  1. A problem I had when chain breeding was that when putting a level 1 pokemon in the daycare, it leveled up very quickly and so it learned new moves and forgot the ones I was trying to breed. For example, at level 1 your Vullaby would have Gust, Leer, Knock Off and Roost. However, when reaching level 5 it would forget Knock Off to learn Fury Attack, and therefore the new Vullaby eggs would inherit Roost but not Knock Off because the Vullaby in the daycare had forgot it.

Some advice: Level up them to level 15 more or less, and remove with the move deleter all the moves except the ones you want the new Vullaby to inherit. This way it will be very unlikely they will forget them before you get an acceptable Vullaby egg.

It has nothing to do with Ditto I think.

Ah, I get it. Thanks for the tip, I'll try this now

  2. Disclaimer: This might not be a bug. I'm not the best breeder, and I tried to do some research after I noticed it was happening, but I didn't find anything conclusive

Anyways, I'm doing a dark monotype, and I'm trying to breed moves onto my Vullaby. I figured out that I could get roost from a pidgey, and knock off from a Farfetch'd. I bred roost on first, and then I bred on knock off. With the new Vullaby that now had the two egg moves that I wanted, I pulled Ditto out of my PC because I wasn't satisfied with the IV's of the Vullaby that I bred for, so I decided to breed a few more eggs. I grabbed 3 eggs from the day care, and decided I'd just do 3, because I didn't care too much. I hatched the first, but it wasn't that good either. It knew all of the egg moves. When I hatched the second, however, it had pretty good IV's but it only knew roost as it's egg move, and didn't have knock off. I hatched the third to see if it would have the moves, but it also only had roost. Like I said, not the best or smartest breeder, but this might be a bug too,

    EDIT: Lock/delete please

  3. Thanks! I'm not looking forward to Shelly, but if I can get past her I'll get access to tons of new Pokemon, so there's that to look forward to. Anyway...

Update #15: You're Not My Mom, You Can't Tell Me What To Do!

Well, Victoria took a try or two to get past, but all in all she could have been a lot worse. On TEH URN, Ren led with Hecate, and Victoria led with Scraggy. Scraggy set up a dragon dance, but Hecate managed to burn it with a flamethrower, causing it to only do chip damage the next turn with a payback while Hecate injured it again with a flamethrower. Victoria tried using her two super potions on it, but Hecate just continued attacking it with flamethrower. With only a sliver of health left and one shot to KO Hecate, Scraggy used... dragon dance. (facepalms) Bravo, Victoria, bravo. Needless to say, Scraggy fainted from burn damage the next turn.

Victoria sent out her Poliwrath next, and Ren swapped out to Nymph, who set up a spiky shield, tanking a payback in the process, and decimated the Poliwrath with a mighty critical-hit needle arm!

Up next came Victoria's ace, Emboar, to which Ren swapped out Missing Link, now a Greninja! Missing Link tanked a sucker punch and did some damage with a mighty water pulse, then outsped Emboar and KO'd it with a second water pulse!

Victoria, running out of options at this point, sent out her trickiest Pokemon for me to deal with: her Gallade. Ren sent out Nymph again, and she did chip damage to Gallade by setting up a spiky shield, which Gallade hit with a brick break. Sadly, she then fainted to a single brick break the next turn, but Hecate (who came out next) was able to tank two shadow sneaks and a brick break and counter with a toxic and two slashes, taking Gallade down!

All that remained was Victoria's Hariyama, to which Ren sent out Jubjub Bird. Jubjub Bird did crazy damage with a brave bird, but ended up fainting to a brick break; luckily, she paved the way for Missing Link to swoop in and end Hariyama with two water pulses while Victoria (once again proving her intelligence) ordered it to use fake out, ending the fight! Onward to Shelly!

    The team so far:

    greninja.gifMissing Link (Male) - Lv. 35

    murkrow-f.gifJubjub Bird (Female) - Lv. 35

    pawniard.gifKaijin (Male) - Lv. 34

    cacturne-f.gifNymph (Female) - Lv. 35

    pangoro.gifOni (Male) - Lv. 34

    skuntank.gifHecate (Female) - Lv. 35

Pawniard off the egg, not bad. He's catchable later though, so that does kinda suck :( Other than that, nice job! Really enjoying this run, it took me awhile to beat shelly for some reason though. I had to train up 2 skuntanks for a gym that's typically easy. Good luck on Kiki though, that took me at least an hour and a half to beat, but after that you can get some pretty good mons, so that's nice. Wonder what'll happen with Samson though, I'm not even sure I'm ready to try that. Hopefully Honchkrow can carry, right? Good luck with the run

  4. Title pretty much says it all. Doing a dark mono and soft reset for awhile for a shiny Zorua for the event, because I really like how it looks. However, when I was in 7th street doing battles, I noticed that when Zoroark was disguised as my Honchkrow, it still showed that he was shiny, even though the sprite of the Honchkrow wasn't shiny. I don't know if this is intentional, but if/when online battling comes out, this could screw up a strategy that uses Zoroark.

  5. Hi I am new to Pokemon Reborn. I was wondering if there is a lucky egg or exp share in this game yet, if so where would i find them?

I'm at the part where I escaped the city and made it to Charlotte's lake house.

The lucky egg, as mentioned above, involves shards. You can mine for them, which would probably take awhile, or later on in the game there's a place you can buy them, but if you choose to buy them you need to beat the current episode to go back and get the lucky egg

  6. lol yea I did bro, buy a crap ton of Oran berries, then download cheat engine to speed up the game(its just like pressing spacebar when playing VBA) It'll makes things a bit quicker, becuase I know this is tedious. Put on a YT video and smash the enter key lol.

Thanks, I'll just use a Hearthstone stream :P

  7. So I don't know if this is cheating or whatnot, but I'm trying to farm for some items, and it would also be helpful for breeding. I downloaded the program, but I know nothing about it, and the tutorials didn't help, because I could set up a loop, but couldn't get it to take place in the game. If it's considered cheating, I'd like to know, but if it isn't cheating, can someone give me instructions? Thanks.

  8. I also plan to change Tangrowth for Krookodile and Gothitelle for Gardevoir as soon as the game allows....

Fell free to offer any other suggestions as well

Just an FYI, even though it's not really related to the question, Sandile is in the game. I'll leave it up to you to find him

  9. Amber is actually the easiet gym leader i've ever fought just set up rain dance and my flygon almost wiped all of her team

I got a togepi :( My strategy is rain dance + water sport = win

Edit: I beat amber. 5-0, because at the end she took out my Poliwrath with a Psychic, which I didn't know he could even learn. Now to find a different game to eat up my time

  10. I don't know if there's already a king's rock in the game but if you want some rain dancers you can get either : Wooper,Gastrodon(You'll need to level him down to 21 since it learns Rain dance at 22),Finneon or Frillish.

Gonna go for the Poliwrath I think
