  1. Cain is hands-down my favorite character, so I do have to chime in. Somewhere along the line he won my heart with his ridiculous dialogue or his backstory. I now refer to him (affectionately) as the "trash Princess" to my friends...none of whom play Reborn, but all of whom have to put up with me talking about it.

    Anyway, Cain is the best.

  2. I have to take the unashamed cuteness-lover tack here and say that my overwhelming favorites are the Eevee Evolutions, especially Flareon and Glaceon. Outside of those?? I'm a huge fan of Charizard and Ho-Oh, because...well, mostly because they're fire-types and (I think) have really cool designs.

  3. Well, if we're posting fanart here (and ahh, all this art is so good, I'm almost hesitant about putting my mediocre stuff up here...)

    A wild Shelly appeared!

Edit: Wow, sorry, that was much larger than I intended...but my computer, being a butt, isn't letting me re-size it. Oh well.

  4. Using the converter we get 'Kashii' for "Cassie."

Using the 'fun way' you get the rather impressive "Mikaariarikiku", probably better made into two names as Mikaari Arikiku.

If you go by name meaning? "Shining upon man" in Greek, so something with 'shine' and 'man'...I mostly just pester a friend who is actually good at Japanese for word meanings, but something like "Akiko" which would mean 'Shining/bright (female) child" or the male name "Akio" which does meaning "Shining Man" so...close enough?

Out of the three of them, though, I kinda like Mikaari Arikiku best, just for it's ludicrous-ness.

  5. I quite like Omega Ruby, probably because Hoenn was my first region, and because the new versions had those beautiful graphics. What can I say, though, I'm also hugely biased to anything that gives me powerful fire-types (Primal Groudon and Mega Blaziken, anyone?)

  6. if it's alright to rant here, then...

it's just really infuriating when you feel like someone only likes you when you are useful to them. Like, when you listen to them talk and when caring about you makes them seem like a nice person, they're great, but the second that they can't get anything by being good to you they go back to treating you badly...and they deny that they're doing it at all! I mean, it's not subtle.

Ugh. One more year until I go off to college and leave this place.

  7. I'm Cass, I'm new here and an avid writer, mostly in fantasy and in action-type stories. I'm actually thinking, once I've played through what I can, to write out my Reborn playthrough as a story, although that might be a bit ridiculous. I really like worldbuilding and character interaction, and I'm good at writing dialogue and horrible at describing a setting. I also tend to have too many ideas and not enough motivation...

I also like creating diverse characters if I can, and I've been told that I'm good at pacing my stories. Also, I somehow managed to complete NaNoWriMo three years running, thanks to sacrificing sleep and food to my stories. I don't know why I keep doing that.

Anyway, I'll put some of my writing here, although I'm not sure how spoilers work, so I hope this does.

Unfortunately, when she found Cat, the tiny woman was punching a rather tall man in the face. Demi leaned against the wall of a nearby building, taking in the scene--the man who Cat was fighting was tall and seemed rather strong, but on the other hand was moving like he was drunk. He did have a few friends around, who were quickly looking angrier and angrier. Cat, on the other hand, was smirking in triumph. She moved quickly when she was fighting, a flutter of skirt and hair and sharp knuckles and angles slamming into the poor soul she was facing against. There was something beautiful in watching a fight Cat was in unfold--a constant string of people underestimating her and her knocking them into the dust, again and again.

That said, if those two other men joined in Cat would be in trouble, and that was not alright by Demi. Carefully she stood up, away from the building, and judged her timing well. At the right moment--when Cat had pulled away, but was about to start throwing punches again--Demi slipped between her and the man she was attacking, grabbing her arm lightly and redirecting the blow to cause her to misstep.

“Catharine, what have I told you about this?” She chided, taking on the tone of a disapproving elder, but her fingers on Cat’s arm were light and when she glanced at the shorter woman, it was with a playful smile. Play along, her eyes seemed to say, and Cat was alright with that.

  8. For a little bit more about myself, uh...

I write a lot, and draw some (but I'm worse at that). I've been playing pokemon for a long time, tend to like Fire types above all else, and when it comes to pokemon I prefer playing the games and just getting pokemon I like than trying to make a competitive team, I guess. I mean, I find the theory of competitive gaming more interesting than actually battling that way myself...and I prefer talking to people about pokemon, I guess.

    Thanks, everyone!

  9. Hi! I'm Cass, or wingedScribe, and I'm downloading Reborn right now! I'm pretty new to all this, and it seems incredibly interesting, so I'm looking forward to it.

I'm not sure what else to say here, so I'll just say that I've been playing pokemon for years but this is my first real fanmade game, so there's that. Hi.
