Looked around in Wispy path but didnt see any event there, maybe its time based and i looked at the wrong time? Or maybe im just blind.
I dont think Quagsire can get both Recover and Stockpile he gets it from diferents mons. Also dont really see a reason to get recover/rest when you can use potions which has priority, at most i save some money.
The reason im using a Whiscash instead of Quagsire is because the only move Quagsire has to atack with is EQ and Slam. Took Wishcash as a more offensive mon since at the time Seel/Dewgong and Lumineon barely did anything damage wise.
Primarina cant take more than 1 Thunder from Lanturn. It survives literally on 1 hp. Dont know how much the field boosts the damage but i cant be THAT much cant it?
Playing on normal and I really cant find a way to go back. No one on the boat wants to take me back unfortunately.

Hey guys, would appreciate some help with my monotype if you can assist.
I have been strugling at some points, mostly on the Narcissa and now Valerie. I just cant get past Valerie.
The only reason I can even beat some battles is due to my Qwilfish, he comes in, hopefully survive 1 or 2 atacks so he can start using stockpile and then set up toxic spikes. After that he kills the first guy with water pulse spam ou rollout and from there hope that i dont get a crit so i can stall.
But i cant do that with Valerie. I feel like my team is kinda weak overall but i mean, where could i get a few better pokemon? couldnt find Lotad/Lombre even though they are in the poke location guide and pokedex doesnt know where to find them so i assume they have been axed? So really this just became so much harder since he was to be a extremelly important pokemon in my team. I have nothing else to resist electric besides a ground/water pokemon and it seems everyone that doesn't have Electric atacks have some grass ones so i dont know what to do.
Would like some help from you guys to see what can i do to get past Valerie.
So heres my team:
Primarina - lvl 43 - Moonblast / Hyper Voice / baby-Doll Eyes / Sing - Picked her since the only Water/fairy type was Azumaril and that was from Mistery egg
Crawdaunt - lvl 44 - Crunch / Aqua Jet / Razor Shell / Swords Dance - Replaced my Floatzel. More sweep potential with SD/aqua jet.
Whiscash - lvl 42 - Aqua Tail / EQ / Rest / Thrash - my only way to deal with electric types, doesnt work when they have any grass moves
Dewgong - lvl 40 - Aqua Jet / Ice shards / Encore / Aurora Beam - pretty terrible moves i think, only here to deal somewhat with grass and fly
Lumineon - lvl 38 - Flame Charge / Water Pulse / Flash / Gust - Flash was for getting rid of ghost field. I dont even know why i still have it
Qwilfish - lvl 39 - Stockpile / Toxic Spikes / Rollout / Water Pulse - the guy i normally lead so i can set up toxic spikes and then stall, the reason some battles are super easy and other go from really hard from acceptable.
Dont really know what to do against her. if the Lanturn doesnt just wipe my team off the bat the Ludicolo will. Havent even seen the rest off her team.
Did i pass some important pokemon i didnt think off and I could have gotten? Can i even go back and get it?

So it looks like there are three possible endings, from what I've read on the thread.
1.You rat out Flora, one way or another, and she gets arrested.
2.You keep her secret, but you're forced into becoming a Bladestar member.
3.You keep her secret and DON'T become a Bladestar member.
I haven't actually achieved options 2 or 3 yet, because I've only played this during Beta and I haven't gotten there with my new file yet... So let me know if this is all correct. I'm interested in seeing where this all goes...
Also, Jan said your decision will affect the story for all of Act 2, but I wonder if it has a major affect on subsequent acts also. Unless act 2 is the final one...
I dont see why keeping quiet would be helpful unless we can extort her later for that info.
Heres everything we know about the situation:
-Bladestar appears to be the cause or at least connected in some way to the suposed corruption in the forest.
-Bladestar has a "Work towards a better city" Sign - Doesnt seem bad right?
-They have lots of surveilance in the city.
-Cassandra can be reckless but cares for her city acording to Florin.
-Bladestar destroyed both the bridge and rails - and in doing so put innocent lives in danger.
-The media portraits Bladestar as terrorists.
-The people behind the media are cheaters and intentionally hide things according to Erin.
-Bladestar's goal is to take down Grand city authority and raplace it with people they trust because the current leaders are corrupted and greedy, expecially Cassandra acording to Flora.
-Flora believes Cassandra is behind the stone phenomenom.
-Florin has a kind heart and his kindness will lead to his own demise according to Flora - I think the intention is to say Florin can be naive so it lends credibility to him believing in Cassandra?
-Grand Dream City ran the Oblitus town bankrupt somehow
-Beth, the owner of the bar, doesnt like Cassandra or something along those lines - I forgot what she said exactly, i think something about not being able to sell in the city?
Bladestar is definitely not innocent right from the start but might not be truly bad? Maybe the best option really is to keep quiet and gather more info and perhaps use Floras identity as a trump card in version 9. Idk we shall see.

