Hariyama knocked out 4 of my pokemons and 2 for Mienchao.

    Here's my new pokemon lineup:

Reep/Ampharos - Lvl 60 with Static holding Nothing
    Fire Punch

    Discharge

    Strength

    Rock Smash

Nub/Mamoswine - Lvl 61 with Snow Cloak holding NeverMeltIce

    Earthquake

    Thrash

    Ice Shard

    AncientPower

Kip/Swampert - Lvl 62 with Torrent holding Hard Stone

    Rock Slide

    Take Down

    Muddy Water

    Earthquake

Rupt/Camerupt - Lvl 60 with Solid Rock holding Charcoal

    Lava Plume

    Rock Slide

    Flame Burst

    Earthquake

Kazam/Alakazam - Lvl 52 with Magic Guard holding Exp Share (Duh!)

    Psychic

    Teleport

    Iron Tail

    Psycho Cut

Lade/Gardevoir - Lvl 60 with Trace holding Mind Plate

    Psychic

    Magic Leaf

    Hypnosis

    Dream Eater

Anyways, here's my concern. Mostly, throughout the game, Rupt is being so weak, mostly useless since its Defenses/SpD is 109 and 105 when mostly has 120-200 and up. How can I EV train him if I'm stuck inside Agate City?

The only way I could grind is by beating Clown Indra, by beating his/her(?) Color Wheel pokemons. All of them are Lvl 65, but hardly any difficult. It gives decent Exp, especially whenever I fight Blissey in Pink Team (20k+ Exp ehem ehem), and Kazam gets 14k each time, but hardly gets pink. Where can I grind to get my pokemons 65?

Next, I want to know Samson's team, so I could prepare the attack. Since Lade always die whenever she meets Mienchao, I would think another tactic, either use Earthquake. But then, lack of information about the team, so wish you guys could supply that.

Lastly, any more tips on making my team stronger? Wouldn't there be any held items to raise my pokemon's abilities? Ability Capsule sure gives hella crap abilities. Rupt can only give Solid Rock, Anger Point and the other one that I forgot.

    Thanks in advance, Reborn Community!

  8. Hello guys! I just want to list down here my pokemons with the categories of LVL, Ability, Item Held and Movesets. I'm putting these here so that I could get some tips from you, community, on how to improve my team.

    Here's the List!

Gulp/Swalot - Lvl 54 with Liquid Ooze holding a Poison Barb

    Movesets:

    Sludge Wave

    Toxic

    Body Slam

    Sludge Bomb

Rupt/Camerupt - Lvl 53 with Anger Point holding Nothing

    Movesets:

    Lava Plume

    Rock Slide

    Flame Burst

    Earthquake

Floon/Drifblim - Lvl 52 with Aftermath holding Nothing

    Movesets:

    Cut

    Payback

    Shadow Ball

    Destiny Bond

Nub/Mamoswine - Lvl 54 with Oblivious holding NeverMeltIce

    Movesets:

    Earthquake

    Thrash

    Ice Shard

    AncientPower

Kip/Swampert - Lvl 54 with Torrent holding Hard Stone

    Movesets:

    Rock Slide

    Take Down

    Muddy Water

    Earthquake

Reep/Ampharos - Lvl 54 with Static holding Nothing

    Movesets:

    Fire Punch

    Discharge

    Strength

    Rock Smash

On the other note, the reason why I'm telling you these is that, I am preparing my team to battle Noel. So far, would have exchanged Swalot for Gardevoir but I said, nah, he's a tank for Wigglytuff and Clefable since Poison is super effective to Fairy typs

The other reason is that, I couldn't defeat Porygon-Z or Cinccino since they are the worst. Tri Attack, Psychic, Tail Slap, Rock Blast, Bullet Seed, goddamn.

Only Ampharos and Swampert could finish Porygon_Z, but if both of them died, none can survive. Cinccino is a hard one, the strategy was use Mamoswine for the defensive while using Earthquake. But then, Swellow and Staraptor, my Ampharos now would die, same with Mamoswine and Swampert, since they have Rock Slide.

