If you are running Windows, saved files are most likely located at

    C:\Users\(Your name here)\Saved Games

Inside that folder, there should be a folder named Pokemon Reborn (or other games you have played) and your files will be located in the respective games' folder.

Edit: the quote did not make it through, sooo:

Where do I find the save file? I downloaded it and want to start a new file to explore all the changes, but I also want to keep my old file so I can return to it later.

Found the files, so how I make the game change from one save file to the other when I want to switch between the two?

  2. Is anyone able to provide a map of Route 1/all the side alcoves? I'm trying to work out which times I need Tauros and which times I need Bouffalant but I can't see whether the Bouffalant will do anything most of the time. I don't need the full solution - I actually like solving the puzzles - but this one's too much of a pain in the ass without it.

  3. So I'm up to battling Noel for his badge in E15, and my team is strong to the point where this should be an unloseable battle (they're all strong attackers right on the level cap, with decent speed and enough HP that they should be able to take hits, an assortment of types with moves to hit his weaknesses, among them a Lv55 Speed Boost Blaziken with Double Kick for the Fighting weakness and Blaze Kick to take advantage of the field), and yet... all three of his Cinccino's "multiple hits" moves (Tail Slap, Rock Blast, Bullet Seed) seem to hit the maximum five times, every single time, wiping out my entire team even when I get up to it with all of my party still usable. It's happened too many times to be a coincidence, so I'm wondering if there's a bug there?

  4. The little screens next to each switch match the colours of the bookcases they control.

With Serra's puzzle, it's worth mentioning that (1) each time you try to Rock Smash the wrong section of wall, all of your party takes damage, but that (2) the puzzle doesn't reset if you go to heal, so if you want to dump your Rock Smasher in the PC before you battle her you can.

  5. The first three are updated for E15, so if you weren't playing in E15, that's probably the reason.

    - Nidorina should be in Beryl Cave, not a Rhodochrine Jungle Cave.

    - Tynamo should be in Peridot Alley on a Rainy day. I can confirm this. Perhaps you were in the wrong alley or in the wrong weather.

    - If you found Litleo in Obisida Ward, later you'll find Electrike.

    - Heatmor is indeed still in Pyrous Mountain.

    - Beartic battle IS winnable. I won just with brute force, using Drought Vulpix, Monferno, and Emolga.

    - Corey's Croagunk wants Corey's Silver Ring, as do all of Corey's Pokemon. You need to get it from Corey's room after he dies.

Got the Nidorina; just confused because it was listed in the Rhodochrine Jungle section. Maybe move it to the Beryl City/graveyard section? (Might also be worth mentioning Elgyem and the Nuzleaf swarm in the clearing that comes from that cave - especially since you can take all five of the Nuzleafs that stick around after the battle.

Other things worth adding are that the Squirtle in Byxbysion Wasteland now has to be caught in battle instead of coming along willingly like the Mudkip did (also, there's randomly a second Rock Smash TM in that clearing, which makes no sense when the TMs are reusable), and the Zangoose hide and seek in the alleys. And there's another hidden chamber in the bottom right of the Railnet, where you can pick up TM83 Infestation.

  6. So I've been using this for a checklist as I work my way through the game (I'm at the Yureyu battle right now, so pretty much at the end of what you have), and these events all seem to have changed/been removed:

Tynamo in Peridot Alley (can't remember if Pokemon just changed or none there at all)

    Electrike in Obsidia Ward

The caged Nidorina in Rhodochrine Jungle (couldn't find)

Heatmor in Pyrous Mountain (not there)

Finding Cain's earring on Azurine Island (doesn't happen)

Might I suggest also adding a list of things you can go back to do once they become available, or at least a "come back once you [whatever]" note? Like, there are about three or four different events in Citrine Mountain that you can't do while you're actually in the area, but they're worth coming back for later - the Beartic battle is unwinnable when you're there the first time around, once you beat Aya and can use Strength outside of battle you can get the TM for Double Team, and Corey's Croagunk is waiting there for something like it's an event Pokemon but you don't have whatever it is you need to get Croagunk to join you.

  7. It looks like Litleo is now in the Obsidia underground, then in the Railnet house, then in the Railnet itself, but once you get it to enter the Railnet it triggers a battle with a Lv35 Klinklang when you follow it down. (You can still walk around the Litleo in the house if you want to go down and catch yourself a Klink first though.)

Also, I *think* the Lillipup hide and seek has changed - again, the spoilered pics don't seem to work, but it's not in the Coral Ward any more.
