  1. Most of those you listed I'm okay with (especially Ditto since HP is the only important stat anyways). Here's a couple that are often forgotten:

    Stunfisk

Before I get any hate, this thing isn't too bad of a Pokemon. The level it comes at pretty much makes it absolutely worthless though because no one wants to train a Stunfisk up 28 levels (I think it comes up at lv 5) just to be able to use it. I'd prefer if it wasn't ranked on the same level as Dunsparce because it can be useful especially when Aya is coming around the corner. I'd be happy with a level 20 one, but I'd rather it be 25.

Forgive me if this had been mentioned already or not; didn't finish reading through the thread before writing this!

In the first cave on Apophyll Island - not Pyrous Cave or w/e its called (I forget lol), but the other one, you can find level 30-35 and possibly higher stunfisk. I had previously caught one around that level I believe.

  2. Fennekin looks awesome.

    shiny sandile evolution line

colours used from the shiny electivire sprite credit to whoever made the shiny electivire sprite.

Looks great so far! Maybe if I could make a suggetion; what if you toned down the light blue just a bit (either by reducing saturation or maybe even the brightness) and maybe take the saturation down on the darker blue a tad. The contrast is kinda strong between the two blues. Of course this is just my opinion, but either way I'm sure it'll look fine. you did a great job!

  3. Ssso, apparently according to Bulbapedia, Mienshao's fur sleeves are based on Chinese Opera costumes. How about recoloring it to match such a costume? Googling pictures brings all too many gorgeous ones. Maybe even one of those pretty masks? With that, my concern would be it ending up looking like a Luchador, but that may not be a bad thing. :P

This seems like a great idea lol. Can't wait to see the end result. I might possibly make one myself, who knows.

  4. @ serythe, your manaphiones got imageshack'd :c reupload?

So sorry about that! I actually found out I used the wrong backsprites for the shinies so I'm going to have to redo them later on. Will definitely get around to it asap!

& also, I kinda like that pikachu colored pachirisu. nice work!

    edit::

here's the revamped phione & manaphy shinies!

  5. Thank you again, I'm very glad you like them. Simisage's belly is black because it's an area that has no fur, and its skin is black. In the original sprite, it was yellow like its face. :) I could change it, but then the blue belly on Simisear doesn't make sense... it's a matter of compromise between the animal's look and the Pokemon's design, I guess.

Either way Simisage looks awesome, imo. I understand what you mean lol, it would make more sense to follow the animal's look when possible while also keeping in mind the pokemon's design. Sounds difficult to do, but you've pulled it off so far! As always keep up the great work :D

  6. I'll have a look for another species for Simisage then. Maybe something with a more interesting color palette.

I tried out making the pink lighter pink on the snow monkey, but it wound up looking not exactly like a snow monkey. :P The colors are rather clashing on the animal itself if you ask me. Anyway, thank you!

    EDIT: Attempt #2

    516s_zpsumezaaag.png

I made the Japanese macaque's fur a bit darker, to contrast better with

    512s_zps6tinyxrp.png

    Southern Plains Gray Langur.

Whaddya think? It's still partly black, but I like it better for the white fur.

Sure, any time! In fact, I think I actually like the snow monkey either way. It has a very interesting color scheme, so up to you which you'd like to use! I also like your new Simisage; again interesting color scheme! Great job :D

edit: Looked at the picture you linked to the Southern Plains Gray Langur. Just an idea, but what if you colored Simisage's stomach area the white color the rest of his fur is to match the picture more? Either way looks awesome!

  7. Ah, dangit. I see. Thanks for the heads up, both of you. One more question, and I'm not quite sure if this is the place but I'll ask anyways. Is there any possible way to get back to Reborn City once you leave? I need to get to the move relearner but so far it doesn't seem possible to get back there from Route 1. Which is pretty strange considering that you should be able to?

  8. Go back on route 1 and then head all the way west (Left). Once you reach a research lab head south (Down) until you find the city gate. Enter the area inside it and you'll find them.

Ahh, okay. Was kinda hoping I wouldn't have to go back there. I ended up traveling all the way down and ended up there; then I couldn't get back up lol. Thanks very much!

  9. @Serythe : Nope they can't stand alternating.

@Nick : Hmm that works only if they are allowed to prompt each other where to go. Then it wouldn't be much of a riddle would it?

@Lagless: You have my respect sir *applauds

Lol alrighty. And does that mean Lagless' answer was correct? I'm curious to know what the answer is.

  10. Would anyone happen to know where you go after you beat Cain and Randomus' Gardevoir is stolen from him? It seems the two of them just disappeared and I can't recall if they mentioned where they went. Help would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much in advance!

  11. Hmm wait a second, don't tell me..

Is it possible that one person would stand first, and since other people can see their hat, stand accordingly? Like, if they alternated so that it would be the first person with a red hat, then the second with a blue hat, and so on. And, since you cannot see your own hat, someone that can see it could stand in between the first person and whoever stood next to them. People could just change their position In the straight line to form an alternating pattern, which would separate the red hats from blue hats.

