Is there any reason I can't get these 2 to breed? I've been having issues trying to get similar egg group types to have eggs in general. Breeding with Ditto does work, but I'm struggling to get the egg moves I want :(

Thank you for your responses. To confirm, I just need to move the Game2.rxdata file to my new folder and open up that file? I attempted to move it over and now when I open that file it still just opens the progress I had on the new laptop instead of the old laptop data. Any thoughts? I have the Game-### saves as well and tried opening those. Same results.

Hi, I bought a new laptop and Reborn is unable to find my previous save content. I added all previous saves to C:\Users\My name\Saved Games\Pokemon Reborn. However the game data seems to be pulling from somewhere else.
I created a new game and saved it. However the file cannot be found in the folder indicated above. I searched for the save file and also could not find the rxdata with the new user when searching file explorer for all items for "rxdata".
Is it possible that it is trying to track the data from my D drive? I added the ssd from my old computer to this one so it does have a file path to the Saved Files with my previous computer name which I believe is the same name. However, I cannot search the user files on the previous drive of D:\Users\My name\Saved Games because the C drive booted up Windows. Any thoughts?

It seems like it was just a one day issue. The saves are usually ok now. Although sometimes I do get a message that says the save fails. In those cases I typically just have to save again. I also have run into an issue where the save file is not my most recent one. How do I link the most recent save file to the save manager?

Thank you for the app! I am running into an issue though where the save files from the running game are not created. I did a full scan and could not find the other saves. Do you have any suggestions to correct the problem?

Thank you. Part of the issue is getting used to Windows 10 too. I'm not used to the navigation on in.

I just received a new laptop and I was wondering the best way to transfer my old files to the new one so that my saves are registered. Any help would be much appreciated!
PS: I wasn't sure the best place to post this question as it wasn't a bug. So if this is not the best spot I apologize.

Yes, I have added the file "Game" as an exception. And none of those links seemed to have any suggestions that I have not tried. Also, the last link said: "People with this issue can NOT launch the game." However, I can. The issue is the RGSS link pops up every time I enter a certain location in the game.

Long-shot but have you tried the option to run in compatibility mode for win XP then running as Administrator?
That did not work. To confirm that I did that correctly though, these are the steps I went through:
1. Right clicked and selected properties for the file named "Game"
2. Select Run in Compatibility mode for "Windows XP..."
3. Then I disabled some of the other features as well just to see if that would help.
4. Right click and run as administrator.
As an additional note, I never had issues running reborn.

Hi,
Whenever I enter Gearen City from Oceana Pier I get an error stating that the RGSS Player stopped working. It occurs as soon as I make the exit from the building in between the two towns when the screen is still black. This occurred for this version and the 5th one that I downloaded before. I was hopeful that it would stop on the new version, but it did not. I went through a few troubleshooting options common for those who tried to stop that error upon first opening the game. However, the error is persisting. I am running Windows Vista (I know outdated). Any help would be great!

Yeah, if you're having a major issue with it I have your save file with the piles of waste moved and you across but you really don't seem to be stuck.
I didn't realize they could be pushed. I don't know if that was a thing in recent versions, but I haven't played pokemon since Fire Red/Leaf Green/Emerald. Thanks

While editing your post, use "Full Editor" instead, so you get the screen I previously mentioned.
I am in the second water treatment room that has murky water (the second door you go through) and I talked to Titannia until she took the gum, but she won't do anything. Is there an issue with my game or is there something I have not done? I tried talking to her again with the water up and down and also opened one of the gates.
I did that. I just realized you had to "upload" it after selecting it. Never had to do that for a file before. Anyway, thanks for the help in posting. Hoping my issue will be fixed soon.

Err... You still need your save file. Also, it seems that you are not looking for your save file in the correct place:
I saw that. Am I not allowed to add links when editing files? I forgot it on the original post and now it will not let me edit it with the games save file included. I upload the file and when I submit changes it still isn't there.

Hi,
I have been playing the same version of Reborn through CH 15. I recently experienced an issue where my up button is permanently pressed in the pokedex and start menu (i.e. pokedex, pokemon, bag etc. menu) so that I cannot move below the "Pokemon" selection. I can only get to the pokemon option by pressing the down arrow incredibly rapidly. When I select the pokemon option I am able to press the arrow buttons normally, but when I exit the menu the issues persists. This is the first occurrence, and I would try restarting, but I would prefer to save before.
