  1. Well right now I just imagine Zygarde hanging out with Dunsparce both are snakes that live in caves and are seemingly ignored as of this current time, and are generally unimpressive due to lacking versatility or viability. Although would love to see a come back for Zygarde got a shiny one just sitting there in my PC waiting for something interesting to happen.

  3. I don't believe any standard of graphics is necessary for great video games. I would recommend looking at a game like Undertale. When i went into that game I abhorred the graphics, but stuck with it to the end. I enjoyed the game very much even without any fancy art done or even 3D graphics. So because of this I don't believe good graphics are necessary in any game, that includes Pokemon games.

On a side note I think consistent theme is way more important than any graphic could ever achieve. Take Cubivore for instance a game where there are cube monsters, cube land, and cube everything yet I relatively enjoyed the game. The graphics were plain, simple and not very interesting but dang look at all the colors, look at the variation of limb combinations, and it stayed consistently novel and colorful throughout the game. If suddenly there was a realistic bear that appears I would probably be very unhappy about the sudden graphic tumor that popped up in the theme.

  4. So I just beat Dark Souls III, and dear god are some of those bosses ridiculous to beat. I ran with a Uchigatana + 10 Sharp Infusion, with a Yorshka's Chime with that Great Magic Barrier, Bountiful Sunlight, Dark Moon Blade and Sunlight Blade. For the armor I used the Fallen Knight Set, and I threw the shield in the trash after realizing the bosses literally slam you on the floor for blocking anything, however I do swap the Grass Crest Shield for that stamina regeneration.

Going to say after the semi disappointing Dark Souls II I was super happy to be crushed and pummeled into the ground by these bosses. I still love Dark Souls I as my favorite, but Dark Souls 3 definitely hit that second spot for me.

Anyways going to try pyromancer/strength build next run. So.......... how about that poise.

  5. Have you considered adding an electric type to you team. One thing I love to do is add an ice and an electric type member to the team as they cover a majority of the Pokemon you face. If it is not defeat-able by ice beam than a thunder bolt will annihilate them. also consider thunder wave electro ball if you do consider this its hilarious.

As a recommendation for a good water type, going to be shocking, but Biberal or even Bidoof is a very good pokemon. With simple biberal can make a very big glove slap. Simple + Curse can turn it into a Armageddon Tank with high damage, high tank ability and is safely pulled off with rest to follow, and not to mention a held chesto berry. If you prefer a special defense give it amnesia, and simple will get it done in one turn. Waterfall, Strength to HM moves are turned into powerful punching forces with 1-2 curses.

However, if you prefer a more reliable and stronger water type than corphish and clauncher would be my opinion.

  6. Go for the 25, and if you have the patients go for 31 perfect all.

The ideal is to create multiple stronger generations. Get your ditto with good IVs, and let it hold a destiny knot to transfer those good IVs as much as possible to the child, and mate with whatever Pokemon you are breeding for with the proper nature and ever stone.

Steps to Getting that perfect Pokemon:

Check the first babies you create from the ditto and the Pokemon, if the child has move good IVs than its genetic mother (the Pokemon you are breeding for) than switch the mom for the child, and keep doing this over and over again till you reach around a perfect 5 IV child or as good as you see fit. When you have two of these very well bred children swap the ditto out as the ditto is there simply to give good IVs. Make sure the IVs of those two children cover each other.

    Example Good IV:

Child 1 has ATK, DEF, SPD, SPE, HP

Child 2 has SPATK, DEF, SPD, SPE, HP

as you can see the child 1 has ATK and child 2 has SPATK so given around some eggs you'll get one with both.

This requires a bit of patients, so keep that in mind. I went over a very brief understanding of breeding, so you might want to check a guide online for more detailed steps and further information. Good luck breeding that ultimate Favorite Pokemon.