    So far, yeah......

  9. Hey guys! I'll be resetting my progress, and it would be fun to have a Rock/Ground Monotype run.

Any tips on how to get these pokes early? Golem(Geodude), Excalibur(Drilbur), Steelix(Onyx - which is at the Harbor), Drapion(Skorpi), Camerupt(Numel - also at the Harbor), Quagsire(Wooper)

In advance, thanks for helping :)

  10. Well, I had a crappy time defeating Radomus, because most of my pokemon (or better yet, all) doesn't know any dark type moves and no dark type on my team. I'm wishing to either grind my Lvl 30 Scraggy, Lvl 22 Houndour, Lvl 25 Gothita.

Is there any place I could get a better dark pokemons to beat Radomus?

Anyways, my pokes are, Donphan, Pachirisu, Samurott, Torkoal, Heatmor, Simisear
See how shit and crap good they are? They were, actually, until it started with Serena(?) or Spindel Town Gym, then onwards.

  11. Use Torkoal as lead, Eruption to turn the field into burning field, thats when Simisear and Heatmor start to shine(btw you evolve the sear monkey too early, it should get acrobatics and crunch too in higher level as pansear, stone evolutions dont get their pre-evo moves back after evolving), flame burst is montrous in burning field, part of Reborn's appeal is that field effect benefits gym leaders as well as the players, use that to your advantage~Field manual is your bible for Reborn~

Noel didnt leave much of an impression for me as I spammed my Klinklang's shift gear-gear grind combo, he couldnt do much to me, beaten him in first trial~

Torkoal was always the lead in my battles of Noel, also used Eruption to make the grass under Wigglytuff (or just made the whole field caught on fire) then, another Eruption since Wigglytuff won't die because it has a tiny bit more of health, which is not much of a threat. Additionally, Torkoal has a high Defense and Special Defense stat, so I could trust him.

Simisear had Acrobatics, it didn't had any use for me before, rarely used it and changed it to Shadow Claw because none of my pokemons had Ghost-type attacks,

Thanks for the advice though :)

For now, grinding would be my first tactic for Mor and Pach.

  12. I've been stuck with this brat for ages, and the only thing that stops me is Porygon-Z with a wooping 1-hit Tri Attack and Swellow's Facade and Brave Bird.

    Any tips on defeating him?
    Pokemons:
Simisear - Blaze: LVL 56 (I know its overleveled) : Movesets : Bite + Shadow Claw + Flame Burst (Best Attack he's gotten) + Cut (REASONS)
Torkoal - Shell Armor: LVL 54 : Movesets : Eruption (Beat the sh*t out of Wigglytuff for that) + Flamethrower + Body Slam + Heat Wave
Pachirisu - Pickup: LVL 50 : Movesets : Discharge + Nuzzle (Nuzzle is Love) + Super Fang (Helpful, especially since Steelix came) + Electro Ball
    Donphan - Sturdy : LVL 55 : Movesets : Rock Smash + Strength + Earthquake + Giga Impact
    Heatmor - Flash Fire : LVL 49 (IDK WHY :/) : Movesets : Flamethrower + Flame Burst + Sucker Punch + Slash
Samurott - Torrent : LVL 55 : Movesets : Aqua Jet (Lame, never used it) + Razor Shell + Revenge + Slash

I know I need some leveling up with Heatmor (Mor) and Pachirisu (Pach), but anyone has tips?

    Additional Pokes
Grumpig: LVL 47 : Movesets : Psyshock + Psybeam + Power Gem + Confuse Ray
Meowstic: LVL 49 : Movesets : Psyshock + Psychic + Disarming Voice + Fake Out
Beartic: LVL 46 (Caught in the Icy Cavern near Shade's Gym) : Movesets : Blizzard + Ice Shard + Rest + Slash(?)

    Any tips????