---unless, it needs to be where all red hats are on one side and then all blue hats are on the other - or in other words, alternating hat colors isn't allowed.

    -----

Some flaws in your solution:1) This requires some prior planning and communication before to let everyone know of the plan.2) The person who is pushing the other away will not know if that person has the cap of the opposite color since he doesn't know his own.

Not sure if this post is too soon from my last one, however, was my guess in my last post (edited it earlier lol) at least close to the answer? I'm really curious what the answer could be, haha.

    -----

Lol okay, I wanted to check just to make sure. I can rule that out now, too xD

    ---

  12. If they can see each other then they will try to go near someone with a blue/red hat and if that someone pushes them away their hat has the opposite color so gradually two groups will form and from there a line

This might be possible but isn't that technically communicating in some way? I don't know lol

  13. @nick *applauds. You got it to the detail i was expecting. Good job.

Now for the killer ace i have been saving up.

Ten people have a red cap or a blue cap on them randomly. The number of red or blue caps is not fixed. They are not allowed to communicate with each other IN ANY WAY. How do they arrange themselves in a straight line such that all the blue caps are separated from the red caps?

Hmm.. kinda difficult but I'll take a guess. Perhaps there is a mirror, reflection, or some sort of way that you can see what color hat you have on? And if everyone is able to see, you would know who has what color hat on. Then, from that point, since your hat color is known as well as the others', they can arrange themselves in order according to their hat color?

If not, then it's possible there is someone that's telling the people where to stand - if you think about it, it says that the ten people cannot communicate with each other - it doesn't say someone (without a cap) can't communicate with them. For example, it could be some kind of an experiment or test, etc. This would make sense in that case.

I am sorry no. There are no external people involved and no mirrors etc. Consider them in an empty room. This isn't my ace for nothing you know :P

@Gaunt. They can see each other's caps. Not their own

Lol, dang, it's pretty hard. Hopefully it won't be something extremely obvious. Well, I need to think some more about it in any case.

    Okay, by any chance, please don't tell me this is the answer;

Is it possible that they took the caps off and arranged the caps in a straight line according to what color the caps are? That way it would be all blue and then all red caps in a straight line? The riddle doesn't seem to rule this out lol so I figured I'd try it.

  14. It depends on how difficult you choose your early game to be, in my opinion.

I'll quote from the "What starter should I choose?" thread.

I agree with this. The others are also correct. Blaziken seems like the best choice, especially if you get a speed boost one lol. Might make the game easier. Or, Charizard. I used an HA Charizard and it works out pretty well, most of the time.

  15. Not sure if these pokemon will be too much of a higher level, but - if you can use rock smash - near the abandoned power plant in Beryl Ward there's a cave requiring rock smash to get into it. It has ice types as well as phanpy/donphan. It was a great place to train in imo.

  16. Like the others mentioned there are a handful of fire types you can get around the beginning(ish) part of Reborn. Though for dual types, they seem a bit harder to find. The only one I can think of is Numel in the lava cave on Apophyll island.

Was not aware you could get tepig from Azurine island though! Lol.

  17. Here's everyone's least favorite pokemon from gen 5 for the byxbian wasteland (to be truthful, I actually like them)

    Trubish

    xUaEya2.pngbGC2Tki.png

    Garbador

    le7iCau.png7GxGvDo.png

And I modified the Garbador overworld sprite so maybe Ame can use it for Mr. Bigglesworth

    oK88vUQ.png

I like this! Great work. In my opinion this looks a lot better than the official shiny sprite, lol.

  18. Alright, made an attempt at the autumn Grotle and Torterra sprites! This time I also used the correct sprites, haha.

    rtM0Lq.pngtzZ0NN.png

    e35dET.pngK7ZBON.png

    I see. How about this?

    Green:

    2q358pl.jpg5zjk0h.png

    Blue:

    2jewa6s.png4lraq1.png

I agree, both are awesome! However, I feel the blue one is still a bit too dark. The green one is cool, maybe a little less brown? Just my opinion though lol. In any case, I do like them both :)

Chatot would be cool like this IMO, or Toucan Sam

    Sulphur_Crested_Cockatoo_Nov10.jpg

Attempted a chatot that looks like this lol
edit: changed some colors around and stuff. also used the wrong sprite for the first try, but here are the correct ones! lol

also. not sure how to delete those attachments, but the lighter, yellow chatots are the updated ones.

  19. you might want to use the other backsprites to recolor the non shiny ones. The non shiny backsprites are the ones that are being used for the game

Yes, I actually noticed that when I was looking at some of the other shiny sprites done in this thread, nevertheless, thank you for the heads up! Will be redoing this later on lol.
