  1. Thanks for all your advice! I've finally done it, after 2 more attempts.

I started with Exeggutor and set up Trick Room. Then I killed the Gyarados with Mega-Ampharos. Afterwards I used 3 X Defense, 1 x Speed and 2 X Attack on Flygon and swept through Excadrill, Staraptor (on my first attempt, I lost because after setting up my Flygon, Staraptor landed a crit and KO'ed it ignoring the defenses boosts, it really pissed me off xD) and Scizor. For some reason, the Mega-Garchomp survived a Dragon Claw, either my Flygon is really weak or Mega-Garchomp is a lot sturdier than I thought.

Luckily, he didn't heal it and I could KO it with Swampert after barely surviving a hit.  I swear I would've lost it if he healed the Garchomp xD. For the Tyranitar I KO'ed with Blaziken and that was it.

It felt a bit cheap having to resort to all those X Items in order to win, but if I'm ever struggling with another fight I'll definitely use it again.

Gyarados was a big issue for me, too. The best kind of electric type to use is one with Levitate or an Air Balloon, in my experience. Rotom had an easier time with him because of it and then a Bullet Punch from Metagross finished it off (luckily he didn't bother trying to heal it when Metagross was out, I'm still not sure why).

I think he doesn't heal for this battle. Thank god, it would've been a lot harder.

If your Bkaziken doesn't have Speed Boost.. Well you basically kinda screwed with him here.

You can change his ability by using Ability Capsule.

Gyarados might be the problem.. You should try more speedy electric mon, or maybe.. The fairy one 🤔

What mons do you have in your box?

Yeah it does have Speed Boost, I forgot to mention it.

In my box I don't really have anything remarkable other than the ones I mentioned (Eelektross and Exeggutor), I mean I have a Gible but I'd have to train it and I don't think it's going to be of much use this battle. I'll check later if I have anything else good.

What I would do is after Ampharos KOs Staraptor, keep it in and pivot to Flygon as EQ does nothing, if you have any X items, use them. I cannot stress that enough. X speed (especially if you haven’t EV trained) X attack, and X Defend are all great on Solaris. You may want to replace Flygon’ Fly with a Move that hits Gyarados hard like Stone Edge. After setup with the aforementioned X Items, Flygon should have favorable matchups against most of his team. Watch out for Scizor cause without a defense boost, he could take out your sweeper. His final Pokemon is very difficult to one shot, so you may need to make it a team effort to beat it. Elektross and Exeggutor may be good as most of Solaris’ mons are spam-happy with EQ, and your team seems to have a big weakness to it.[\spoiler]

    Spoiler

To be honest I've never used any of these X Items before, not even in the official games xD. I'll try using them!

I'll swap Venusaur with Exeggutor as well, since it wasn't really useful on my previous attempts.

  3.

    I can't beat Solaris.

    This is my team:

    - Ampharos with Signal Beam, Discharge, Powerg Gem and Electric Terrain. It has the Ampharosite.

    - Swampert with EQ, Waterfall, Hammer Arm and Protect.

    - Blaziken with Bulk Up, Blaze Kick, Brave Bird and Sky Uppercut

    - Venusaur with Toxic, Giga drain, Leech Seed and Venoshock.

    - Metagross with Meteor Mash, Agility, Hammer Arm and Zen Headbutt.

    - Flygon with Fly, Dragon Claw, EQ and Crunch.

If I start the combat with MegaAmpharos, I can kill the Staraptor. The problem is, I can't heal it next turn because the next pokemon is Excadrill and if I waste one turn healing, it sweeps my whole team after a Swords Dance. So, I proceed to kill the Excadrill with Swampert. Then comes Gyarados and since I couldn't heal MegaAmpharos before, it cannot survive a hit and then the Gyarados sweeps my whole team because of Moxie.

So instead I try to lead the battle with another pokemon and save MegaAmpharos for the Gyarados. I've tried it with Metagross, but before I can kill it uses U-Turn and there comes the Gyarados and screws me over again.

There was an attempt where somehow I managed to kill the Gyarados, and then with my Blaziken I killed with one hit both Scizor and Tyranitar. But then there was M-Garchomp, my Blaziken had to miss its attack (though I doubt it would have killed it) and it wrecked the rest of my team with EQ.

    Any tips?

Other pokemon I have at an adequate level are an Eelektross and AlolanExeggutor (I only have it for when I need Trick Room).

  4. Huh, so this wasn't fixed from the beta. Well, go to where your save file is and use one of the back-ups. To use any of 'em, just delete the one that's currently named game.rxdata (might as well, if it's unusable) and have the one you want to use be named that.

Phew, it worked! Thanks a lot! For a moment I thought I had really screwed it up xD

  5. Well, I've just finished episode 15 and I thought of using Fly. I flew to Reborn City but now I've realized that I cannot fly back to Agate Circus.... So, is there any way to get back there? Since to start episode 16 if I have read it right I have to be in that room of the Circus. Oh, and I've saved the game after flying so I can't simply reset.......

  6. First, change Arcanine's ability to Flash Fire to gain a fire immunity. Send Beartic packing, won't help in this fight for sure. Give Fake Out to Hariyama via relearner. Get Braviary out, it is in danger of being VoltSwitch prey or det Discharged by yourself.

Open with Hariyama and Swampert. Fake out Typhlosion and take it out with EQ. Switch Hariyama in and out to Fake Out Volcarona as well, then take it out (that carries Giga Drain) and KO it with Rock Slide. Use Knock Off against Delphox, but do it after Volcarona is out for the count, Volca must go down before attacking even once. If Hariyama isn't alive when Delphox comes, use Arcanine with Crunch. Throw what's left at Ninetales. If possible take a Boldore, evolve it and put a Sandstorm on after Ninetales comes out. It'll spare you the sun and the supercharged Fire attacks.

What do you have in the box?

Thanks a lot for this advice! For the time being I have changed Arcanine's ability. As for Fake Out, I will have to get a heart scale before (I hope I can mine it somewhere...).

In the box I think the only pokemon usable for this fight is a Golem (with EQ, Stealth Rock, Self-destruct and rock blast and sturdy as ability). However, it is only level 40.

  7. I am stuck with Charlotte :S

    This is my current team:

    - Swampert (lv 68) with Rock Slide, Earthquake, Surf and Hammer Arm. Ability: Damp

    - Arcanine (lv 63) with Crunch, Flamethrower, Take Down and Agility. Ability: Intimidate

    - Hariyama (lv 62) with Knock Off, Close Combat, Heavy Slam and Force Palm. Ability: Thick Fat

    - Braviary (lv 62) with Defog, Brave Bird, Air Slash and Crush Claw. Ability: Sheer Force

    - Ampharos (lv 62) with Signal Beam, Power Gem, Thunder Wave and Discharge. Ability: Static

    - Beartic (lv 61) with Strength, Icicle Crash, Rest and Blizzard. Ability: Snow Cloak.

I was thinking of using a Trick Room user, so that Swampert outspeeds everything and earthquakes them to death. I thought about trying it with a Heatproof Bronzong but I don’t know if it will be enough...

  8. I can't find the second chair (the one I have found was near the front of Serra's house) and the bed... Any clue?

Edit: I have located the bed, now all that's left is the chair.

Edit2: nevermind, I just solved myself XD. Sorry for the trouble.
