I mean I can take a look at the save but you may not actually have all the steps completed for the Magikarp quest before talking to the chief which sounds more like the issue. The quest does go down into 7th street at one point which is the point of activation for the chief.
The only other thing would be if you talked with Corrin Rogue in the desert

Since Episode 17 I've been unable to continue the Corin Rouge sidequest beyond the point where he catches the train to Tourmaline Desert since he doesn't appear in the junkyard and the Police Chief has no idea of his existence.
My hunch is it's because I never talked to the chief when I first encountered him.
I don't necessarily need the Magikarp, it's more that I'd like to have the Safety Goggles that the chief gives you at this point in the quest.
If anyone can help me that'd be greatly appreciated!

So unfortunately, I didn't talk to the police chief in E16 about the incident and now it seems I cannot trigger the rest of the event from happening when talking to him now (currently at the point after Rouge stole from 7th street guy) which sucks because apparently I cannot obtain the Safety Goggles now.
And I also have another playthrough where I finished the Aqua/Magma gang quest entirely before progressing with the Rouge sidequest at all and I cannot even interact with the gang member who has the Magikarp any more.
Any sort of help would be greatly appreciated.

Found out this problem when my Spore ran out of PP while trying to catch Type Null and using an ether did not actually restore anything despite the game saying otherwise
This isn't a problem for elixirs/max elixirs btw

It seems that certain field effects affecting grounded mons may still apply even during the airborne turn
http://imgur.com/EKTuMCE e.g. I use my Volcarona to fly around since I don't have a good 4th move for it anyways, and I've discovered that in the swamped field during the turn Volcarona is in the air, the screen still says its speed was lowered. Probably not a common problem by any means but still an inaccuracy to note and I'm guessing there's the same issue with Magnet Rise as well.
(and also if you switch in a grounded pokemon into a swamped field, its speed is not lowered at the end of the turn which I don't think is intended either)

actually never mind, I tested it out on another save file and I guess you can't walk into those tiles even before the event...
SpoilerAfter triggering the Kecleon event, I've found that I cannot interact with nor walk into those highlighted tiles when I clearly should be able to

Pretty sure I'm in the right place but inexplicably my nosepass is not evolving even after levelling up in one of the wings of the powerplant. I've done the Rotom event which turned the plant pitch black again but I don't think that should matter either...

Since its Dark Pulse was replaced by Shadow Ball, all you need is one ghost & one normal Poke with at least one of the two having decent defense and a lot of switching out to PP stall it without taking any damage at all.

So, finally got to breeding my 2nd run mystery egg Larvesta from scratch and eventually..........
It took awhile to get here however, which means I have 52 other Larvestas (1 shiny 31/28/31/31/13/31; see: http://imgur.com/3YR5H0L) and I'm pretty sure all of them have at least 2 30+ IVs. Looking for any other limited event pokes e.g. Heracross, Froakie, other mystery eggs, good IV fathers, and Leftovers/Blue Moon Ice Cream. BUT at the same time I don't want to burden Yash, Vinny, Ezery, Etesian, RainbowDash and co. with a ridiculous # of trades, so I'll try to give out at least two at a time so you can breed them too if you want. The better your offer the better IV Larvestas you will get back
Also, remember that Flame Body/Magma Armor is your friend.
edit: Shiny Larvesta is gone but I still have plenty more to trade away. And actually some have only one good IV stat so I mean I can trade those away for anything remotely rare/useful

Not sure if this is already known but I was facing a trainer's Dewgong in Serra's arena and it used sheer cold on my higher leveled Cofagrigus, but it reflected of course and OHKO'd me anyways when it shouldn't have

Oh of course I'm SRing before receiving the egg but as long as it still can be shiny coming from a trade I'll keep at it I guess.

I started my 2nd playthrough and lucked out by getting a Larvesta egg, and I've been trying to SR for a shiny since, except after 150 or so I've been thinking it's either impossible for the egg to be shiny, or that I need to trade the officer a shiny Growlithe egg, or that I've just been really unlucky to balance out my good luck. Does anyone know exactly which it is? Thanks.

Looking for any Growlithe/Growlithe egg just so I can do the event; useful items I can trade you include Black Sludge, Blue Moon ice cream, Rare Candy, any fossil (including Odd Keystone), any evolutionary stone or 5x Max Revives
Probably the only Pokemon I'm willing to trade that will draw even moderate interest is a shiny Mareep w/ mediocre IVs, but feel free to ask for anything else, thanks
edit: or any Azurill works too since that's the whole point of it lol

After using dive, strength and waterfall many times in Ametrine mountain...
its another X-Door, hidden deep within the mountain. Also TM05 Roar.
I found the door along with a deepseatooth and other goodies but not the TM, where is it?

Noting because my Chandelure with flash fire took damage from the wild Reshiram battle when it used Fire Blast/Blue Flare.