  7. I got to say I am really proud of my shiny Gallade named Link. I have collected somewhere in the 500s of the 600s Pokémon in reborn all of which are shiny, and will little issue or trouble due to Link. Even though he was born as a shiny, jolly nature Gallade he was taught false swipe and hypnosis, and has stayed on the team ever since. His occasional Destiny Bond and Close Combat does provide the team with good damage, but he has caught 90% of the 500ish I've caught. When I scroll around my nine box full of shiny, ev trained pokemon I always just realize how many of them were all due to Link. I just imagine every battle scarred veteran Pokémon I own I started out as a young wild Pokémon who met this Gallade, and joined the team that way.

  8. I got seven boxful of shiny Pokemon love the altered sprites! The worse shiny to get was a shiny in the caves before the field rework. Oh god the torment like graveler explosion all over again!

  9. Creating my first "start a new topic" yeah...

Anyways, I hope this is the right place I am putting this in, and I hope everything post perfectly dandy. I mean no offense if something goes wrong, and I messed up some where big time.

So yeah anyways, felt like I would post these as they are what I've been doing in my spare time of Shiny Hunting. Honestly I have no idea what I am expecting, but since someone's ping has art in it I minus well post these. I'm much better with pencil and prisma (thanks to 4 year art program), but I've gotten real rusty in college since reading giant textbooks have become my current occupation.

Anyways, yeah some hope this goes well.

I unfortunately don't know how to post images into spoilers...

    Again apologies.

And I messed up I gave this thing a proper title! What happen? please delete please please please

  10. I wear a nike that has a strap and laces, and so whenever I feel lazy I just strap and shove the laces between the strap so they stay out of the way. When I feel they are too loose I will tie my shoes to cut all blood circulation into my feet.

  11. I would like to give Cradily Harvest, I don't personally feel any of its current abilities are superb for how it is used. As a generally special defense tank having Harvest would boost its survivability. Storm drain gives it special attack that it can never fully utilize, and Suction Cup is like throwing them out there without retreat or back up.

Also maybe simple Quagsire am I the only one who thinks this should have been an already given ability? He looks like he's a chill simple living guy that I just assumed he had this until I picked one up, and realized he didn't.

Also I do believe tinted lens Volcarona would be glorious but terrifying.

  12. I briefly read the previous post, and just going to say go steel bro. Although my favorite pokemon are not steel my favorite type is steel due to custap berry and sturdy (commonly in steel type pokemon). Anyways nice run, and amazing nicknames for your Pokémon wish I was that creative. Alright I'll see if I can find some time to reead through everything instead of skimming.

  13. So I would like to add my personal Pulse/Boss wrecker

    Wobbufett

With impressive stats it can survive most hits from Pulse/Boss or field boosted attacks. It has reflect and mirror coat, and with its massive health pool either of the mentioned moves would send any Pokémon to faint land if properly guessed. I took down pulse Swalot without any casualties with Wobbufett. Additionally with a custap berry a near death Wobbufett can give a parting gift by destiny bonding one of your opponents Pokémon. I find this happening a lot as the first move nearly kills Wobbufett everytime due to either pulse or boosted.

The biggest issue is that it is found just before Luna pretty far into the game as a Wynaut. I never really bothered using one till I stumble over a shiny Wynaut. Yet every other fight after that has been Wobbufett knocking out two pokemon before the battle even begins, and Pulse/Boss Pokémon either get OHKO by Reflect or Mirror Coat or I'm sacrificing Wobbufett with Destiny Bond. Lastly with shadow tag it can force the enemy trainer into horrible situations where they would much rather swap out. Its a destined kill with anything going into the ring with Wobbufett other than toxic stall or another Wobbufett.

I would give it a B just because of its failure to beat stallers and when it is obtained.

Another Pokémon along the same lines is Metal Burst Aagron with sturdy. Mega Altaria died this way. Give him a custap berry, and he'll dent something after his one hit wonder.

  14. Gulpin might find more usage later on in the game than Whismur. like Ryu stated before that poison status can really come in handy as well as his tank-ability. Additionally your team really doesn't need Whismur when you have a gorgeous Fennekin unless you are planning on taking Fennekin out sometime even than there are better choices. Whismur's main usage is that amazing Boomburst when it becomes an Exploud with that stab + 140 base power. Still it's a normal type move meaning is viability is greatly hampered.

