[Gym Leader Help Thread]

trying to lvl a staryu and a growlithe right now. golurk dies pretty fast no? it seems like the speed is unreall for her pokemon(they always go first no matter what pokemon i have). so my new team will be blaziken, girafarig, growlithe(or evolution i guess) staryu(or evoltuion i guess) , dedenne( for that thunder memes) and swoobat or growlithe.

edit: also i never got rain dance, feelsbadman

I dont know if you can still get a fennekin in v7/8 but if u can, Her final evolution allow her to learn rain dance too. Any pokmeon that can learn rain dance is a must for Amber. Although her Charizard did give me a run for my money at the end.

You get rain dance tm from Valerie if you defeated all the Deoxys from the event.

sad thing is, if u got the lost camp back in V5 and got the kids there then went to V6 to V7 after that, you find the key for that girl standing in front of lost camp but after u enter, you keep running into the kid standing in front of you nonstop and got stuck there... idk if theres a fix for this but would be great if it did got fixed...

Aerial Ace is in Forest of Time. Rock Climb required.

Shadow Claw is on Wispy Path, near Rock Climb spot. You need Surf to get there.

TM88 is Pluck, not Sleep Talk.

Rain Dance can now be found in Wispy Ruins, in the part accessible with Rock Climb (which also needs Surf). If you've already got it from Val for getting all Dexoys, you'll get an Ability Capsule instead.

There's also technically TM53 in Akora Shore. BUT YOU'RE NOT GETTING IT, CAUSE JAN IS EVIL.

I'm pretty sure it was like that during older versions (Like 2 and 3), but I can assure you it wasn't on Version 5 or 6.

Jan probably changed it to avoid cluster, if he's using the same backup system Reborn has. Or just because he wanted.

Although if you're on a Mac, the location should be on the Game Folder iirc

Oh... Well, I remembered back in Version 5 and 5-5 version, Their save files was inside the game folder before version 6 had the extra back up saves. Ofc Version 6 also use the same thing version 5 did. Its just different when I redownloaded 6-2 where I dont know why the back up save file didn't work when I put it in the game folder..

Afaik it's never been in the game's folder itself, but stored seperately on your computer.

I tried to use my old save data for this game to load up but when I open the game, it showed New Game and Options, but no where to click to continue my save data... I hope I dont have to start over again...

If you breed a phantump you can trade the egg for a mystery egg....

The egg however is decided on what it will be from the moment you start your save file. So it may not be lanturn for you unfortunately.

Since I got bulk up TM from Keta in V5, I can't find where the location of Stacking Shot TM is in Goldenleaf Forest on that small lake with the Poliwag Lilypads. Can anyone guide me to where it's located? posting screenshots of its location helps too~ Thanks.

hmmm... did you catch a Makuhita in Sheridan? Hariyama is a beast in here (except against Porygon2... this is her true ace in my oppinion)

you can catch a Tyrogue there which at level 18-20, and convenyently will evolve at level 20! However it is extremely rare.

or you could try using a Dunsparce (the field is full of this little f-tards)... try to get one with Serene grace

They can learn Yamn (for sleep) and Glare (for Paralysis), let it learn Rock Smash... (to think I would say this... with Serene Grace the Defence lowering part will come in handy) and it learns Roost

Oval Stones are sadly only gotton through mining... at least I didn't find any lying around

You can steal the Oval Stones from Happiny in Amethyst Grotto.

This is the wrong place to ask, but Keta gives it to you. If you beat Keta in v5 or older and got Bulk Up instead, then go to Goldenleaf Forest, and Surf in a small lake until you reach the TM.