Can someone that has completed the game answer me a question about the choice you make this version?
Does the password you get from Erin do anything or its something for the next version?
Also did anyone choose the keep quiet all the way options to see if it differs from siding with Flora? If you do confront her she confesses to you and "forces" you to join her team (I for get the name) and end with her thanking you for being loyal and gives you a gym battle, but you probably do fight her if she sticks around anyway, so I imagine that we at least get something slightly diferent next version depending if we side with her or just keep quiet.
Because if thats not the case the "optimal" choice is either to expose Flora or keep quiet about her but always choosing Erin since you get a password that may or may not be important.
And to end it what choice are you going to stick by for version 9?
Im going to side with Flora for the time being and see where this leads to.

I guess you have to read the books in order?
1. Shes banned but wants a pokemon
2. nan buys a doll
3.she loves the doll but says her name
4. doll turns into pokemon, calls it light
5. loves playing with light, maybe tell her sister
6. naughty people come to take light so she hides.
Now i have the key too but everytime i try to push the bolder infront of the gate i can't.
Any help?

Okay, yeah your save file loaded up fine on my computer so it is a problem with your computer for sure.
I've never encountered an issue like this that hasn't been solved by restarting, so I'll keep having a think.
Can you think of anything you did to your computer in terms of changing resolution stuff that might have effected this?
I dont recall doing anything since formatting my pc but it wasnt that because i remember playing without this problem so it must have been something I've done between then and now, dont know what though.
EDIT: Pressing Alt+Enter to go fullscreen and then exiting fullscreen makes the game look like this. At least it's playable but would like to find an actual fix.
EDIT 2:It somehow fixed itself. I didnt do anything. WTF.

Okay, that does sound irritating. Firstly, have you tried restarting your computer? I've heard of this fixing similar issues before.
If that doesn't work, try uploading your save file so I can see whether your file has gone weird or if it is just your computer. You can find instructions on how to do it here.
Sorry forgot to mention that I tried restarting pc, reinstalling the games and that i sent my savefile to my brother so he could test it in another pc, in his it ran fine but here it is anyway.

The game has been acting weird since I formatted my pc, every time I start up the game it gets cropped like this. It depends on screen size it is initially started with and it isn't especific with reborn. Also happens with rejuvenation (small window) and insurgence (medium window).
I can fix this in insurgence by going into the options menu and change anything, doesn't matter what it is as long as I change a value, so the window returns to normal but for some stupid reason, every time a value is changed the game also moves itself to bottom right corner making me have to drag it around to the right place, this also happens in game making it extremely annoying to even go to the options menu but at least i can play.
I cant use this method for reborn or rejuvenation.
However changing the size of window to Large changes the zoom and if I then change to Medium it changes the actual size of the Medium window and keeps the Large zoom.
Medium window before size change: menu and ingame. (This is unplayable)
Medium window after size change: menu and ingame. (Still unplayable)
Can anyone help?

I think this is how it works but since I already completed it im not completely sure. Need someone to confirm this please.
The building is initially arranged like this:

The rooms that the web can be broken are 2.1, 3.1 and 4.
- First break 2.1 web by moving room 1.1 and 2.1 to the center, teleport to the top and drop from 0. This should allow you to go to 3.1, currently closed.
- Teleport to the top and jump once more and this should break 3.1 getting you access to panel 3 that allows you to move this room. Teleport to top and reset.
- Dont move anything and drop your way down to room 3.2, go to 3.1 and move it to the right so it goes : 3.3 3.2 3.1 and drop, it should go to panel 1. Activate so you can move 0. Teleport to top and reset.
- Drop to 3.2 again and move 3.1 to the left. Teleport to top. Drop to 2.3 and move 2.1 to the left. Teleport to the top. Use the control panel in 0 once to move it to the left. it should look like this i think.