However it shouldn't be too much of a problem as there are SO MANY TRAINER BATTLES you will be seeking more Pokémon to start consuming up experience so your main team doesn't out level the badge level limit.

  15. Well I only have made one OC so far in my entire life. Hank Nghiem.

First off Hank Nghiem is a play on my own name as Hank is a common nick name, and Nghiem in its native language is royalty while my real nickname means peasant.

I developed Hank Nghiem at the in fifth grade when I drew a picture of myself in chibi holding a bouquet of flowers and chocolates for my mother on mother's day. She eventually told me to keep it and put it into my sketch folder, but as a trouble maker little boy I decided to alter the drawing and make him look like James Bond super agent spy. As I left elementary Hank came along with me changing to a high school student as my ideals became a bit more realistic, but than I joined the anime club. Hank went from one anime into another going from Gundam pilot to Death Meister to Heroic Servent acting as my personal inserted character in my short fanfiction stories. To this day he's my primary character representation and persona.

  16. Mega Shedinja

    Type: Bug/Steel

    Ability: Wonder Guard

    HP: 1

    Attack: 140

    Defense: 110

    Sp. Attack: 30

    Sp. Defense: 110

    Speed: 110

First off I love Shedinja as a Pokémon that has one of the coolest abilities, as well as the most unique drawback. Although because of this he either sees no play or uber play to mess around with dear legendry Pokémon that are ill prepared for his coming. Yet even his arrival is unimpressive as he is easily knocked aside by a single grain of sand, or a tiny ice pellet that touches his little angelic halo. In addition toxic spikes, spikes and stealth rock knocks him out before he even has the chance to show his talents. I really do feel sorry for the little guy, and he has won me many battles on numerous occasions by forcing choice holders. Not to mention Shedinja Endure Weakness Policy is a terror to behold with either a speed boost in some form or way.

The typing I gave him in his mega is to deal with sand storm a common weather option when it comes to fighting. If he doesn't even get a chance to get on the field how will he ever make it to the spotlight. Not to mention the bug/steel typing leaves him with one weakness being fire. Yet there are numerous other ways to knock this little fellow out like stealth rock, burn, hail, burn and curse. The second reason for the bug/steel is to add in some steel stab moves that can make him viable for fairy crushing, or showing Xerneas out the door. Still he has no options against fire types which makes them a huge problem in regard.

Now on to his stats. His HP is needless to say unchanged. After all it is what makes him absolutely unique. His boosted attack stat I believe good enough to prove a threat that the enemy cannot simply keep their sweepers in play, and forces them to either swap out or get heavily punished. Now his defense and special defense stats I have boosted because of the unique play of substitute. Substitute's defense and special defense are affected by the current Pokémon out while the HP of the substitute comes from the Pokémon that used substitute. This allows a baton passed substitute to Shedinja to be very effective, and can turn Shedinja into a very powerful sweeper after a sword dance or hone claw.

I upped Shedinja speed so that he can best middle tier speed, and join the ranks of top speed with the idea to punish not outright kill unless conditions are ripe. His improved but still mitigated attack allows him to be a good damager, but is just a bit out of range of true fashion sweeper. Still he could become a sweeper with a bit of set up which is easily played into his wonder guard that can surprise the enemy and buy you a turn for that set up.

Overall I am pretty sure this may be broken or be underpowered due to the one hit point, but hell I love this little thing its adorable.

  17. I have no idea what do yu mean by that. Neverless, check your Readme.txt file inside your Reborn folder for my source on the scripting collaboration. Plus there is also this post.

Could you please expand on why do you think it would be impossible? Zeta/Omicron used the mechanic on all game modes and covered all HMs. You did get the items from a special seller in Nuzlocke-mode, while you found them throughout the game world in a standard playthrough.

Wait what they used it in all game modes! I never got pass the third town, so here lies my experience. Well serves me right for entering a topic I was ill prepared for. Well that part of my argument is invalidated. Sorry about that. I only play when all six of my pals are on, and we all play together. So getting all six of us on at a time is a rare occurrence.