This should drop you to to 4, break that web and get you to the gym leader.

I found him the first time I did that, but before I found him I talked to Aelita. Maybe you have to do that first?
This is weird, the first thing i did when i got there was talk to her so maybe i missed something else. Leaving the route entirely and coming back doesn't work. Don't know what im doing wrong.

You have to surf in the water near the redheaded girl. At the end there'll be a small piece of land where he's at.
There are a bunch of small patches of land in the water but he isn't there, do I need to trigger a specific event before he appears?

What am i supposed to be looking for in route 3 to find Rorim? Is there some obscure secret path at a random tree or am I missing something?

i can't find fennekin again, last place i saw him was at goldenleaf forest. I've ran out of money and repels and patience.If he keeps making me run laps around the map his sole purpose after being caught will be using him as a punching bag for the enemy trainers, maybe then i will feel better.
What are the chances of pokemon to have their hidden ability?
Also, what tip lady are you talking about Letskillup and where is she?
The girl with purple hair in the house where you get the requests will give you a hint of what you should do

For the fennekin Ill give a lil hint from something I noticed while poking around. It wouldnt surprise me at all if some people werent checking a certain rooftop.
THANK YOU. Already went trough all the zones 3 times now, why the hell would he even go there!? wasted so much money on repels to find that douche. At least I know the map by heart now.
Where's the fountain you mentioned because i can't find it. Also any idea where the money thief from one of the sheriden's quests and the fenniken went?
To me it was the left fountain on the pier, but it also was the last one i searched so you might have to search all of them first, don't know how the quest works.
You need to talk to the thief first, hes in town can't remember where, then chase him. If you talked to the tip lady first she actually induces you in error by telling you where to go AFTER you talk to the thief.
You can only get to the fennekin when you're done with Sheriden and catch him when you complete this version, i think, still need to run a few laps around the map.

Is Fennekin available in this version? Because i have searched every zone so far and can't seem to find him, last place i saw him was on route 2.

Really enjoying the game so far, good story and a decent challenge, keep up the great work!
So far the only really difficult part was the normal gym and i hate to admit it but i cheated it by using the battle items i been finding up to that point to kill that Swellow when i started having flashbacks to Noel and his Swellow/Staraptor, just fuck those birds. Apparently using one eats up both pokemons turns and they still take damage from from status so he just died from toxic. I just wanted to increase my feraligators defence at first.
Also did I miss it or is Sun stone not in the game yet? I still have my helioptile, currently level 45 that i would love to evolve.
And lastly is there any chance someone here can tell me where that goddamn Fennekin is? Last place I saw him was on Route 2 and i went everywhere since then and can't find him.

After finally managing to breed a decent Riolu I realized that Reborn is the first pokemon game where I actually bothered to gather a variety of pokemon and train them for a playthrough, when for others I would probably catch 6/7 tops, not even bothering to get a decent nature, and stomp everything in my way.
Right now i have 17 combat ready pokemons, 3 that are on hold until i get decent TM's and planing to get a few more when they become available.
With that said how many do you have?

While i was waiting for advice i grinded all my mons to lvl 44/45 and finally beat it after so many god damn tries. How? Lanturn spammed ice beam against Primarina and Ludicolo spammed ice beam against Qwilfish leaving me with a full team for the rest of the battle. I dont even. Best A.I. ever. Also Lumineon with Storm Drain help against Wishiwashi and Milotic.
Got really scared agaisnt Milotic though. Primarina got 2 Sp. Atk. decreases with Moonblasts and apparently her Milotic had Competitive.
Every try before died on the first 2 mons and now they decided to have pity on me and spam ice beam. im so confused
thank you all for the sugestions, maybe I will catch a quagsire when i get a chance and maybe even a Seaking. Can see some situations where they may be useful.
